Raymond was sitting at the bar drinking beer. At times like this he would usually talk to Ron but since he was in the hospital he didn’t want to bother him. Raymond had calm down, he thought back on the pointless argument he had with Charmaine. He couldn’t believe how stupid he was, no matter how mad he was he shouldn’t have stormed out on her. He gulped down his beer, “Get me another one,” he told the bartender.
A women very dressed sexily saw Raymond sitting by himself from a distance, she walked up to his and put her hand around his shoulder, “Mind if I join you?”
Raymond looked at the women and brushed her arm off his shoulder, he lifted his left hand in her face, “I’m married.”
The women wouldn’t give up and moved really close to Raymond, “I don’t mind,” she put her hand on his lap, “Obviously you don’t want to be with your wife right now so why don’t you be with me?”
Raymond thought about it, he actually really wanted to be with his wife. He pushed her hand off, “Leave me alone,” he stood up ready to leave. He walked outside the bar; all he wanted to do is go home to his wife, Charmaine.
Raymond walked up the street to catch a taxi home, from out of no where a white van intercepted him pulling him into the van. He struggled a bit pushing the guys away, he jumped out of the van but one of the men knocked him out with a bat.

*Warehouse, 11:15pm*
Charmaine and Steven arrived in front of a warehouse. They both got out of the car and looked around, “Looks like they haven’t arrived yet,” Charmaine said looking around.
They walked up to the warehouse, Charmaine stopped, “I think I might hide somewhere so they can’t see me. If you’re in trouble just shout out.”
Steven couldn’t let Charmaine stay outside, “Since they’re not here yet why don’t you just hide inside so you can have a better view.”
Charmaine thought Steven had a valid point, she slid the warehouse door open and walked inside. It was very dark and quiet; Steven walked in after her and closed the sliding door behind him. Charmaine turned around and saw him padlocking the doors together, “What are you doing?”
Steven ignored her and walked up to the control room and switched the light on.
Ada was sitting on a chair directly across from Charmaine on the other side of the warehouse, “Welcome Charmaine.”
Charmaine walked a little closer to Ada, “What do you want from me?”
Ada stood up, “For a police that graduated with the highest honours, your not very smart. Isn’t it obvious what I want?”
“I know you are getting revenge because of Sunny Chan, it explains why Joe Ma is dead. It also explains why you killed Derek Kwok even though he was helping you. You want me dead,” Charmaine said.
Ada shook her head and laughed, “Once again you’re wrong, well your not completely wrong. At first I did want to kill you but that’s because you were a loner, you had no one. But thanks to Steven, oh yeh did you know he is working for me. I know you suspected him but then he told you he was being blackmailed forcing you to help him.”
Steven walked down and stood next to Ada. Charmaine stepped a bit more closer, “What are you waiting for? Don’t you want me dead because I was partially the reason why Sunny’s dead?”
Ada laughed again, Steven handed her a remote control. She pressed the button, a crate rose up. Charmaine watched carefully as the crate slowly exposed what was inside, her eyes widened, “Raymond!” she shouted out.

*Choi Mansion, 11:55pm*
Bosco was stuck in the guest room, it was being guarded by two men at the door and his windows were bolted so her couldn’t climb out. He was sitting on the bed not knowing if Kenneth or Linda received his message or not. He heard the door to his room opening. Bosco covered himself and pretended to sleep.
Myolie walked inside and sat by his bed, “Bosco, not long till we get married,” she touched his face and kissed his forehead.
Bosco didn’t move a muscle and kept pretending to sleep. Myolie walked back outside and locked the doors to his room. Bosco sat up and felt his phone vibrating, it was a message from Kenneth.

*Warehouse, 12:08am*
Raymond was sitting on a chair with his arms and legs tied. A cloth was tied around him from preventing him to speak. Two men holding guns were standing beside him pointing their guns at Raymond. Charmaine seeing this took out her gun and pointed in Ada’s direction, “Let him go! It’s me you want!”
Ada laughed again, “Charmaine my dear, as I said before I did want you to die but then I thought what’s the fun in that?” Ada’s face suddenly turned very cold, “I want you to see the person you love the most suffer and die.”
“Your crazy!” Charmaine shouted still pointing the gun at Ada.
Ada ignored her comment, “Did you know that if you two didn’t have that fight then your husband wouldn’t of gone to that bar and if he didn’t go to the bar then I wouldn’t of had the chance to catch him tonight and bring him here. So technically it’s your fault.”
Charmaine looked over at Raymond, he looked her in the eyes, shaking his head wanting her to just get out of there. Charmaine looked fiercely back at Ada, “So everything that has happened for the past year was all just a set up to get back at me?”
“I guess you can say that. Not the robbery though, that was actually for my sister Myolie in order for her to get close to Bosco. All the deaths and attacks and also Steven trying to advance on you but he failed,” Ada turned and glared at Steven, “But that turned out well, otherwise you wouldn’t have got together with Raymond Lam.”
Charmaine couldn’t believe all the things Ada had done was just because of her, “Let him go. You don’t want him!”
Ada gave one of the men a hand signal, the man untied Raymond’s cloth in his mouth. “Charmaine get out of here, leave me!!” Raymond shouted.
“Aww… he wants to save you,” Ada sat back down on her chair, “Shoot him.”
“Don’t!!!” Charmaine shouted with fear.
Ada gave another hand signal to stop the man from shooting Raymond, “How about I make you a deal. I won’t shoot you husband only if you shoot yourself in the leg.”
Raymond struggled trying to free himself, “Don’t do it!! Charmaine!! Don’t do it!!”
Charmaine lowered her gun she looked over at Raymond. A tear dropped out of her eye, “If I do it, do you promise to let him go?”
“You have my word,” Ada gave an evil smile.
Charmaine kept her eye on Raymond as she pointed her gun to her leg. Raymond tried loosening the ropes around his hands, “Charmaine don’t do it!! Leave while you have the chance!!” Tears began flowing down Raymond’s eyes as he tried really hard freeing himself.
Charmaine’s eyes were full of tears, she looked up at Ada, “Remember what you just said,” with a quick motion Charmaine pulled the trigger on her gun shooting her own leg. She dropped her gun and fell back onto the ground in pain, blood was pouring out of her wound, “Let Raymond go!!” she said weakly.
Ada laughed once more, “Why is it that the good people are always so gullible?”
Raymond could see how much pain Charmaine was in. He wriggled his hand out of the rope that tied him. Ada got up and walked over to Raymond. Charmaine was sweating in the pain from her leg, but she had to hang on. She slowly reached for her gun on the floor. Raymond had now successfully freed his legs and without thinking he stood up and ran over to Charmaine, he leaned her against his chest.
“Let her go and you can take my life,” Raymond told Ada.
Ada walked closer towards them, “Such a sweet couple. Both willing to die for each other. Since you both are willing to sacrifice your life for each other then I think I will fulfil this dream of yours.”
Charmaine was holding onto her gun, she saw the power box on the left hand side in the corner. She took a shot darkening the whole warehouse. Raymond lifted her up and ran to the other side of the warehouse.
“Fix the light!” Ada shouted at Steven.
Raymond could see a back door, he held onto Charmaine who was really weak from the great amount of blood she has lost; “Only a few more steps till we are out of here.”
Raymond and Charmaine crept slowly towards the back door, blood was dripping from Charmaine’s leg but she carried on walking. Raymond opened the door and ran out with Charmaine. They sprinted fast away from the warehouse. Raymond turned and saw Ada and Steven running out with the two other men. He held onto Charmaine’s hand and kept running but her leg was in so much pain she fell to the ground. Raymond picked her up and carried her on his back sprinting as fast as he could.
He ran to a small abandoned house and hid there, he watched as Ada and Steven walked pass, “I think they’re gone,” he looked over at Charmaine, he face had gone all pale. He took his jacket off and put pressure on her wound to stop the blood from running. He could see she was in extreme pain, tears flowed down Raymond’s face as he held tightly onto Charmaine.
Charmaine lifted her hand slowly and touched Raymond’s face, “Sorry,” she said weakly.
Raymond wrapped his hands around her even tighter, “No, I’m sorry. If I didn’t storm out on you then Ada wouldn’t of captured me.”
Charmaine wiped the tears off Raymond’s cheeks then passed out from the pain.
