Ada had returned home, although she couldn’t see Charmaine and Raymond’s death and was a bit angry, she kept a happy face knowing that her sister was getting married today. Bosco was wearing his wedding suit as he waited for Myolie; he kept looking at his watch waiting.
Myolie walked out of the mansion in a white wedding dress, she walked to Bosco and smiled, “We are finally going to be together.”
Bosco smiled back, “I know. I’ve actually been waiting a long time for this,” he lied trying to make her happy. “I need to go to the bathroom, I’ll be back.” He walked back into the mansion and pranked Kenneth on his phone. Bosco walked back out smiling, not so long after the sounds of sirens filled the air. Several police cars arrived at the Choi mansion.
Ada’s men pulled out there guns and began shooting. The crossfire between the police and Ada’s men got heavier. Bosco dived for cover and stayed low. From the corner of his eye he saw Myolie stuck between this crossfire, he jumped out and pulled her into cover.
Ada ran back into the mansion back to her room, she dug into her drawer taking out the photo of Sunny and just sat on her bed. The crossfire happening down stairs came to a stop as the police out numbered Ada’s men. Bosco, Kenneth and Linda ran upstairs to Ada’s room all pointing their guns at her, “Don’t move!”
Ada didn’t move, she knew this was the end. There was nothing she could do but she didn’t care, she got her revenge nothing else really mattered. Bosco moved closer to her, he reached for his handcuffs and cuffed her up. Bosco walked back outside with Kenneth, “Thanks for coming.”
“You owe me big time,” Kenneth joked.
Myolie was sitting at the back of police van watching Bosco.
“So is Jessica alright?” Bosco asked.
Kenneth stopped, “We couldn’t find her. I followed your directions to find her but she wasn’t there.”
Bosco ran up to Myolie, “Where is she?”
Myolie felt her heart breaking, she finally could see that her love for Bosco was only a one sided thing and that it was just her being too stubborn, “She’s trapped on a rubbish boat at sea.”
Without thinking Bosco jumped in a car and sped off.

*Abandon House, 9:30am*
Raymond was holding tightly onto Charmaine, he could feel her shivering. He touched her forehead, it was burning up very badly but the rest of her body was ice cold. He looked at her wound and it was infected. Raymond looked outside to see if it was safe to leave. No one was outside, he pick Charmaine up and carried her on his back.
Raymond walked outside to find Steven appearing right in front of him, “Going somewhere Raymond Lam?”
Raymond backed away a little, “Steven, let me go.”
“Why should I do that?” Steven asked.
Raymond felt Charmaine shivering even more, she was becoming weaker and weaker, “Please, all I want is to take Charmaine to the hospital. What ever you want from me you can take it. You want to be partner of the firm then you can have it, I’ll quit tomorrow. If you want money I’ll give you all my money.”
Steven laughed, “No can do, I gave Ada my word. If I see you two then I will have to kill you,” Steven pulled out a gun from behind him and pointed it at Raymond.
Raymond could feel Charmaine slipping away, “Charmaine stay awake, I’ll get you to a hospital soon.” He walked really close to Steven, “Move out of the way,” Raymond said fiercely.
Steven pointed his gun at Raymond’s head, “I don’t think so.”
“Why are you like this? All this just because of money and status, is it really worth it?” Raymond asked.
“Yes, money and status is all I want!” Steven shouted, he pushed the gun harder on Raymond’s forehead, “All I have to do it kill you and Charmaine to get what I want.”
Several locals living in the area passed by and saw Steven, Raymond and Charmaine. They looked carefully and realised Steven had a gun, the three locals hid behind a tree and called the police.
“Steven I have to get Charmaine to a hospital! Let me go,” Raymond pleaded.
“Does it look like I care about Charmaine,” Steven was about to pull the trigger but sounds of sirens distracted him, he turned around and saw two police cars coming his way.
Raymond saw his chance and pushed Steven to the ground and ran as fast as his in the direction of the police. Steven stood back up and aimed for Raymond and began shooting. The police arrived and through the loud speaker, “You are have been surrounded, surrender now!!”
Steven had completely lost it, he kept shooting at Raymond, “It’s because of you!! Die Raymond Lam.”
An officer took a shot at Steven getting his arm. Steven fell back to the ground; he lay on the grass as the police ran up to him. He started laughing really loudly, “I’m going to be partner of the firm, all the money is mine!! Everything is mine!!” he laughed even louder as the police handcuffed him.
“Charmaine,” Raymond turned his head looking at Charmaine, but she didn’t move. He could no longer feel any movement from her, “Charmaine! Wake up don’t sleep.” He put her down and used his hand to support her and felt his hand a little wet, he looked at his hand being soaked in blood. She had been shot in the back by Steven’s bullets, blood came rushing out of her back soaking her whole shirt, “I need to take her to a hospital!!” he shouted out to the police.
Raymond placed her in the car and a police jumped in the drivers seat, putting the siren on and sped off to the hospital. Raymond held her hand, “Charmaine don’t give up! Do it for me!”

*Beachside, 10:24am*
Bosco jumped out the car and ran down the beach, “This should be the place,” he recognised the lighthouse from a distance being at the exact same angle when Jessica was on the TV screen. “Jessica!!” Bosco shouted, “Jessica!”
He ran to the dock and saw a rubbish boat floating in the middle of the sea, without thinking he dived in and swam as fast as he could in that direction. He waves kept bashing into him but he kept swimming, he finally reached the rubbish boat and climbed inside. Jessica was tied up lying on the ground.
“Jess,” Bosco ran towards her and untied her, he took the blindfold off, “Jess, can you hear me?”
Jessica opened her eyes slightly, seeing Bosco gave her a sign of relief, “I knew you would save me. I’m sorry I didn’t listen to you, from now on what ever you say I will listen.”
Bosco hugged her tightly, “It doesn’t matter, as long as your alright then everything is fine.”
Jessica hugged him back, she looked at him, “Why are you wearing a tux?”
“I was getting married to Myolie,” Bosco said.
“What?” Jessica shocked hearing this.
“She forced me to, otherwise she was going to hurt you. I had no choice,” Bosco explained, he stood up and looked around and saw a small fishing boat passing by, “Hey!! Over here!!” Bosco shouted jumping up and down.
The fishing boat sailed in their direction and stopped, a man walked out, “Need some help?”
Bosco helped Jessica up, “Can you take us back to shore?”
“Come on board,” the man said.

*Hospital, 11:59am*
The nurse pushed Charmaine into the operating theatre the doctors came along shortly. Raymond stopped the doctors, “You have save her!!”
“We will try our best,” the doctors walked in the operating theatre and the lights lit up.
Raymond waited outside for the next two hours but no one had come out. Bernice pushed Ron down to the operating theatre. Ron was sitting on a wheel chair, “How is my sister?”
Raymond shook his head, Ron patted him on the shoulder, “She didn’t me give on me so I won’t give up on her.”
“What is going on? Why is everything happening to us all of a sudden?” Bernice asked.
The three of them waited for another thirty minutes before the light went off. Raymond jumped up as they pushed Charmaine out of the operating room; he held her hand, “How is she?”
“We successfully pulled out the two bullets, she’s really lucky the bullet missed heart by an inch. We have to take her to Intensive Care, if your going ask me how long until she wakes up I don’t think I can answer that question,” the doctor patted Raymond on the back, “Don’t worry, she’s in good hands.”
Raymond walked Charmaine up while Bernice followed pushing Ron along, “First I’m in intensive care, now my sister. This isn’t a tradition I want to run in the family,” Ron said.
They arrived at the Intensive Care Unit, Raymond watched as the doctors hooked Charmaine up to life support. Bosco and Jessica arrived at the hospital, “How is she?” Jessica asked.
“She has the same situation as Ron did, all we can do is wait,” Bernice told Jessica.
Raymond watched Charmaine through the glass window, “I want to be alone with her,” he told everyone in the room.
Bosco patted Raymond on the back; everyone left Raymond alone in the room. He kept watching her, a tear dropped from his eye, “Hang in there Charmaine, you can do it. I know you can.”

*Alexander Building, Floor 38 Apartment B, 6:15pm*
*One year Later*
Bosco was in the kitchen cooking while Bernice was teaching Jessica how to play Chinese chess, “I don’t how you can play this for so long with Ron,” Jessica said having no idea how to play still.
“It’s fun,” Ron said playing with his newborn son.
“Dinners ready!” Bosco ran over to play with his godson, “Who’s the cutest little boy, you are. Oh yes you are.” Bosco sat Ron’s son on his lap, “Excited about our wedding in a few days?”
“I am indeed, too bad Charmaine hasn’t woken up yet,” Jessica sighed, playing with the little babies fingers.
Ron sat at the table; “You can surprise her when she does wake up. Where’s Raymond? He said he would be here after he goes to the hospital.”

*Hospital, 6:23pm*
Charmaine had switched to a normal room now but was still on life support, Raymond sat by her bed holding her hand, “Today I was in court and as usual I won the case. I know I shouldn’t brag and should be modest but I just had to tell you.” He massaged her arms a little, “Did I tell you I am now partner of the firm with Florence,” Raymond held her hand close to him, “When are you going to wake up?” Raymond took out a coin, "How about I flip a coin and if it's heads you wake up."
Raymond flipped the coin into the air but accidentally knocked over a cup of water all over himself. He got up and leaned over Charmaine to get a tissue. Raymond didn't realise that he was blocking one of the tubes connected to Charmaine.
Slowly Charmaine opens her eyes feeling her tube being blocked. She sees Raymond leaning over her, though she is very weak she mangers to lift her hand and tap him on the arm. Raymond could feel a tapping on his arm, he stood up right and saw Charmaine awake.
“Charmaine,” he held onto her hand, “Your awake, do know how long I had to wait for you to wake up?” Raymond couldn’t believe his eyes, it felt as if he was dreaming. He took the oxygen mask off of her.
Charmaine was really weak and could barely speak. She smiled, “You were blocking the tube to my oxygen mask so I couldn’t breath properly,” she said softly.
“If I knew that’s all I had to do to wake you up I would have blocked that tube a year ago,” he joked.
Charmaine laughed a little. Raymond leaned forward and kissed her, “I’ve missed you.”
Charmaine held onto Raymond hand, “You’ve been in my dreams.”
“I’ve always wondered, could you hear me talking to you?” Raymond asked out of curiosity.
“I heard every word. I heard you complaining to me about Bosco annoying you all the time about his wedding, about my new nephew, about Ron and Jessica successfully prosecuting Ada Choi, Myolie Wu and Steven Ma and last I heard how brag on about how many cases you’ve won,” Charmaine laughed a softly.
“Promise me that you will never sleep for that long ever again,” Raymond said.
Charmaine smiled and nodded her head.

*Church, 1:00pm*
Bosco looked at his watch as he greeted everyone in front of the church door with Ron, “Why isn’t Raymond here yet?”
“I don’t know, I haven’t seen him for like in days,” Ron said looking around.
Bernice came out of the dressing room where Jessica waited, “Is Raymond here yet?”
Ron shook his head, “Nope.” From a distance he saw Raymond holding onto someone walking towards the church, Ron couldn’t recognise who the woman was because she was looking down at the ground.
“Is Raymond with another woman?” Bosco asked also trying to see who that woman was.
Ron was furious at how can he abandon his sister when she’s in a coma, he ran up to Raymond punched him, “How can you do this my sister?” Ron was about to attack Raymond again but was pulled back.
“What are you doing?”
Ron turned around and saw it was Charmaine, “When did you wake up?” he asked very surprised.
Raymond got up off the ground, “She woke up a few days ago. Gees Ron I thought you were the most calm look carefully next time you want to punch someone.”
“Bosco!! Bernice!! My sister is awake!!” Ron shouted.
Bernice ran back to the dressing room to get Jessica, Bosco ran down, “We’ve missed you madam.”
Jessica came running out of the dressing room wearing her wedding dress; she hugged Charmaine almost making her fall over, “Your awake and just in time for the wedding.”
It was time for the wedding; Bosco accompanied Jessica to the entrance, Ron and Bernice linked arms and followed behind them. Raymond smiled and put his hand around Charmaine’s shoulder walking her into the church.
Bosco and Jessica exchanged said their vows then exchanged rings, happiness shined through their faces. Ron and Bernice sat in the crowd with their little baby boy pointing at the married couple. Raymond and Charmaine sat beside Ron.
Raymond turned and stared at Charmaine for a long time, she turned around and gave me a weird look, “What are you staring at?”
“I uh…” Raymond smiled and shook his head, “It’s nothing.” He wrapped his hands around her, holding her tightly, knowing that nothing mattered only that he is grateful for every moment he has with her.
