“Who are you?” Jessica said slowly reaching for her mobile.
“I’m cooking…” Bosco answer.
“I asked you who you are not what are you doing. Answer my question,” Jessica had totally forgot that she had met Bosco at the courthouse and at Ron’s party.
“Oh… I’m sorry. Let me formally introduce myself, I’m Bosco Wong graduate of the Hong Kong Police academy, year 2006 to be exact. I was the top student of my year and now I am in the CID,” Bosco was reporting to her as if he was at a job interview.
“Right… where’s Bernice?”
“She’s getting changed.”
Jessica left the living room and walked into Bernice’s room thinking Bosco was quite odd.

*Kowloon Police Station, 9:43am*
Team B Chief Inspector Michael Miu had always looked down upon Team A, he walked into their headquarters.
“Still haven’t solved the murder case yet?”
Charmaine put down her files, “Good Morning Miu Sir, we are in the process…”
Michael thinking how pathetic their team was, “If you want, I can always tell my Team B to give you guys a hand.”
“That won’t be necessary, but thanks for the gesture.”
Michael gave a little laugh and left the room.
Kenneth ended his call with the phone company, “Madam, I’ve checked and apparently in the past two weeks there has been two phone calls made out from Florence Kwok’s house. Both to the same place.”
“Everyone to the conference room,” Charmaine ordered.
Five minutes later everyone in team A was in the conference room. Charmaine walked in the room, “I want to start from the beginning, everything about this case seems to be all over the place. Bosco you start first.”
Bosco opened his file, “From the forensic report it showed that the alleyway where Selena Li was murdered was the first crime scene, there were no signs of injuries from struggling. Several fingerprints were found but because it was a public area where everyone can access the evidence of fingerprints is no use. Forensics checked the weapon that killed her it was actually a piece of the scrap metal in the alleyway. Only her finger prints were on the scrap metal.”
“Selena Li was last seen at H&L Law Firm, Florence Kwok is her lawyer, she’s in Hong Kong but told everyone that she’s gone overseas. This was right after Selena was murdered. Is there even a connection? Everything is so random.” Charmaine thought about it for a moment.
“Are we sure she was even murdered?” Linda asked out of the blue. Everyone in the room looked up at her.
“Forensic’s said the angle which the weapon was stabbed cannot be done by herself,” Bosco assured her.

“Madam Sheh, there’s a lawyer named Florence Kwok waiting for you outside. She said its involving Selena Li’s death,” an officer told Charmaine.
Charmaine who was sitting on the table immediately jumped up and walked out to greet Florence.
“Madam Sheh is it?” Florence shook Charmaine’s hand then handed her an envelope.
“What’s this?”
“Selena gave me the day she died.”
Charmaine opened the envelope, inside the letter wrote:
I don’t believe justice anymore, I don’t believe in anything
anymore. All I believe is taking things into my own hands.I believe I can take my life away.
The letter only had these few words and was signed and dated by Selena.
“Are you telling me she committed suicide?” Charmaine asked Florence.
“I guess so.”
Charmaine found it hard to believe, “Ms. Kwok we’ve been looking for you ever since the death of Selena Li, your answering machine said you left Hong Kong but we checked immigration you never left. Where exactly were you?”
“I took some time off work because my husband had come back to Hong Kong on a business trip, I wanted to spend some alone time with him,” Florence looked at her watch, “sorry I have to go back to the firm.”
Although there were many things unexplained but Charmaine had no choice to close the case since the letter was enough evidence to justify the suicide. But even so Charmaine, still suspected the suicide letter had more to it.

*On the Street, 6:16pm*
Bosco left the station and decided to walk home. He walked through a park taking a short cut back to the apartment. The park was quite deserted at this hour besides for Bosco only one other person was walking through, Myolie Wu. Both of them crossed paths, and Bosco gives a friendly smile, she smiles back at him.
They walk to the different ends of the park.
“Help! Let Go!” Bosco heard someone crying out, he immediately followed the cry.
Bosco ran to the other side seeing two masked men trying to shove Myolie in a van.
Myolie saw Bosco running towards them, “Police! Let her go!” he shouted.
Two other uniformed passed by the scene at that time, the cover was blown for the two masked men. They pushed Myolie to the ground and drove off in the van.
Bosco ran to Myolie, “Are you alright?”
Myolie looked at Bosco, “Thanks.”
The two officers came running towards them, “Are you alright ma’am?”
Bosco stood up and showed them their police identification.
“We’ll take it from here sir,” one of the officers said.
Bosco looked at his watch it was fifteen minutes to 7o’clock, “Crap, Jessica’s going to be home soon and I haven’t started cooking yet.” Bosco helped Myolie get up, “Take care,” and sprinted out the park back home.

Bosco arrived at Jessica and Bernice’s front door all puffed out and sweaty, “ha! Only took my ten minutes if I sprint,” he said to himself ringing the doorbell.
Bernice opened the door, “Hey Bosco here to teach me more dishes?”
“Yeh,” Bosco trying to catch his breathe. “Is your sister home?”
“She’ll be back in thirty minutes.”
Bosco went to the kitchen and in a matter of fifteen minutes he had already cooked three dishes.
Bosco walks out of the kitchen just as Jessica arrives home, “Why are you here again?”
“I’m here to teach Bernice more dishes,” Bosco puts the dishes on the dinning table.
“But weren’t you here just yesterday?” Jessica could sense something was going on.
“I have many dishes to teach.”
Jessica walked into her room thinking, “There’s only one explanation for that kid to cook everyday, his trying to pursue Bernice. Well his got to go through me then.”

After a long hard day of work Raymond arrived home, “Bosco, what’s for dinner?”
Raymond thought it was weird that Bosco wasn’t home and the fact that he didn’t prepare dinner was so unlike Bosco. He put his things down and checks his messages on the answering machine.
It was a message from Bosco, “Hey Ray, I won’t be home to cook but there’s some food in the kitchen, eat that.”
Raymond walked into the kitchen and looked on the bench, the only source of food was a loaf of bread. Raymond picked up the loaf of bread, “What’s up with Bosco leaving me only white bread.”
Raymond picked up his phone and dialled a number, “Hey Ron, what are you doing for dinner?”
