Kevin slowly opened his eyes scanned the surrounding, the room was dark and the only source of light was coming from the moon outside. He suddenly realised his hands and feet were both tied up and had a cloth tied around his mouth. He tried to break free but couldn’t. He looked next to him and saw Charmaine lying on the ground, tied up as well. He shifted next to her and bumped her a little trying to wake her up, “Charmaine!” his voice was distorted due to the cloth around his mouth.
Charmaine didn’t budge and kept lying there. He thought about this whole incident, “We were only meant to be attacked,” he suddenly realised that this was not his planned attack but an actual kidnap. He moved next to Charmaine and bumped her again.
Charmaine slowly opened her eyes; she panicked realising she was tied up. Three guys suddenly opened the doors and walked inside. One of the guys removed the cloth from Kevin and Charmaine’s mouth.
“What do you want?” Kevin asked.
“What do you think we want?” asked one of the guys laughing, “Money.”
One of the guys looked over at Charmaine with a creepy smile and walked towards her and grabbed onto her. Charmaine squealed a little and closed her eyes trying to release herself from his grasp.
“Let go of her!” Kevin shouted, “You touch her and I promise you that you won’t get any money and I mean it,” Kevin said firmly.
“Stop playing and let her go,” The head guy told the other man, “we’ll be back.”
The three guys left the room locking it behind them. Kevin moved next to Charmaine who was almost in tears, “Are you alright?”
Charmaine was short on words; she nodded her head assuring Kevin.
Kevin sat next to her trying to untie the rope around his hands but it wasn’t working, he finally gave up, “Sorry.”
“Why are you saying sorry?” Charmaine asked also trying to break free.
“It’s me they wanted but because you were with me you got captured too. I’m sorry,” Kevin apologised again.
Charmaine had calmed down a little, “It’s not your fault.”
Hours passed but the three guys hadn’t come back. Kevin turned his face and looked at Charmaine, “Can I ask why you won’t go out with me?”
Charmaine knew the reason was because of Raymond, that was the only explanation she could come up with, “Raymond and I were in a relationship for many years. Years ago he proposed to me then he broke up with me, then he was on a coma. When I met back up with him we got back together again then he proposed to me again,” Charmaine could feel tears welling in her eyes, “then he broke up with me again. I just can’t…”
“I understand, but if you don’t give others or yourself another chance then you will never know who the right guy is,” Kevin looked in her eyes, “I’m the right guy for you, I know it. I will treat you right and I would never leave you like how Raymond did,” Kevin assured Charmaine.
Charmaine didn’t know how to react to his words but this wasn’t the time for this conversation seeing that they were being held hostage, “We’ll worry about that later.”
Kevin knew he had to give some time to Charmaine, “I will wait for your answer, not matter how long you take, I will wait for you.”

*Tower General Managers Office, 10:11am*
Tavia had a day off work so she and Moses decided to clear things out with Jessica. Without even knocking on Jessica’s office door the both of them stormed into her office.
Jessica who was signing a whole pile of documents looked up at the both of them, she could sense by their facial expression that they weren’t please about something, “Yes?”
Moses was going to talk but Tavia jumped in before him, “Just because I don’t have a boyfriend and you do, doesn’t mean I need your pity on setting me up on a blind date.”
“What?” Jessica got up from her chair and asked confusingly.
Again, Moses wanted to say something but Tavia jumped in ahead of him, “Do you think I’m incapable of finding a boyfriend so you just decided to set me up with Moses.”
“I thought you guys liked each other, that’s why Ron and I thought we will give you guys the opportunity to get to know each other better,” Jessica said trying to defend herself.
“I don’t like Tavia,” Moses finally being able to say something.
Jessica actually felt kind of relieved hearing Moses not liking Tavia, “Oh…”
“Just because you’re happily going out…” Tavia began to say.
Jessica butted in, “Me going out with someone? I’m not going out with anyone.”
“Aren’t you going out with Ron?” Moses asked.
Jessica started laughing a little, “Me and Ron, I don’t think so.”
At this moment everyone seemed to be relieved. Jessica’s office fax started ringing followed by a fax being sent through, “Hold on.”
Jessica waited for the fax to come through; she picked up the piece of paper and looked at it. Her face had suddenly gone pale as she dropped the paper on the ground. Tavia picked up the piece of paper and saw a picture a black and white picture of Kevin and Charmaine tied up in the abandoned house.
The office phone started ringing but none of the sister budged. Moses picked up the phone, “Hello?”
A distorted voice started speaking over the phone, “I assumed you have received the fax of your CEO and Marketing Manager,” Moses heard the voice and quickly put it on speaker phone, “I want HK$100 Million, I will give you four days to prepare this money, then bring it up to China. I will give you further details towards that date. Do not call the police or these two will no see day light again.”
The three of them stood there in silence shocked from what was going on, “What do we do?” Jessica asked as she was so worried that she her mind could not think of anything.
“You have to call the police,” Tavia said.
“Didn’t you hear what they will do to Charmaine and Kevin, we can’t call and you better not say anything,” Jessica paced the room, “What do we do? Where are we going to get HK$100million from?”
At this point Moses seemed to be the only person who was clear in thinking, “We have to use the companies cash flow. If we don’t we won’t have enough time and money to save the both of them.”
“How are we going to move the cash without the others knowing,” Jessica asked.
Moses could see the fear in Jessica’s eyes, he held onto her hand comforting her, “Don’t worry, I will figure something out.”
Moses words helped a little. Jessica nodded her head assuring Moses.
Moses turned to Tavia, “Tavia, you can’t tell anyone not even Myolie and especially Ron.”
Tavia nodded her head, “I promise.”
*Tower Lunch Room, 10:21pm*
Jessica and Moses stay at the office till late trying to figure ways to move cash flow of Tower in order to save Kevin and Charmaine without people knowing. Jessica who was usually smart, strong and logical couldn’t think of anything, the only thoughts in her head were whether Charmaine would be alright, she’d already lost one sister she couldn’t afford loosing another sister.
Jessica walked into the lunchroom to get some coffee; she stood there with her mug staring into space while she poured boiling water in the mug. Little did she know that the water overflowed and boiling water poured all over her hand, “Ouch!” she quickly pulled her hand away.
Moses saw and ran towards her and grabbed her hand, he turned on the tap with cold water and placed Jessica’s hand under the water, “It will feel better after you run your hand under cold water.” Moses could see the how worried Jessica was, “It’s going to be alright, I will help you not matter what.”
Tears suddenly came flowing down from Jessica’s eyes, the more she thought about what Charmaine was going through the more she sobbed. Moses hugged Jessica and held onto her, “Don’t worry, she’ll be fine.”
Jessica put her hands around Moses and cried on his shoulder, “She must be going through so much and I can’t even do anything about it.”
Raymond who was patrolling the building at night walked pass the lunchroom and heard crying. He stopped by the door and listened in.
“Out of the three of us, Charmaine has always bad situations happen to her,” Jessica said as she wept in Moses embrace, “She thinks that she was the one who lead to Linda’s death, then when she finally met Raymond things turned around for her. Because of him her life turned around, but then he left her. When they finally met back up five years later, she found out that he was in a coma and lost his memory. They got back together and are about to get married, then he breaks up with her again leaving her in the most down state ever.”
Raymond stood by the lunchroom door listening to every word Jessica was saying. He hated himself so much for making Charmaine go through all that pain.
“And now Charmaine is kidnapped,” Jessica cried harder just by saying those words.
Raymond stepped back shocked, “She’s been kidnapped?”
