Myolie was completely lost and worried; she still thought that Kevin was being kidnapped. She didn’t know what to do and took Tavia’s suggestion to find Ron. Myolie waited outside the police station for Ron.
Ron who had no idea about the kidnap walked out of the station, he saw Myolie waiting near her car. He really didn’t want to deal with her at the moment but there was no other exit to the police station. Ron walked closer and closer towards Myolie, he noticed something different and weird about her. He looked at her closely then realised that she was crying.
“Is there something wrong?”
Myolie was short on words, stared at Ron in tears, “I… I…” she couldn’t talk but cried louder.
Ron stood next to her and put his hand around her shoulder, Myolie started weeping harder. She leaned Ron’s shoulder and actually felt quite comforted by him.

*Hospital, 8:49pm*
Kevin and Charmaine had arrived back in Hong Kong and the both of them were admitted to hospital straight away. Jessica and Tavia were both in Charmaine’s hospital room and sat on the chair at the side of her bed waiting for Charmaine to wake up.
Charmaine slowly opened her eyes and saw Tavia and Jessica sitting by her side, “Hey.”
Jessica and Tavia stood up and helped Charmaine sit up right, “You feeling better?” Jessica asked.
“Had a good sleep, something I couldn’t really do when I was being tied up,” Charmaine joked.
Jessica laughed, “I’m glad you ok now and I see things have turned out well with you and Kevin.”
Tavia stood there not saying a word; she was the only one who knew what was going on with Raymond.
Charmaine smiled a little, “Where is he?”
“You miss him already?” Jessica teased Charmaine, “His in room 301A.”
Charmaine looked up at Tavia who was just standing there, “Thankyou both for saving me.”
Tavia sat on the bed beside her, “You’re our sister, of course we will save you.”
Charmaine’s stomach started rumbling, “Haven’t ate in days.”
“I’ll buy you something from the canteen,” Jessica walked outside and saw Moses sitting on the chairs by the room. She walked up to him, “Thankyou Moses, if you weren’t here I really wouldn’t of known what to do.”
Moses stood up and smiled, “Your problem is my problem now.”
Jessica could feel those feelings coming back, the past week Moses took great care of her; she’d never met a man so caring towards her.
“I just want to clarify something, I like you not your sister,” Moses took out the scarf that he knitted and wrapped it around Jessica’s neck, “I hope you will like it.”
Jessica had a sweet feeling inside of her, she leaned forward and kissed Moses on the cheek, “I love it.”
A smile appeared on Moses face, he held onto her hand and hugged her, “I should probably officially ask you in case I make some sort of mistake but does this mean that you will go out with me?”
“No,” Jessica said in a serious tone.
Moses pulled away with a shocked face, “What?”
Jessica laughed seeing Moses reaction, “I was joking.”
Moses started laughing as well and pulled Jessica close to him, hugging her tightly.
*Hospital Room 301A, 9:31pm*
Myolie had rushed to the hospital with Ron. She ran into Kevin’s room and saw his face all bruised and bandages all over him.
“Dai Gor, you scared me,” Myolie slapped Kevin on the arm.
“Ouch!” Kevin yelled, “Can you not see I’m hurt?”
Myolie laughed a little, “Yeh I did, what’s your point?”
Although in pain from Myolie’s slap, Kevin laughed as well, “How was Paris?”
“Been there so many times, I’m kind of sick of it,” Myolie said as she got a glass of water for Kevin.
Ron was standing by the door watching them two, he watched Myolie and saw something different about her, a more caring Myolie. He walked up to her, “Hey, I’m going to get going now.”
“Can you take my sister home?” Kevin asked Ron.
“Sure.”
“I’ll come back tomorrow,” Myolie left with Ron.
Kevin lay on his bed after Myolie and Ron left, moments later he heard a knocking on the door, “Come in.”
Charmaine walked inside, Kevin saw her and sat up right fast that he hit his arm on the side of the bed, “Ahh!”
Charmaine saw and ran up to him helping him sit better, she saw Kevin all injured because of her which made her feel so guilty, “Sorry.”
“Why are you saying sorry?” Kevin asked.
“You were trying to protect me and this is how you ended up.”
Kevin held onto Charmaine’s hand, “I promised myself that I wouldn’t let anything happen to you.”
Charmaine smiled, “Get some rest, I’ll see you tomorrow.”
Sunny watched as Charmaine walked out of Kevin’s room. He knocked on Kevin’s door.
Kevin was sitting on his bed reading a newspaper, “Come in.”
Sunny walked in with a grin on his face, “Mr. Cheng how are you feeling?”
Kevin put the paper down and stood up off his bed, “What does it look like?”
“I see things are now well with you and Charmaine,” Sunny continued with the same grin on his face and clapped his hands, “That was one great plan of yours.”
“What was my plan?” Kevin asked confused to what Sunny was talking about.
“To kidnap yourself and Charmaine.”
Kevin was fuming with anger, “You idiot! I told you to attack us not abduct us. Look what you did to me.”
Sunny could tell by Kevin’s face that he was in huge trouble, “I thought that’s what you told me to do. Maybe my mistake was a good thing, it got you Charmaine.”
Kevin clenched his fist and swung it at Sunny but stopped right next to his face. He patted Sunny on the shoulder and laughed, “Although a mistake but I got what I wanted and that’s all it matters.”
Sunny was relieved knowing Kevin wasn’t going to do anything to him. Kevin sat back on his bed, “What about the money?”
“I have the money and it will be returned to you when you want it.”
“Good, you will get the amount you deserve,” Kevin started reading the paper again.
*Hospital, 11:21am*
Kevin knocked on Charmaine’s door and walked inside to see her still packing her things, “Ready to leave?”
“I’ve just got a few more things to pack away,” Charmaine folded her clothes and placed them into her bag.
Kevin laughed seeing how much stuff she had, “You were here for only a few days and it looked like you brought your whole wardrobe to the hospital.”
Charmaine slapped Kevin on the arm, “Don’t be mean, Dai Ga Jie packed these for me.”
Kevin suddenly remembered he had something to do, “I’ll be right back.”
Raymond sat in Dr. Ching’s office waiting for the reports for his CT scan. Dr. Ching walked inside and sat across from Raymond.
“How is it?” Raymond asked knowing that his brain tumour could only get worse.
Dr. Ching showed Raymond the films, “Well right now it hasn’t expanded much. Does your head still hurt?”
“At times, but recently it has hurt more frequently and more painful,” Raymond explained to Dr. Ching.
Dr. Ching sighed, “It’s a side effect to the tumour.”
Raymond again wanted to know ho long he had left to live, its been a few months sine he found out, “Dr. Ching, my conditions will get worse and eventually I will die right?”
“I’m sorry Raymond, unless a miracle happens all I can do is just prescribe the medication to secure the pain.”
Raymond walked out of Dr. Ching’s room and headed towards the waiting room to pick up his medication.
Kevin watched Raymond turn the corner and had a smirk to his face. He knocked on Dr. Ching’s door and walked inside. He sat in the chair that Raymond sat in. Kevin reached in his suit pocket and pulled out a cheque and placed it on the desk in front of Dr. Ching.
“Thank you Mr. Cheng,” Dr. Ching picked up the cheque with a grin to his face. “Raymond Lam would have never guessed that his brain tumour was just a set up by you.”
Kevin had a sly smile to his face and laughed a little, “With him out of the way, I can get what I want,” Kevin sat back on the chair, “and I did get what I want.”

thanks for reading and all the comments... well... alot of things have uncovered.. the kidnap was a mistake by Sunny... Raymond actually doesnt have a brain tumour.. all this time it was Kevin who was behind this... this guy is seriously twisted... but on the bright side.. Raymond will live... unless Kevin decides that Raymond is still a threat and take matters into his own hands... i feel so sorry for Charmaine and Raymond.. it was because of Kevin they broke up.. tsk tsk..
