Charmaine was already up due her still being in the US time zone. She walked around the apartment quite bored with nothing to do and didn’t really want to wake up her sisters. She switched on the TV and they were teaching people how to do Yoga.
“Hmm… lets try this out,” Charmaine stood in front of the TV copying the people on TVB do yoga about five minutes later she stopped, “this is boring.”
Jessica was in her room sleeping but was woken up by a sudden phone call, she rolled over and picked up the phone, “Hello?”
Kevin was on the other side of the phone, “Jess, you’re going to Australia now.”
“Who’s this?” Jessica asked half asleep.
“I’ve already booked your ticket so you have to be at the airport in an hour to check in.”
“Sure,” Jessica said hanging up her phone. Ten minutes later Jessica suddenly jumped up, “I have to go to the airport,” she jumped out of bed and took out her passport and threw two sets of clothes in a bag and ran out of her room.
Charmaine who was walking around in circles bored out of her brains saw Jessica rushing around the house trying to put her shoes on while brushing her teeth, “Dai Ga Jie, do you want to have breakfast?”
“Can’t, I’ll see you later,” Jessica grabbed her bag and ran out of the apartment.
Charmaine stood there confused then continued to walk around the apartment, she opened Tavia’s door slightly and saw that Tavia was completely asleep, she walked up to her bed, “Hey, get up, lets have breakfast.”
Tavia had no reaction. She was too deep in her sleep and nothing could wake her up. Charmaine walked back outside and grabbed her phone and left the apartment.

*Breakfast Place, 6:45am*
Charmaine walked inside the breakfast place which was quite packed full of people. She sat down with a cup of tea and a muffin and began eating. Halfway of her meal she heard a familiar voice ordering food behind her.
“I want a cup of tea and a muffin thanks.”
Charmaine turned around and saw it was Raymond. She quickly turned back around with her head down. Raymond took his food and walked straight pass her sitting in directly opposite of her. Charmaine still had her head down but kept looking at him.
Raymond took out a newspaper and began eating and reading not even noticing Charmaine was there. Charmaine kept looking at him, she didn’t know why but she could see something different about him something that was different to before. Raymond finished his meal and put down the paper and looked straight in Charmaine’s direction.
Raymond stood up and walked in her direction, Charmaine’s heart began beating very fast. She wasn’t sure what to say to him once he approached her. Charmaine watched Raymond walk closer and closer in her direction, she was about to say something to him but Raymond didn’t stop and walked straight pass her out of the store.
Charmaine ran out of the store after Raymond but by the time she got outside Raymond was no where to be seen. A tear dropped from her eye as she wondered pointlessly around the street, “How can he be like that?” she sat on a bench in the park, tears began uncontrollably falling from her eyes. “Forget about him. Just forget about him.”

*Tower Shopping Centre, 7:30am*
Raymond walked into the security department and sat at his chair waiting for everyone else to arrive. He took out a piece of blank paper and began drawing a layout of a house and its interior design, he wasn’t sure why but he’d find that he really enjoyed drawing and designing the inside of a house.
Sammul walked into the control room and saw Raymond sitting by himself drawing, he walked up to him and took out a necklace with a ring attached to it and handed it to Raymond, “Is this yours?”
Raymond was a very anti social person, if he didn’t have to he wouldn’t talk to anyone. He looked up and saw Sammul holding onto the ring, immediately he grabbed the ring off of Sammul. He took the ring and held it tightly in his hand, he wasn’t sure why but he felt really attached to the ring.
“Your welcome,” Sammul said loudly and sarcastically.
Raymond sat back down on his chair and put the necklace with the ring on it around his neck and continued drawing.
Sammul glared at Raymond and shook his head, he turned to Kenneth and talked really loudly, “That guy has serious problems, no wonder no one likes him.”
Raymond didn’t budge and continued drawing.
“I mean what kind of normal person is like that, not only is he rude, he is also arrogant and so full of himself, no wonder his girlfriend left him,” Sammul said laughing out loud.
“How do you know his girlfriend left him?” Kenneth asked confused.
“Isn’t it obvious? He carries a ring around his neck and clearly that’s an engagement ring. Since he is the on carrying it wouldn’t that mean his girlfriend left him. What’s the bet it was for another guy?” Sammul said as he walked closer to Raymond.
Raymond had a very calm face and just sat at his seat still drawing, he suddenly stopped and stood up putting his hat on and walking out the control room. He walked inside the bathroom and took out the ring from around his neck, “Did I really have a girlfriend that left me?” Raymond hit his forehead, “Come on, why can’t you remember what happened?”

*Kingswood Apartment, 9:14am*
Charmaine strolled into the apartment; her eyes were completely red from crying. Tavia had just woken up and walked out of her room, “Morning,” she looked closely at Charmaine seeing her eyes all red, “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine,” Charmaine lied.
“Were you just crying?” Tavia asked quite concerned.
Charmaine gave a little fake laugh, “No, what makes you think that?”
Tavia walked up really close to Charmaine looking straight into her eyes, “Your eyes are all red.”
“Well that’s because I didn’t sleep well,” Charmaine quickly changed the topic, “Going to work today?”
“I have a day off, I swapped shifts with someone. Are you sure you alright?” Tavia asked again.
“I’m fine, gees you sound like dai ga jie now?” Charmaine blurted out.
Tavia’s face had gone completely black, “Don’t compare me with her, do you know what she did?”
“Actually I don’t really want to know nor do I care,” Charmaine said very straightforwardly.
“But she’s so unreasonable,” Tavia began to say.
“Seriously I don’t care about your little fight with her, you two should just get over it,” Charmaine said annoyed. She’d never like intervening in other peoples business mainly because she didn’t really care. “I’ll be in my room.”
Tavia always knew her sister was like that so she didn’t take it to heart, she walked halfway to the kitchen then stoped and turned around and knocked on Charmaine’s door. Tavia opened the door slightly and peeped inside with a cheesy grin on her face.
“What do you want Tavia?” Charmaine asked picking out her clothes for the interview.
“Where you going?”
“I have an interview at Tower Shopping Centre,” Charmaine said taking out a business suit.
“What position are you interviewing for?” Tavia asked.
Charmaine looked up at her and thought about it, “I don’t know. Dai Ga Jie never told me.”
Tavia rolled her eyes, “I knew it… should have guessed that she would force you work there.”
“She didn’t force me, well not really. She just got me the interview and even though I’m not interested I’ll go just for the sake of going,” Charmaine said brushing her hair.
“I’m coming with you, I’ll back you up if they force the job onto you because I know since she got you the interview they would most likely be forced to give you a position,” Tavia said.
Charmaine turned around and gave a death stare to Tavia, “So your saying without Dai Ga Jie’s help I can’t get a job. So my MBA and PHD are no use?”
Tavia put her cheeky grin on again, “Your going to be late if we don’t leave now.”

*Tower Shopping Centre, 10:15am*
Charmaine looked at her watch, she had fifteen minutes before the interview started, “I’ll be off, call you when I’m done.” Charmaine waved her good byes to Tavia and strolled over to the elevator. She pressed the up button and waited for a while. The doors opened and Charmaine stepped inside with Kevin following in behind her. She browsed through the levels having no idea where she was meant to be going. Kevin could see her struggling.
“Need any help?”
