Moses and Jessica got off the plane back from their honeymoon in Hawaii. They both pushed their trolley full of luggage’s of out of the airport. Everyone was staring at their matching couples Hawaiian outfit.
Jessica switched her phone on then suddenly realised that she hadn’t actually told any of her sisters that she was gone or that she was married, “I just realised that I didn’t tell any of my sisters about us getting married.”
“Why not?” Moses asked as he put there stuff in the boot of the taxi.
“I guess I just forgot,” Jessica thought for a while, “but how come they didn’t call me to see where I was or why all the stuff in my room is missing. I understand if Tavia didn’t call but I know Charmaine will defiantly call.”
Moses kept loading their luggage’s while he listened to Jessica ramble, “We’ll go back to your apartment and see what’s going on then.

*Kingswood Apartment, 10:56pm*
For the past weeks Charmaine had been at the hospital with Raymond, she took some time off work beside for looking after Raymond she still didn’t want to see Kevin. She spent most of her days with Raymond and the only time she came home was to get changed or take a shower. Tavia on the other hand was at work most of her days and when she came home she would just sleep. Because of the weird living habits for the past days neither of them noticed that Jessica was missing.
Charmaine came home from the hospital and sat on the couch a little tired. Tavia had just woken up from her sleep and sat on the couch next to Charmaine, “How’s Raymond?”
“His getting better,” Charmaine got up and walked to the kitchen, “The doctors said he should be able to be discharged from the hospital in a few days.”
Charmaine poured started pouring some juice into a glass when suddenly the lights had gone out, “What’s going on?”
Tavia got up and tried switching the light on but it didn’t work, “What did you do Yi Ga Jie?”
“I just poured some juice,” Charmaine said.
Tavia grabbed a torch from the cabinet, “I think the electricity just short circuited,” she walked to the main fuse box but everything was normal, she turned to Charmaine and shined the light in Charmaine’s face, “Did you forget to pay the electric bill?”
Charmaine grabbed the torch off Tavia and shined it back at her face, “I’m not responsible for that. Da Ga Jie pays for all that stuff.”
The both of them walked towards her room and knocked on her door but there was no answer, “Is she sleeping?” Tavia asked.
Charmaine shrugged her shoulders and opened the door slightly. The room was pitch black, “Da Ga Jie did you pay the electric bill?” Charmaine shined the torch in her room only to notice there was nothing inside besides for a bed.
Tavia walked inside shocked, “Where is everything?”
“Did we get robbed?” Charmaine asked shinning the torch at all corners of Jessica’s room, “But why would they just steal her stuff and not our stuff?”
Jessica and Moses walked in the pitch black apartment, the both saw Charmaine and Tavia in front of her room. She walked up to them and stood behind them, “What are you guys looking at?”
Charmaine and Tavia both jumped dropping the torch, “Ah!!”
“Where is all your stuff?” Charmaine asked picking up the torch.
“And why didn’t you pay the electric bill?” Tavia questioned.
Charmaine shone the light in Jessica’s eyes, both her and Tavia were waiting for an answer. Jessica gave cheeky grin, “I didn’t pay the electric bill because I was overseas on my honeymoon.”
“Oh… Honeymoon…” Charmaine and Tavia said very in sync. But it finally clicked they turned facing Jessica, “Honeymoon? As in where you go after you get married?”
Jessica still had her cheeky grin on her face, she held onto Moses hand and held it up showing the rings on their fingers, “We got married.”
“What?!” Tavia and Charmaine grabbed onto both their hands, “And you didn’t even bother informing us.”
Moses and Jessica stepped back seeing the sisters face turn into anger, “It’s not that we didn’t want to, it was more a spur of the moment thing,” Jessica explained.
Charmaine and Tavia stepped forward a little more making Jessica and Moses take another step back, “Your sister and I didn’t plan anything before hand,” Moses quickly said.
Charmaine and Tavia didn’t say a word and just stared, Moses and Jessica took another step back. Jessica took out some gifts she got for them and threw it in their direction, “Well, its getting late, I better get going,” she pulled on Moses and ran out of the apartment.
Moses and Jessica ran downstairs, “Man your sisters can be scary…”
Back at the apartment Tavia lit some candles and sat on the couch with a few blankets, “I guess it’s just me and you from now on.”
“I can’t believe that Da Ga jie got married like that,” Charmaine thought back to when they were discussing how Jessica being the oldest hadn’t married yet, “Do you think she did it because of what we talked about last time?”
Tavia shrugged her shoulders. Charmaine’s phone started ringing, she looked at the caller ID and it was Kevin. She held onto the phone as it rang in her hand.
“Aren’t you going to pick it up?” Tavia asked.
Charmaine shook her head and put the phone down. The phone stopped ringing and moments later Charmaine received a voice message. She listened to Kevin’s message he left.
“Charmaine, I know you’re anger at me because of what I did. I know you don’t want to listen to me but all I want to say is that I’m sorry. I took the wrong approach of asking you out but I just want to let you know it was only because I really, really like you. Haven’t heard from you or seen you for a long time, please call me. I really miss you.”
Tavia could tell it was Kevin from Charmaine’s expression, “What are you going to do about him? Did you tell him your back with Raymond?”
“I haven’t spoken to him since I found out…” Charmaine stopped talking, she knew she couldn’t tell Tavia about the kidnap being a fake or Kevin would be in serious trouble with the law and although she was angry at Kevin she still didn’t want him in trouble, “…found out that that my feelings for Raymond were much stronger.”
“Well I think you did the right thing.”
Charmaine knew she would be facing Kevin again in the next few days since she will be going back to work but for now she couldn’t worry about that at the moment.

*Hospital, 12:05pm*
Raymond sat on the hospital bed reading a book and waiting for Charmaine at the same time. Dr. Ching entered Raymond’s room and took his chart off his bed, “Raymond you’re looking better? How do you feel?”
“Could be better,” Raymond said casually, “How is my tumour?”
Charmaine had arrived at the hospital, she walked towards Raymond’s room and heard the conversation he was having with the doctor.
Dr. Ching sighed, “It’s not looking well. I recommend you to accomplish as many things you can before its too late.”
Raymond smiled, although he knew what he wanted to do but he knew he would never have the chance to accomplish this because he just thought it was too selfish of him.
“Well, good luck Raymond, see me anytime if you have problems,” Dr. Ching walked out of the room.
It was if Charmaine was in Raymond’s mind, she didn’t know why but she knew what Raymond wanted and knew why he wouldn’t complete what he wanted to do. She walked inside, “Hey…” she sat next to him on his bed and held his hand, “how you feeling?”
Raymond placed his hand on Charmaine’s hand, “the doctor said I’m much better and I can go home today.”
“I want you to stay at my apartment until you get better,” Charmaine suggested.
A smile appeared on his face, “Ok.”

*Kingswood Apartment, 3:16pm*
Charmaine opened the door to the apartment, she held onto Raymond on one side as he used a walking stick to gain balance on the other side. Charmaine put Raymond’s bags down on the couch, “I’ll get you something to drink,” and walked to the kitchen.
Raymond walked towards Charmaine’s room. It hadn’t changed since the last time he was here. He walked inside towards her desk, she suddenly saw the engagement ring sitting on her desk, he picked it up, “So this is where you’ve been,” he stared at the ring, he knew that there would be no chance for him to ask Charmaine to marry him again. Although that was what he really wanted to do but it would be selfish of him knowing he wouldn’t live long enough to take care of her and he couldn’t do that to her.
Charmaine walked in and saw Raymond looking at the ring; she stood next to him and took the ring off of him. She held the ring up and looked Raymond in the eyes smiling, “Will you marry me?”
