Kevin waited outside Charmaine's apartment in his car. he was waiting for her to come home so he could again try to explain everything to her. A while later he saw Raymond and Charmaine outside the apartment building hand in hand walking together happily.
"I need to get something, I'll be back soon," Charmaine said to Raymond.
"Ok, do you need me to come with you?"
Charmaine shook her head, "I'll only be a while."
"But i want to some with you," Raymond held onto Charmaine.
Charmaine giggled a little, "Fine," and walked off down the street together.
Kevin watched Charmaine with Raymond. His anger had suddenly turned into pain and sadness. He didn't know why he felt this way but he knew that he couldn't live without Charmaine.

*Kingswood Apartment, 4:30pm*
Raymond wondered around the apartment quite bored as he waited for Charmaine to come home. Raymond walked back into Charmiane’s room and decided to do some laundry for her since he had nothing better to do.
Jessica still had the key to the apartment, she opened the door and saw Raymond. Jessica still thought Charmaine was still going out with Kevin so it was a huge surprise and shock to see Raymond.
“What are you doing here?” she questioned him.
Raymond who was holding onto a basket full of his and Charmaine’s clothes didn’t know that Jessica didn’t about him getting back together with Charmaine, “I live here.”
“And why do you live here?” Jessica crossed her arms; the look on her face was actually quite frightening to Raymond. She moved closer to Raymond and glared at him, “I still haven’t got a response from you.”
Raymond felt so uncomfortable at the moment, he had only one wish that was for Charmaine to come home right now, “I… uh…”
Luckily to Raymond’s wish, Charmaine did come home just in time. Raymond looked over Jessica’s shoulder and mouthed the word, “help…”
Charmaine pulled Jessica away, “Hey sis… what’s up?” she held onto Raymond’s hand.
Jessica looked down at Charmaine holding onto Raymond’s hand, “Are you guys back together? What about Kevin?”
“I guess it just didn’t work out,” Charmaine still didn’t want anyone to find out about Kevin did.
Jessica was a bit iffy on Raymond because of him breaking up with Charmaine twice and both times it was just before they were going to get married, Jessica saw a shinny object on Charmaine’s finger, “And you’re going to get married? Again?”
Now Charmaine was getting a little scared, she and Raymond backed away a little, “We didn’t get married the first time or the second time so we’re hoping it will be third time lucky.”
Jessica took another step forward in front of Raymond, “You better not leave my sister this time.”
Raymond nodded his head, “I won’t this time, you have my word.”
Jessica turned around and left the apartment. Charmaine and Raymond looked at each other and smiled.
Charmaine saw Raymond carrying the laundry basket, “What are you doing?”
“I thought I might do some laundry for you,” Raymond held up the basket. He suddenly felt a gushing pain running threw his head. “Ahhhh!!!” he dropped the basket and clenched his head.
This was the first time Charmaine encountered Raymond’s headaches, she’d never seen him in such pain before. Tears automatically started to flow down her eyes seeing him like this, “Ray…”
Raymond reached out to his pocket and grabbed his medication and took two tablets. A few minutes later Raymond’s head stopped hurting and was back to normal, he saw Charmaine standing there crying. He walked up to her and held onto her, “Sorry to scare you like that.”
Charmaine wrapped her arms around him, crying on his shoulder, “I don’t know what I can do to help you.”
Raymond looked at Charmaine and wiped the tears off her cheek, “All you have to do is be with me,” he smiled and leaned forward kissing her softly.

*Jessica’s car, 5:46pm*
Although Jessica was happy that Charmaine had finally found the man she loves and though it was with Raymond who she wasn’t very happy with because he hurt her twice but as long as her sister was happy she would support her.
Jessica suddenly realised that she hadn’t seen Kevin for the pass couple of days, which wasn’t like him at all. She called Kevin on his mobile but no one answered. She waited at the lights and dialled his number again but it still flew to the voicemail. The Kevin that Jessica knew would never switch his phone off or disappear for days without notice, she turned the corner and headed towards Kevin’s house.

*Cheng Mansion, 6:15pm*
Jessica parked her car outside and ran the intercom. Moment’s later Kevin’s housekeeper saw it was Jessica through the monitor and let her in. Jessica walked inside just as Myolie came downstairs.
“Hey Jess,” Myolie looked a little unhappy.
“Is your brother home?”
Myolie pointed upstairs, “He hasn’t been out of his room in days. I know he and Charmaine broke up but I’ve told him many times that a forced relationship will never turn out good. Can you give him a chat?”
Jessica patted Myolie on the shoulder, “Sure.” Jessica walked up stairs and knocked on Kevin’s door but there was no answer, she slowly opened the door and peaked inside. The room was dark, she opened the door a little more and walked inside. She had never seen Kevin’s room so messy, there was clothes everywhere, beer cans all over the floor.
She browsed around the room and saw Kevin lying on the floor surrounded with beer cans and dirty clothes covering him. Jessica walked up to Kevin, “What happened to you?”
Kevin could barely open his eyes, “What do you want?”
Jessica tried to pull Kevin up, “Get up! This isn’t the Kevin I know.”
Kevin pushed Jessica away and dug his head in his dirty clothes. Jessica stood up and opened the curtains, “Kevin Cheng, just because you broke up with my sister it isn’t the end of the world.”
“She hates me,” Kevin mumbled.
“I’m sure she doesn’t hate you,” Jessica tried to comfort Kevin, “Charmaine and Raymond have been through so much, sometimes you just can’t control who you truly love.”
Jessica lifted the clothes off Kevin’s face, for the first time she saw him crying, “I love her, I can’t live without her. Why did she have to choose Raymond over me, I’m so much better than him.”
“But look at you now, how do you expect Charmaine to consider you again with you looking like this,” Jessica pulled Kevin up, “what happened to the smart sophisticated Kevin, the guy who always has something up his sleeve to solve problems,” Jessica stood up, “You have to let her go Kevin,” and left his room.
Kevin didn’t hear a word Jessica said, for some reason Kevin had found it difficult to control his emotions, before he was quite calm in planning to get Charmaine back but within a split second he had totally changed. All he felt was sadness. Once again Kevin’s emotions had changed again, the sadness in him was gone and now could only feel fury.

*Tower Marketing Managers Office, 10:00am*
Kevin walked into the marketing department holding onto a rose. He saw through Charmaine’s office window that she was busy doing research. He knocked on her door and waited for her to answer.
“Come in,” Charmaine said out loud as she flipped through some drafting for this months catalogues.
Kevin walked up to Charmaine and placed the rose on her desk. Charmaine looked up and saw it was Kevin, she put sighed and put down her work, “Kevin…”
Before she could say anything Kevin interrupted her, “Let me talk first. I know what I did in the past was wrong, really, really wrong and I am very sorry. I know I used the wrong method to gain your trust for you to go out with me and again I’m very sorry.” Kevin picked the rose and handed it to Charmaine, “I know you’re back with Raymond now and I respect that you love him the most. I don’t hope that you will forgive me but I do wish you will accept my apology,” Kevin waited for an answer hoping Charmaine would take the rose.
Charmaine could see Kevin’s desperation for forgiveness; although she was still angry but she also felt bad for some odd reason, she reached out and took the rose. Kevin was relieved, “Thank you.”
He turned around and left her office with a smirk on his face. He stood by the elevator still having that smirk on his face. Kevin knew exactly the first thing he had to do was to get Charmaine to forgive him which was easy, “That was easy,” once again all he had to do was gain control of the situation.
