“What? How?” Kevin exclaimed with fury, “How can Dr. Ching let them find out.”
“Dr. Ching is on vacation so another doctor filled in for him. I guess we just never calculated that Raymond would be admitted to hospital at the same time Dr. Ching is on vacation,” Sunny explained to Kevin.
“When is Dr. Ching returning from his vacation?” Kevin asked.
“In these two days I think.”
“I guess we’ll pay him a visit then,” Kevin hung up the phone still angry from not only his plan being ruined but mostly he could just imagine how happy Charmaine and Raymond would be at this moment but he was determined that this moment would not last long for them.

*Kingswood Apartment, 9:48pm*
Raymond had been discharged out of the hospital. He and Charmaine stepped outside the elevator and stood in front of the apartment.
“So I’m assuming we’re going to live here now that we are married,” Raymond placed his hands on Charmaine’s waist.
“Your things are here anyway plus I need to look after Tavia. Do you not want to live here with Tavia?” Charmaine asked.
Raymond thought for a while, “Hmm…”
“I can’t leave my sister to live alone,” Charmaine added.
Raymond smiled, “Course we can’t let her live by herself, she’s my sister now too.”
Charmaine just loved how Raymond was so caring no only to herself but her family; she put her arms around Raymond, “Your such a great husband.”
“I know I am,” Raymond boasted jokingly.
Charmaine poked her tongue out at him. Raymond pulled her closer and kissed her passionately. Charmaine couldn’t help but smile; she held onto Raymond and kissed him back. Raymond reached for the door and turned the know walking in the apartment as he and Charmaine were still kissing.
The both of them stopped kissing when hearing someone clear their throat; Charmaine and Raymond looked up and saw Jessica and Moses standing across from them.
Raymond and Charmaine stood quietly apart from each other, quite embarrassed to what just happened. But then again they are married now so there was nothing to be ashamed of. Raymond held onto Charmaine’s hand and sat down on the couch.
“Well we’re here to see if you guys need help with anything but it looks like we came at the wrong time,” Jessica said smiling.
“Well it is almost 10pm,” Charmaine looked at her watch, “But thanks for the thought.”
“We better going now, don’t really want to disturb you guys,” Jessica winked at Charmaine laughing.
Charmaine’s face slightly went red and threw a pillow at Jessica, “Bye.”
Jessica and Moses left the apartment leaving only Raymond and Charmaine alone in the apartment.
Raymond placed his hand on Charmaine’s hand, he knew that from this point onwards that everything in his life go run smoothly because he has her. He leaned forward and kissed her softly.
Charmaine felt as if she was dreaming, she and Raymond were finally together and nothing could break them apart again. She sat closer to him wrapping her arms around him, falling deep into his kiss. She suddenly pulled back away from him, “Did you pick up the medicine that Dr. Ma prescribed for you?”
“Yeh, its in your bag, you picked it up for me, remember?” Raymond laughed at how forgetful Charmaine was. He held her close and continued his kiss.
Charmaine closed her eyes feeling the sweet moment but pulled away again, “Did you contact your supervisor telling them that you can return to work?”
Raymond smiled, “I’ll call them tomorrow.”
“You have to remember to call them. Actually I’m going into work tomorrow to collect some files, do you want me to tell them for you?” Charmaine asked.
“I’ll just come with you,” Raymond said. He stared into Charmaine’s eyes and once again he leaned forward and kissed her.
Once again Charmaine pulled away, “When did we book the time to get your CT done? I don’t want to forget and you’ll probably forget too. Let me write it down,” Charmaine stood up but Raymond didn’t let go of her hand and pulled her back down to him.
Raymond’s face was only an inch away from Charmaine; he looked her in the eyes and smiled.
“Ray, let me write it down or we’ll forget.”
Raymond still didn’t let Charmaine go, but stared at her. Charmaine couldn’t help but move closer to Raymond, she leaned towards him and kissed him. Raymond held onto her promising himself that he would never let her go again.

*Phoenix Apartment, 10:38pm*
Moses sat on the bed reading a book as Jessica walked inside their room. She sat on the bed then got up again going back outside to check something. A few moments later she came back into the room.
“What’s wrong?” Moses asked putting his book down.
“Nothing, just checking something,” Jessica pulled their blanket over her.
“I was thinking that since we both have a day off tomorrow that we can go to the art gallery tomorrow,” Moses suggested as he turned the lights off and switched the lamp on.
“You should of told me earlier, I’ve got plans with Ron,” Jessica sat up, “We’re going rock climbing.”
Moses was starting to think that Jessica was spending way too much time with Ron, “Oh… going out with Ron again.”
Jessica could tell Moses was a little unhappy that she wasn’t going to go with him, she leaned on his arm making a cute face, “Are you angry that I’m ditching you for your brother.”
Moses put on a fake smile, “Not at all, you two enjoy yourselves,” He switched the lamp off and covered himself with the blanket and turned around with his back facing Jessica.
Jessica knew he was a little angry; after all it was quite obvious. She moved closer to Moses and tapped him on the shoulder. Moses ignored her and covered his shoulder with the blanket. Jessica rolled over onto her side of the bed, turned and looked at the back of Moses head and could just tell he wasn’t asleep. She rolled over again pulling the blanket off him. Moses tried to grab onto the blanket but Jessica had wrapped herself in the blanket leaving Moses with nothing.
He turned and looked at Jessica, then turned back around to the other side. After a while Moses started feeling cold, he could feel the night breeze kicking in and started shivering. Moses uncontrollably sneezed out loud; straight away Jessica covered him back up with the blanket.
Moses knew he couldn’t be angry with her for too long, he turned around facing Jessica and held her close to him, “You have to come with me to the art gallery next week then.”
Jessica nodded her head and kissed Moses goodnight.

*MongKok Police Station, 9:06am*
Ron had officially been transferred to another department but it was still within the same district, which meant he was still able to see Tavia quite often. Ron stepped into his new headquarters and saw everyone busily running around.
Ada Choi walked out of her office, “You must be Ron,” she shook his hand, “I’m Ada Choi, Chief Inspector of team B, great to have you on board with us.”
“Thank you madam.”
“You’re a potential inspector which means that you have one more exam before being officially promoted right?” Ada asked.
“Yes Madam.”
Ada laughed a little seeing how stiff Ron was, “Take it easy, for now just get to know the team and after I may have a task for you to do.”
Although being a potential inspector which was a higher rank than most of the others in his team but he was the least experienced one there and felt quite lost at the same time because the way they functioned was totally different to when he was a uniformed officer.
Lunchtime came, he wondered outside by himself and saw Tavia walking into the canteen, a smiled automatically appeared on his face as he ran up to her.
He tapped her on the shoulder, “Hi.”
Tavia was a little startled seeing Ron, “Hi.”
Ron could tell that Tavia was keeping her distance from him, “Is something wrong?”
Tavia wasn’t sure where their relationship stood at the moment and she couldn’t help but ask, “So where are we now?”
“At the police station,” Ron answered on a literal bases.
“I meant us… where are we?” Tavia hoping she would hear the right answer.
“Huh?” Ron thought it was pretty clear where relationship was, “Aren’t we going out now?”
Tavia tried hard to hide her smile, “Oh… ok.”
Ron shook his head and laughed, “Your funny,” he held onto her hand.

*Tower marketing Managers Office, 12:18pm*
Charmaine had come back to the office to grab some files that she needed. She stepped out of her office and walked towards the elevator. The doors open and Kevin was standing inside.
“Hi,” Kevin smiled happy to see Charmaine.
Although Charmaine had accepted his apology but she still couldn’t get over what he did. She stepped in the elevator next to him.
“How is Raymond?” Kevin asked trying to sound concern as well as nice.
“He’s well,” Charmaine answered.
“That’s good then.”
The elevator door opened and Charmaine walked out as Kevin followed behind her. He saw Raymond waiting near the entrance for Charmaine.
“Got everything?” Raymond asked Charmaine.
Charmaine nodded her head, “Can we go?”
Raymond helped Charmaine carry her stuff and held onto her hand and walked out of Tower.
Kevin watched them together, although he knew they were married but that wasn’t going to stop him getting Charmaine back. The more he thought about it the more angry her got, not only did he lose his love but he lost to Raymond someone he thought he had beaten.
He heard his phone ringing, “Hello.”
“Mr. Cheng, Dr. Ching just came back from his vacation,” Sunny said.
“Good,” Kevin hung up the phone and headed to the car park.

Thanks for reading!! Jessica once again ditched Moses to hand out with Ron... and Moses got angry..poor him.. Raymond and Charmaine fighting all obstacles and finally being together.. or will it be that easy??
