Myolie waited by the pier for Ron to appear. Moments later Ron arrived, “Hey.”
With a swift movement Myolie raised her hand and slapped Ron across the face. Ron touched his face shocked and very unexpected, “What was that for?” he exclaimed.
“That was for being an idiot, “Myolie slapped Ron again, “and this is for being mean to my best friend.”
Myolie raised her hand again to slap Ron but he jumped back, “Stop slapping me. I don’t even know what you’re talking about.”
“Sure you don’t know what I’m talking about,” Myolie got even more angry at Ron for not knowing why he was wrong, “Are you really that stupid for now knowing why Tavia is angry with you.”
Ron knew the reason why Tavia was angry, he stood in front of Myolie not answering her. Myolie got had never been ignored before, she lifted her handbag and start hitting Ron with it, “Your so stupid…”
Myolie kept hitting Ron with her handbag. Ron covered his face trying to block Myolie’s handbag. He finally had enough, “Stop hitting me!” with a swift movement he pushed away Myolie’s handbag, however she didn’t grip her bag properly and it flew into the sea.
“Look what you’ve done,” she pulled on Ron’s shirt, “get it for me.”
Ron brushed Myolie’s hand away, “If it wasn’t because you were hitting me for no reason your bag wouldn’t of ended up in the water. Its not my fault,” Ron turned around about to leave but Myolie pulled him back.
“Get it for me!” Myolie was really anxious to get her bag back, “Please… get it for me.”
Ron thought about it and put on a cheesy smile, “No!” and turned around leaving.
“Fine!” Myolie tried reaching for the bad but it floated further away, she stood up but caught off balance and fell into the sea.
Ron heard the splash, without thinking he jumped into the water after Myolie. he swam towards her and pulled her back to shore. Myolie pointed at her bag, “Get my bag…”
Ron gave in and swam after her bag. He swam back to shore and gave Myolie her bag, “Here.”
Myolie grabbed her bag and took out her wallet with a photo inside of a little girl with Myolie, “Lucky the picture is ok.”
Ron looked over, “Who’s that?”
Myolie smiled and showed Ron, “That’s my daughter.”
“Your daughter?” Ron seemed confused he never knew that Myolie had a kid.
“Well not my real daughter. She’s just a little girl who I take care of, you know, send money, food and give her education.”
Ron glanced at Myolie and smiled. He never thought she would cherish something like that; it just didn’t fit her character so he decided to take her advice and apologies to Tavia.

*Kingswood Apartment, 7:09pm*
Charmaine stood at the front door, she knew what she was about to do would hurt Raymond but for his own safety and to prove his innocence she had no other choice. She opened the door to see Raymond sitting on the couch.
Raymond jumped up and ran up to her, “Where have you been? I’ve been calling you for the last two days.”
Charmaine didn’t even look at him and went straight into their room. She grabbed out a suitcase and started packing her clothes inside. Raymond ran in after her and saw her packing.
He grabbed her arm and turned her around, “I didn’t do it. I didn’t give Sammul the cheque, you have to trust me.”
Charmaine swung Raymond’s arm away and continued packing. Raymond just stood there watching her; he didn’t know what he could do so she would believe him. Charmaine finished packing and turned around wanting to leave but Raymond stood in front of her blocking her way.
She had a cold and bitter look to her face, she didn’t say a word but glared at Raymond.
Raymond clenched onto her arm, “Charmaine, I didn’t do it… Why don’t you believe me?”
Charmaine pushed Raymond’s hands away and walked out of the apartment into the elevator. Raymond chased out after her but the elevator door had closed. He looked around and took the stairs, running as fast as his legs could take him. Raymond reached the downstairs lobby just as Charmaine walked out of the building.
“Charmaine!” Raymond shouted as he ran after her, he grabbed onto her hand and held her back, “Don’t go. You have to trust me.”
Charmaine turned around, “How can I trust you when there is proof, I’m disappointed in you Raymond. I can’t be with someone who is like that.”
Raymond could feel tears in his eyes, it killed him that she doesn’t trust him, “You have to trust me… Please…”
Kevin who was sitting in his car outside of the building saw Charmaine struggling to release herself from Raymond’s grasp. He jumped out of the car and ran up to Raymond pushing him away from Charmaine.
Raymond looked at Kevin then looked at Charmaine slightly confused, “What’s going on?”
Kevin held onto Charmaine’s hand, “Leave her alone, she doesn’t want to see you.”
Kevin pulled on Charmaine and walked towards the car. Raymond didn’t know what was going on, he didn’t understand why Charmaine went back with Kevin. He ran up to her and grabbed her hand stopping her from walking.
Charmaine turned around to Raymond, he looked in her eyes, “Charmaine, are you really going to leave with him?”
It was killing Charmaine inside seeing Raymond like this but she had no other choice, she released herself from him, “It’s over between us.”
She turned away from Raymond and sat in Kevin’s car as he started driving off. A tear fell from Raymond’s eye as he chased after Kevin’s car down the street, “Charmaine! Charmaine!” he kept shouting.
Charmaine really wanted to turn back but she knew she couldn’t, she kept a straight face. Kevin looked over at Charmaine to see if she made any movement, he smiled and held onto her hand as he looked in the rear mirror at Raymond’s image getting smaller and smaller.

*Cheng Mansion, 8:42pm*
Charmaine entered Kevin’s mansion, she didn’t know how long she would be staying here for but the shorter the time the better. Kevin walked in behind he carrying her luggage.
Kevin handed her luggage to one of his housekeepers, “I’ll show you your room.”
Kevin led Charmaine upstairs and showed her to a guest room, he knew that until Raymond and her divorces he didn’t want to force anything on her, “If you need anything just tell the housekeepers.”
Charmaine smiled, “Everything is fine.”
Kevin and Charmaine walked out of the room passing Myolie’s room. Tavia who was still at Myolie’s house had just walked out of the room and saw Charmaine together with Kevin, “Yi Ga Jie?”
Tavia walked straight up to her, “What are you doing? Why are you here? And with him? What about Raymond?”
“Don’t talk about Raymond, I don’t even want to hear his name,” Charmaine said coldly.
“So you don’t trust him. He is your husband, you have to trust and have faith in him,” Tavia could feel anger slowing rising out of her.
“How can I trust him after what happened?”
Tavia eyed Kevin, “So are you back with him now?”
“Yes,” Charmaine said firmly, “I don’t need your approval with who I want to be with. It’s none of your business.”
Tavia shook her head in disgrace, “Fine, from now on whatever happens to you is none of my concern. I hope you are happy with Kevin,” she said sarcastically, “and I’m sure Raymond would be happy to not be with someone who doesn’t trust him.”

*Kingswood Apartment, 10:01pm*
Ron, Jessica and Moses were sitting in the living room after hearing the news about Charmaine leaving Raymond to be with Kevin.
“I can’t believe she would not trust Raymond, we all trust him,” Jessica said to Moses and Ron.
Ron was the only person who knew what was going on but he did say anything and nodded along. Tavia came back home and slammed the door.
“Yi Ga Jie is staying with Kevin,” Tavia informed everyone.
Ron knew that Charmaine was in and hopefully Charmaine would be successful in gathering evidence.
“I just can’t believe her,” Tavia through her bag on the ground, “How’s Raymond?”
“He’s been in there the whole night,” Moses answered.
Raymond sat on his and Charmaine's bed in the dark. He didn’t feel a thing anymore, he wasn’t angry or sad. It was as if everything in him had been drained out. He just couldn’t accept the fact that Charmaine didn’t trust him.

about three more chapters to go then i'm finished.. what will happen.. thanks for reading!! feel so bad for Raymond.. having no idea what is going on and Charmaine too being misunderstood by her sister.. but how will she and Ron save Raymond... and is Kevin going to do anything else...
