First Person

"Wake up dear cousin! It's time for your interview!" Ariel opened the blinds to Jesies room, the sun rays hit Jesie in every direction, so she pulled the covers over her head, she let out some kind of grunt in annoyance, Ariel nodded and walked to the foot of Jesie's bed and yanked off the covers.
"Not today missy, you better get your little but to that job interview pronto!"
Ariel walked out of the room to finish up breakfast as soon as she saw some movement come from the motionless Jesie. Lazily Jesie dragged her self to the restroom with her head down, apperantly not taking notice that the restroom door was closed.
"OW!" she held on to her head still half asleep and whined some more
"What are you doing up there Jesie?" Ariel yelled out from the kitchen
"very little Ariel!" she yelled back "Why me budda? Why today? Its a saturday for crying out loud" she walked into the restroom and started the shower "would you mind telling me now why I had to be stuck living with the bossiest cousin alive?"
After that shower Jesie picked out her clothes got dressed and took one last good look in the mirror before heading downstairs.
She sighed "ahe as always... this is as good as its gonna get..."
She made her way down the stairs and into the kitchen stumbling upon entering
"Woah, gotta lay of the chocolate before I go to sleep" she said to her self
"One of these days you going to get seriously hurt," Ariel said stuffing a piece of bread in her mouth
"I know, I'm just waiting for the day it actually happens" Jesie replied sarcastically taking a piece of bread from the plate "So are you ready for the interview?" Ariel, the persistent person she was had been preping Jesie for possible questions, Jesie was taking a job interview for an office assistant, doing some filing some typing here and there, answering phone calls, taking message ect. the basic office job. The only reason she was going to this job interview was because she needed something to do now that she was no longer in school.
"Onnie, will you stop nagging me? I think I can handle this, you've preped me enough, I mean worse that can happen is-"
"DONT jinx it!" Ariel interrupted "Just try not to screw things up, arachi?"
"Araso Araso," Jesie said "let me remind you onnie that it's not my fault that things get messed up, its my bad luck"
"Yeah yeah, now hury up and go!" Ariel said resuming to cleaning the kitchen
Jesie jumped off the stool and fell all the way down, Ariel looked over the counter to her cousin
"You forgot to tie your shoes again didnt you?"
"Yeah..." she slowly got up and tied her shoes, shook it off, and walked to the door, before leaving she turned back to her cousin who was standing and observing her
"Ariel, today I want you to pray to budda that nothing unlucky happens to me! Pray that I get this job! and Pray that I somehow make it home in one piece!" and she marched off leaving Ariel chukling away.

Jesie greeted the day with her hair still wet at the tips as she tied it into something she like to call "speed-hair" she stood in front of a large building with a map in hand, "This seems to be the place..." she looked around trying to find someone who looked friendly enought to ask, giving up she just decides to walkin in anyway but is shortly stopped by the gum she had stepped on.
"You just couldnt leave me alone today..." she said taking a napkin out as she attempted to balance on one leg and scrape the gum off the other, slowly and slowly she was tilting so she began to hop, she grabbed onto the nearest thing, not taking notice of who or what it was.
"Ok come on, just a little more.... got it!" she finished putting her leg down allowing her self to balance again, she looked over to see what she had been holding onto
"Oh I am so sorr sir!" Jesie said bowing to the young man
"Quenchana" the guy said smiling at her, hey he's kinda cute she though
"Well then let me thank you for letting me use your arm to balance"
the youngman smiled again, Jesie did the same and she out streched her hand
"my name is Jesie, Kim Jesie"
"Cho Kyuhyun" he waved to her as he walked into the building she was looking at moments ago, Jesie looked at her watched and realized her interview was about to start in a couple of minuted an ran in the same direction that Kyuhyun had just headed to.
It took her perse a couple of clicks to get to the right floor, and a couple of knocks to get the correct room, until she made her way to the interviewers room. She stood in front of the door hesitating on whether to knock or wait till someone comes out, she lifted her hand ready to knock put she put it down everytime, "Okay Jesie pull yourself together common you got this!!" she straightens herself and lifts up her fist once again, but someone opens the door on her face causing her to fall... again.
"oww..." she said to herself slowly getting up, the person who opened the door was walking the other way so they didnt realize they had hit someone. Jesie checked her face in the mirror, there was a red mark on her forehead from the door, there was no time to put make up on it since the interview was in a matter of seconds, she straightens herself again ignoring the pain on her forehead. As she walks in the office ready with her hand extended to greet the interviewer her left heel breaks. She looks down to it "aish, why me?" she mutters
"Your funny, I like you already" the man said
Jesie took a seat when the man pointed to the vacated chair, and they stood quiet for a while, Jesie kept her focous on him as he typed some information in his computer, 'Mr. Kim GooSan' his desk name read
"So what is your name, young lady?" he asked
"huh?"
"Your name? You didnt state your name in your job application"
"Oh, jesongimnida, my name is Kim Jesie" she said bowing
"hehe I see." Mr. Kim GooSan kept a smile on his face the whole time of the interview, there was something about Jesie's spunk that made him take an interest in her, she had no experience what so ever in office work, nor did she know everything on computer filing, but he knew somewhere deep down she would fit in somehow. And just like that Jesie got the job.
"Jeongmal?" Jesie asked me Director excited about his decision
"neh," he replied
Jesie was ecstatic, she finally did something right with out messing it up. She got to even start today.
The director led her to the booth she was going to be working in, she had this amazed look on her face, seeing all her co-workers typing madly away, and it was interesting to her how every one was sectioned off in a little cubicle, small and comfy. She asituated her self and got comfortable in her chair, she looked down at her uneven heels and took them off
"aish, this is the last time you heels emberass me!" she hissed at them, and she placed them on her desk
"Hey there neighboor" called a voice, she turned her head to find the source, knocking her heels in the trash can ,Kyuhyun was standing outside her cubicle, well more like leaning holding a small stack of papers, with a smirk on his face.
"neighboors?" Jesie asked
he stood up straight and pointed to the cubicle directly opposite of hers "that cube over there is mine"
"Oh I see now" she smiled at him and he did the same
"good luck on your first day Jesie" he said walking back to his cubicle
"Thanks" Jesie turned back to her desk and took a seat, the phone began to ring, but it was one of those alien phones that had a million lines on it.
"Yoboseo?" she said picking up the phone, but it just kept rigning, Jesie hung it up and tried her best to make it stop ringing since she could feel she was getting some attention now.
"Shhhhh!!!!" she said to the phone, a few moments later it stopped ringing
"I need you to make 500 copies of this" Mr. Kim said handing Jesie a paper, the janitor came was walking by taking the trash out from all the cubicles.
"Yes Director, Ill get to it right away" she replied taking it, the phone rang once again and Jesies eyes crunched at the sound of it. But she just stood there with Mr. Kim
"Arent you gonna answer that?" he asked
the Janitor took Jesie's trash and dumped it
"Me, oh no way im not answering that thing again!" she said trying to play it off
Mr. Kim let out a chuckle as he walked away from her cube
"You dont know how to answer it do you" Kyuhyun peeked in on her when the Director was gone
"Not clue" Jesie answered running back to her desk, again trying to answer the phone
Kyuhyun took the phone from her desk and pressed the button that was shining blue
"Yoboseo?" he said "Neh, shes here, yes... yes ok Ill let her know" He hung up the phone and he noticed that she was starring at him, "The Noona from downstairs said you have a visitor" Kyuhyun said smiling at her before he walked back again to his cube.
Jesie was about to leave but then she remembered she had taken off her heels, she turned back to the table she put them on, but they were gone, she looked at the trash can, and it was empty.
Jesie stuck her head out of the cube to make sure no one was looking at her, she kept her gaze one way and walked the other way
"you know we need to stop meeting like this haha" a voice came from in front of her
"AH!" caught by surprise she fell once again
Kyuhyun was standing in front of her, so he knelt down to her level, as she was just sitting here trying to catch her breath, he looked down to her feet and he sighed and chuckled, "come here" she said helping her up. He took her to his cubicle and he pulled out a pair of slippers.
"here" he handed them to her
"What are these?"
"Those," he said pointing to the slippers "are my overtime shoes, when I'm here till late, these shoes," he points to the ones hes wearing "get very unconfrotable" he smiled at her once again before leaving her alone in his cube, Jesie didnt want to argue and just sliped on his slippers, ran down stairs only to find Ariel with a bag of lunch

"Onnie! What are you doing here?" Jesie asked
"I just wanted to bring you some lunch silly!! Ya listen Jesie, Im proud that you got the job, work hard ok? Aja Aja!!" Ariel said as Jesie took the tupperwear
"Gamsanida" Jesie said walking away
"That girl," Ariel said putting her hands on her waist "Shes getting there alright!"
Jesie was walking smoothly away when she fell as she missed the first step to the stairs
"I spoke to soon" Ariel said walking away
When Jesie walked back into the building, she got the memo that everyone whent out to lunch, she took this as a chance to make the copies for the director, she walks into the copy room
"Making copies shouldnt be too hard..." she examines the machine wondering where the paper is supposed to go finally she places the paper faced down on the glass part and shuts it
"ok, whew so far so good, copy copy, where is the copy button.... hmmmmm" she looks over all the buttons debating which one is the correct one "why does this seem like its in another language?" she complained not knowing what buttong to push, she pushed all of the buttons not sure if that was smart, but not all of the buttons were bound to work, she thought.
....
On second thought she should of just waited for someone to help, the copier was shredding all the paper. "Oh no no no no no no!" Jesie ran to the front of the end where the machine was eating all the paper, and held on to what she could "Stop! No! common! aish!" the machine was practically eating all the paper, she could hardly walk now from the thickness of the paper on the ground, endless shreds of paper were building up to her knees. "shoot, shoot shoot, no no no, please stop! please!" she ran around trying to dispose of the shreds but there was no use it seemed like the shreds of paper where multiplying by the second, and someone was approaching. She grabbed a huge stack of shreds and threw it on herself in an attempt to hide, Kyuhyun walked in the door surprised at the site, and began to laugh at the little girl hiding underneath the shreds, he walked up to the machine and unpluged it. Chuckling he walked up to the person hiding in the shreds, he took them off of her, she had tears in her eyes.

"Here you go" Kyuhyun said handing Jesie a drink
"Thanks"
Kyuhyun and Jesie sat on the roof top of the office, he figured she needed some air after the episode that happened before, she needed to be away from electronics.
"Tell me why you couldnt wait for me?" Kyuhyun said smiling at her
"You know something?" Jesie stood up "Im getting tired of my life!"
Kyuhyun's smile turned into a smirk
"Everyday, this stupid bad luck follows me, I can't go out with out having something ridicoulus happen to me!" she began to pace
"I mean look at today, I I hit my head, fell, stepped in gum, I- I broke my heal!" she pointed at her foot that had his slipper on, Kyuhyun laughed
"This is no joking matter!" She pointed a finger at him "Look I fell more than 1 time today, I dont think that is coeincidential!"
"sorry" he said still laughing
"I couldnt even answer the phone, or work a simple copy machine!" she lets out all her energy and sits back down "sometiems I wish I was someone else, someone with good luck, why can't I at least find a coin in the street?"
Jesie's complaint was shortly stopped when Kyuhyun planted a kiss on her lips
"Woah, what was that for?" she said a bit surprised
"To get you to shut up!" he said laughing "Listen, I dont think your being good to yourself, I mean you need to learn to accept it!"
Jesie looked perplexed so he just continued
"We were made the way we are, you were meant to be the way you are exactly, Don't you ever say you don't like the way you are, When you learn to love yourself, you're better off by far."
"Ive heard that before..."Jesie trailed in "But where?" she questioned herself, as Kyuhyun got up and began to sing:

When he was done he took her into an tight warm embrace
