I kept rolling around on my bed, not being able to fall asleep and I had no idea why but seems like the past few days I haven't been able to sleep so well since I kept throwing myself back and forth on the bed. Squeezing my eyes shut didn't help either and I even tried counting 100 sheep too but like that would help..
I sat up angrily and looked at the clock on my night desk
"2 am.. How wonderful" I mumbled
I decided to get myself something to eat cause if I ate something maybe I should be able to fall asleep faster
I didn't even bother to put on a shirt since I knew everyone was sleeping so I made my way to the kitchen, tired because of the lack of sleep but I was still spiked up in a way. When I entered I walked over to the fridge, grabbed the green apple that had been calling out for me and took a glass of water.
As I was munching on the apple on the way out of the kitchen I saw something very weird at the corner of the livingroom. Someone was standing there peeking outside the wonder, arms crossed
I nearly dropped my apple when I recognized the long hair down to her waistline and her tiny, weak and fragile arms. It was Minji.
Seems like she hasn't noticed me at all and I swallowed hard as I saw her in a tank top and shorts. I really need to stop looking at her
My apple slipped through my hands and fell down on the floor causing Minji to squeal out of fear and she covered her mouth as her eyes were wide
"Shh shh! It's me!!" I whispered
Minji calmed herself down immediately and ran towards me as she thought I must have hurt myself somehow since she started to examine my hands
"Did you get hurt? Does it hurt anywhere?" She asked
I looked at her a bit dazed, totally captured by her beauty with the moonlight helping me see her somewhat more clearly. Outstanding..
"Uhm.. I didn't hurt myself.." I stuttered
She looked at me and suddenly she looked away while covering her face. She was blushing. I helped her up as I couldn't help but let the smile appear on my face. For some reason I was kind of enjoying seeing her blushing since I knew it was because of me..
She then spun around, not facing me anymore and I knew she was still blushing. Was she really that embarrassed?
"Did I do something wrong?" I asked Minji
She shook her head
"You're.. not wearing any shirt" She said as she covered her eyes and started to make her way to the hallway in order to get to the room
But since she was covering her eyes she didn't see the wall and she walked right in it, her head bumping against it and she wobbled two steps back while cursing quietly to herself
I chuckled lightly as I walked towards her and forced her to face me while I examined her head
"Does it hurt?" I said while trying to stop myself from laughing
"It's not fun" She pouted
I then had to let it out since she was so cutely pouting at me
"Yes it was.. if you had seen it yourself, you would have laughed as well" I said between the laugh
She rolled her eyes
"Don't you roll your eyes at me. You're spending too much time with Junsu Chincha..." I said
She smiled
"He taught me how to play games to day.. and he was mad at me because I won!" She said happily
I chuckled
"He's the kind of games in the house.. You're hurting his pride" I said
"Not really.. I was taught by the best.. he just has to live with it" She smiled
"Anyway, it's late you should go to sleep" I said
She nodded briefly as I followed her to her room.
"Night"
"Good Night Jae" She whispered
I went back to my own room with a smile. I lied down on the bed and closed my eyes, still drifting around in my own thoughts as I was thinking about her..
The warm feeling kept rolling around inside my chest as I kept thinking about her and I started to wonder if this feeling shouldn't disappear soon. I didn't feel attracted to her.. Just.. happy around her
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I sat up immediately as I reacted on the scream and I soon heard noises everywhere from the different rooms. I stood up immediately and got out of my room as I saw Yoochun turning the lights on
"MINJI?!" All of us chorused
We ran towards her bedroom and didn't even bother to knock and Changmin turned on the lights as we saw Minji on the floor screaming out of pain
"MINJI!!" Yunho shouted
She kept crying while crouching herself and couldn't speak
"MINJI MINJI! TALK TO ME!!" I shouted
"AHHHHHHHH GET IT OFF!!!"
"GET WHAT OFF?!!?" Junsu shouted
"MINJI!!! WHAT'S HAPPENING?! ARE YOU HURT?!" I shouted
"THERE! THAT THING!!!" Yoochun shouted
I looked down to her ankle to see something made of iron, looking like a ankle jewelry but how come I've never noticed it before?
"GET IT OFF PLEASE!!! IT'S HURTING ME!!" Minji cried
Without any further reaction I put my hands on it but it instantly gave me some kind of burnt feeling, as if it burnt my hands when I touched it
"WHAT THE HELL?!" I shouted angrily
Yunho did the same thing but instantly let go as he looked at his hands..
"WHAT IS THAT?!" CHangmin shouted frustrated
"PLEASE TAKE IT OFF!!" Minji cried
"GET THE GUN! NOW!!" I shouted
"GUN!?" Junsu said
"HURRY!!" I shouted
Yoochun was having Minji's head on his lap trying to calm her down but I guess that iron thing was hurting her so much that it was impossible
"HYUNG! HERE!" Junsu said
he handed me the silver gun and I stared at it and at the thing around her ankle
"Get it off her!!" I said and handed YUnho the gun
"No! You're the one who can handle the guns the best. HURRY!!" Yunho said
"HOLD HER STILL!" I said as I targeted the thing around her ankle
Never in my life have I been pushed towards something so hard and I felt myself shaking for the first time when I was suppose to shoot that thing off of her. The thing I was scared of was that I might hurt her instead of that iron thing
"HURRY HYUNG!!" Junsu shouted
Minji's scream came again, sounding like a wake up call to me and I instantly shifted, my eyes becoming dark and I felt the anger rising up inside of me
"Still!" I said with a cold tone and the guys held her down
With one single shot, without hesitating as I felt the anger rising inside of me the shot was fired and I saw the iron thing loosing up and soon fell down on the floor from her ankle
As soon as Minji felt the iron thing release her she immediately crawled herself to Yoochun and he hugged her protectively as Yunho and Changmin got closer to the broken iron on the floor as Junsu were checking her ankle
I felt the adrenaline in my entire body and don't blame me for having this hate inside of me. I wanted to shoot that thing again, make it disappear in front of mye yes for hurting Minji and I'm pretty sure the guys felt the same thing. Yunho didn't touch it and so didn't Changmin either but they watched it
"Get the bag Changmin" I said with a cold tone, probably causing everyone in the room having chills down their spine but like I cared at the moment
Changmin soon came back and I opened it, put the black gloves on and took the tangle to pick the thing up. I then saw some kind of red light going to off mode and my eyes instantly went black, dark of hate
"What is that thing?" Changmin asked
I looked at Yunho
"It's like a chain" I said
"That makes your prisoners scared, so that they don't dare to run away. It makes you weak and you have no other choice than to obey the one who's controlling you" Yunho said
I turned myself to look at Minji who was hiding her face onto Yoochun's chest as he was holding her protectively. Junsu wrapped a blanket around her and I looked back at Yunho
"But why would the person who have this button, activate that now when she has already been gone for more than a week or two?" Changmin asked
I sighed
"I don't have a good feeling about that" Yoochun said
"Me neither" I said
"Something is wrong.." Yunho said
I nodded
"Let's just put this thing away for now..Let's call Kyuhyun and Sungmin in the morning and have them investigate this" I said
All of them nodded as I put it in the plastic bag. Yoochun on the other hand couldn't let go of Minji since she was still shaking from head to toe and was crying her heart out..
Changmin took the bag and went outside the room and I sighed
"How come we haven't noticed it before?" I asked
"We've probably haven't paid attention to anything on her body" Yunho said
"But Donghae must have seen it while he examined her right?" Junsu said
I sighed
I took out my cellphone and dialed Donghae's number and within a few signals he picked it up
"Oh Donghae ah~~ It's me" I said
"Oh.. what's going on?"
"I need to ask you something. When you were examining Minji, didn't you notice that weird jewelry iron thing around her ankle?"
"Hmm.. I did but I didn't think it was something special since it looked pretty nice and I thought it was a gift from you guys?"
I sighed and looked at the guys
"Alright.. thanks for your help"
"Why? Something happened?"
"Just come here in the morning and we'll tell you"
After that I hung up and looked at Minji's ankle to see the red mark
"It must have hurt alot" I whispered
"My hands are red" Yunho stated
I looked at his hands and then at mine
"I feel so stupid now for not paying attention. She got hurt again" I mumbled and looked at her
"Put your hands under the cold water Hyung.. It'll help" Junsu said
Yunho and Junsu went out of the room and I crawled my way over to Minji and Yoochun
"How is she?" I asked
Yoochun shook his head
"Seems like she can't stop shaking" Yoochun said
I sighed
"Go and rest I'll.. put her to sleep" I said
"You're sure? You might not even be able to get some sleep" Yoochun said
I nodded
"It's ok.. I can't sleep anyway" I whispered
Yoochun shifted and put Minji in my arms as he left the room and I hugged her tightly, pulling her closer to me as I hugged her. She had stopped sobbing and crying but her body was trembling like mad
"Minji? It's alright.. You're safe ok?" I whispered
I felt her small hands grab a hold of my shirt and I think it was ehr response or maybe she just tried to assure herself that someone was with her
I stood up, carrying her over to her bed and tucked her in as I lied down beside her, leaning against the wall while having her close to me. Her body didn't stop shaking and I started to worry now since it's not normal to shake that much
"Minji?" I asked
I looked down on her and her eyes opened slowly, looking at me with sad eyes
"Minji? say something" I whispered
She then crawled her way onto my lap, shifting herself like she was a little girl and leaned onto my chest. I didn't say much but I was a bit surprised. Although I didn't show it. I covered her legs with a blanket and wrapped my arms around her as I started to hum to a lullaby trying to make her sleep
"JaeJoong?"
"Hmm?"
"Can you stay with me.. tonight? I'm scared of being alone.." She whispered, shivering in fear
"Of course I can.."
I felt her body relax a bit and she soon fell asleep since I could make out her breathing becoming slower. I didn't want to hold her the entire night since it might feel a bit uncomfortable so I decided to place her down on the bed, her head resting on my chest as I lied down as well although I didn't have any blanket. I didn't want the members to think something stupid and also I didn't want it to look like I've taken advantage of her so I decided just to hold her and that was enough for me to keep myself warm
I suddenly felt Minji shift a bit and I didn't dare to move since I didn't want to wake her up and when she tiredly was done, her body satisfied with the current position she was in, I was amazed and my heartbeats were beating faster than ever
My eyes was wide open as I was staring at her angelic sleeping face.
But the thing that got me nervous and my heartbeats increasing wasn't because of that.
Actually...
My lips wasn't that far away from hers...
