It felt empty and cold. A cold breeze passed me, making my shoulders flinch and I couldn't even help but to shiver. Something was missing..
I opened my eyes slowly to see that I was in my own bedroom, lying on the bed and when I switched myself I saw that it was 1 pm in the afternoon already. I must have overslept. I started to search for something on the bed but I didn't find anything..
I then remembered what have happened last night and I immediately flew up from my position on the bed and looked around
"JaeJoong?"
No answer
I instantly got into the bathroom and looked after him but he wasn't there..
My ankle started to hurt and I tried to calm myself down by keep telling me that when I'm going outside this room later on they will be in the kitchen or in the livingroom as usual..
I brushed my teeth and washed my face and soon limped my way out of the bathroom and put some day cream on my face that Heechul had told me to do..
My ankle started to hurt even more and I looked down to see the red mark still visible and it kept hurting even though the iron was gone.. I limped my way, holding onto whatever I could find along the hallway and entered the livingroom. Deadly silent
A creepy feeling started to creep down my spine as I sensed that something wasn't right. Why is it so quiet and where is everyone?
I entered the kitchen and it was silent here as well. Where were they? Slowly the panic started to build up inside of me as I started to wander around int he house to find no one inside
"Junsu? Changmin?"
I couldn't hold back the tears as I felt myself getting smaller, scared of the silence and the love and warmth that I used to feel is now not presence
"Yunho?" I whispered barely audible
"JaeJoong?"
I started to make my way to their bedrooms, bathrooms but it was deadly silent
"Yoochun!!"
The panic grew and I was almost loosing my mind as I ran around like a freak, while crying. WHERE ARE THEY?
As I tried to run in the livingroom I soon fell and tripped and my ankle twisted making me flinch in pain. It hurt a lot more now than before
"Minji?"
The voice assured me and calmed my heart down as I saw JaeJoong enter from the hallway at the front door and he ran towards me, flew down right next to me
"Hey hey.. Why are you crying?" He asked as he stroked and wiped away my tears
"I thought you were gone.. no one answered and.. and.. an. . .d" I stammered
"Shh Shh.. Hey.. we're not leaving you ok ? The guys isn't home and will be back later on. I just ran down to get us some ingredients to make lunch" He hushed me
I nodded as I tried to control my breathing
"I won't leave you ok?"
He took me into his arms and I hugged him tightly as I sobbed quietly
"Promise?" I whispered
"Of course.. Like I dare to leave you" He said and kissed my forehead
A warm sensation was felt through his kiss, running through my body as I smiled at him
"Now that's my girl.. How's your ankle?" He asked
He touched it briefly and I think he could feel that it was all swollen now due to my fall earlier and he sighed
"It's all swollen"
His fingers was warm onto my skin and I couldn't help but to crave for me cause this is the love and warmth I wanted to fell
"can you walk?" he asked softly
I had no idea if I could but I tried my best to stand up as he helped me but when I was suppose to stand up, relying on my both feet I stumbled and fell forwards and JaeJoong immediately caught me as he lost his balance as well and we both spun around until both of us landed on the couch. Me underneath him as he was on top
I felt my heart starting to pound faster and faster as I could feel him so close to me, not to mention his breathing.. It was so close I could feel it..
My eyes was wide open as I stared into his and he looked terrified, surprised as well and not to mention.. a little bit.. insecure?
I started to wonder if he could hear my heart beating like mad and if he could hear my silly breathing as well..
I think almost 2 or 3 minutes passed without any of us saying anything and also we didn't move an inch either.I had no idea why but I guess we didn't dare to move either..
I started to feel warm inside, a feeling I've never felt before and for the first time in my life, I didn't feel.. scared of being so close to a guy.. Cause this.. was surely different..
JaeJoong's eyes was hypnotizing me as I felt his breathing becoming faster. I felt our faces becoming closer and closer, so close that I could almost brush my lips onto his..

"JAEJOONG! Snap out of it! What are you doing? She might be scared of you!!!"
But I couldn't listen to the voice inside my head. My body was paralyzed and being this close to her reminded me of last night when her lips were just a few inches away from me. Minji didn't look scared more like she was nervous. I hope she didn't hear my heart beating like crazy cause it was beating so hard that it could probably pop out of my chest..
I felt us both coming closer, my lips slightly brushing hers and I saw her closing her eyes and following her, I did the same.. The most magical was about to happen.. right?
Something that maybe my inner desire has been waiting for..
"WE'RE HOME!!!!"
I fell off Minji and landed down on the floor as Minji sat up immediately and stared shockingly at me
"Ouch.. stupid.. members.. bad timing.." I cursed quietly
"JaeJoong, you're ok?" Minji asked and bended down as she watched me rubbing the back of my head
I nodded briefly but not having the courage to face her
"What are you doing down there?" Yunho asked and looked at me
"I fell what else?" I said and stood up
"Clumsy" Junsu chuckled
"Hi Minji! Our princess is already awake!" Yunho smiled and greeted her
He was about to throw himself at her but I stopped him in time before he even could lay a finger on her
He stared confused at me
"Be careful. She tripped earlier and her ankle is swollen. We need Donghae here as soon as possible" I said and sat down next to her
"I think I heard my name" Donghae said showing himself as he entered the livingroom
Right behind him was Yoochun and Kyuhyun and Sungmin was following him with a smile on their faces
I could feel Minji becoming paralyzed behind me and she flinched in fear. Without even thinking I just grabbed her hand as she was standing behind me and I caressed it softly as I was standing in front of her protectively
"Long time no see" I smiled at Kyuhyun and Sungmin
The laughed and high fived me
"That's her?" Kyuhyun smiled
I nodded
Seems like Yoochun had already told them everything and Sungmin and Kyuhyun smiled at Minji
"Hey Minji.. Kyuhyun Imnida and this is Sungmin" Kyuhyun said
She didn't say anything. I looked behind my shoulder to meet her gaze and she was looking at the with some curiosity
"So where's that thing we were suppose to investigate?" Sungmin asked
Yoochun took them into the kitchen with the bag in his hands and Junsu followed them since he wanted to take part of it as well
I sat down on the couch next to Minji after helping her sitting down and Donghae started to examine her ankle.
Suddenly out of nowhere I felt someone looking at me, paying more attention to me than usually and I soon found Yunho's eyes. We had eyecontact and he was smiling a bit weirdly. My eyes soon followed his gaze and I understood immediately what he was staring at.
My hand interlocked with Minji's
I rolled my eyes
I let go of her hand gently since I wanted to know about that thing around her ankle that hurt her yesterday
"I'll be right back ok?" I said to Minji
She nodded
Both Yunho and I made our way into the kitchen and Yunho cleared his throat but I hit him on his head
"Nothing happened and there is nothing there so don't you even dare try opening your mouth to say something or else I'm gonna make sure you will die" I threaten him
He chuckled
"I'm not saying anything" He said
We stopped at the dining table seeing Sungmin investigating the thing as Kyuhyun were typing on the laptop of theirs. Yoochun and Junsu were watching closely and I crossed my arms over my chest as I watched them
"So what is it?" Yunho asked as Sungmin nodded at Kyuhyun
"It's like a handcuff but in this case ankle. A chain that makes it impossible for your victim to run away and because of the pain it is sending through the body, the victim will beg for mercy and not to mention that it is very painful. The victim doesn't dare to not obey the person who is in control" Kyuhyun said
"If you look here, the moment you shot the bullet at it, the iron loosened and when the red button faded away, the iron stopped working but it left her a mark. The reason for you guys feeling the burning feeling when you grabbed onto it is because of if anyone tries to help the person the person will feel the same pain as the victim" Sungmin said
"But it's not like .. a tracing detector or something right?" Yunho asked
"No just something so that you will be able to control your victim with. The moment you destroyed this one, the button explodes as well. Everything stops working" Sungmin said
"But it is very well made nnot to mention the initials of it. It's a sign of very expensive equipments" Kyuhyun said
"Why don't I have such a good feeling about this?" Yoochun asked
"Me too.. You make it sound like.. it's dangerous" Junsu said
I eyed the iron as Kyuhyun continued
"This is imported .. Not really sure from where but it is definitely not made here. Her name was Minji right?" Kyuhyun said
I nodded
"What about it?"
"Do you know anything more about her except that she was taken away at a young age and that she has been a victim under trafficking?" Kyuhyun asked
I looked at the guys and then back at them
"No. Wae?" I asked
"You see.. If she had this thing around her ankle.. it must be a sign of that she's really precious" Sungmin said
"Precious?" I asked
"Yes Precious as in.. very valuable" Kyuhyun said
"What are you trying to say?" Yunho asked
"I think Yoochun mentioned something about her loosing her memories right?" Sungmin said
All of us nodded
"The earlier she can remember the better cause I'm pretty sure she can help us with nailing those bastards. They must have made a fortune on trafficking because these equipments are expensive.." Kyuhyun said
"So you're saying that she might not be the person we think she is or?" Junsu asked
Kyuhyun shook his head along with Sungmin
"What we're trying to say is that.. Ok kill me if I'm wrong but Minji is really beautiful. Really really beautiful, Chincha. And loosing a girl like that that these guys must have made a fortune from must be a disaster. I have a small feeling that there might be chance that they're searching for her.. cause she is indeed something. Having an equipment designed like this, looking like a jewelry.. it's really expensive that it would probably afford me at least an island or something" Sungmin said
"Hmm...." Yunho said quietly
All of us spun around as we watched her through the kitchen entrance, seeing her smile and laughing since Donghae had made a joke or something
"So you're telling us to protect her?" I asked
"Not just only protect but watch her.. She might be the key to something big. Dangerous... but big. These guys are rich.." Kyuhyun said
The angelic smile and happiness that were shown from Minji at the moment made my heart sink a bit. How could a precious girl like her going through so much pain..? Her fragile heart, weak body and her lost mind? It wasn't fair anywhere
"So protect her. Make sure she recovers and then .. I think you should get in contact with the police or something. We might be able to solve a big case here" Kyuhyun said
"Speaking of Police, the lab needs us now" Sungmin said as he checked his phone
The guys made their way out of kitchen and bid their goodbyes to Donghae and Minji
"Protect her guys.. She'll need it" Kyuhyun said
I nodded
"Don't worry.. Not a single scratch will be able to be found on her.." I assured them
