As soon as we stepped inside the house and entered the livingroom Yoochun flew up from his seat and let out a sigh of relief. We stopped laughing and looked at him
"Gosh I thought something happened to you.. Took you long enough!" He scolded
"Aish, Jae hyung were just having some fun with the criminals that's all" Junsu laughed and threw himself on the couch
He pulled out his gun and pulled the safety on as he smiled at Yoochun. Yunho walked over and took his gun and the rest of the guns from the rest of us as well . Probably he just wanted to lock them away . He pulled the safety on and walked out of the livingroom, leaving us alone
"Where's Minji?" I asked softly as I took off the gloves
"She's in her bedroom" Yoochun said and sat down and took a sip of his tea
"How is she?" I asked
Yoochun shrugged
"Not much of a change. I checked up on her, asked her if she wanted to eat anything and I put a glass of water on her night desk but she remained still and didn't say much. She's obviously.. a bit.. depressed.. and she's.. tired I think.. The memories are too much for her" Yoochun said
"Poor her.. seriously.. I'm worried.. Those memories are really.. harsh and it's really.. I mean.. She can't handle it alone" Changmin said
I sighed and sat down next to Junsu
"Even though she can't handle it she has to. Cause even though we're offering her our help, it's not like we can feel what she feels, think what she thinks. She will become stronger if she can drag herself out of that but we can always be there for her, talk to her and like.. listen to her.. comfort her when she needs us" Yoochun said
"Sounds good" Changmin nodded
"So she hasn't eaten anything?" I asked
Yoochun shook his head
"I don't think she's hungry.. but I can't get her to eat either .. it's already pass lunchtime.." Yoochun said
"Well.. How about I start preparing the food along with Changmin and you too starts cleaning the house?" Yunho said as he entered the livingroom again in new baggy clothes
"I'll do the laundry. It's easiest" Junsu squeaked
"No! I wanted to do that!!!"
"I'm first!!"
Junsu ran off and Yoochunw as close behind, leaving me, Yunho and Changmin in the livingroom. I stood up
"What am I suppose to do then?" I asked
"Gosh hyung your brain is really slow. You're checking up on Minji.." CHangmin chuckled
"Me?" I asked a bit surprised
Yunho nodded
"You're the one who reaches out to her the best even though she likes all of us.. I think it's easier if you just stay with her until lunch is done" Yunho said
I sighed as Yunho went to the kitchen to start on the lunch and Changmin headed to his room, probably taking a shower before helping Yunho. I walked down the hallway, feeling slightly nervous as I approached her bedroom. I then looked down on my clothes and remembered that I perhaps should shower first before seeing her cause I don't want to look like a mess, even smell badly when seeing her. I hurried to the shower, throwing the clothes off and when I was finished, I changed into a tee and loosy pants as I went to her bedroom. I stopped outside, feeling my heartbeats increasing..
"Stop it Jae. Why are you nervous.. it's just.. her." I mumbled and hit myself on my head
I knocked on the door 3 times but never did I get an answer.
"Minji?" I whispered
I entered her room, closing the door behind as I slowly walked into our old guestroom which was now more Minji's room and I found her on the bed, crouched into a baby position as she was cuddling herself under the blanket
"Minji?" I asked
She slightly moved, and her eyes met mine. I stopped in my track as I waited for her to response and she sat up slowly as her hair was a bit messed up
"It's you" She whispered tiredly
I walked over to her and sat down on at the edge of the bed as I looked at her. I caressed her cheek carefully as she closed her eyes tiredly, giving me the hint that she was kind of enjoying my touch
"How are you feeling?" I whispered softly
She sighed and suddenly she came closer to me, and before I knew it, she leaned her head onto my shoulder while cuddling her together like a little girl in my embrace. Automatically I responded, feeling the heat, the warm feelings rush through me as I rested my cheek onto her head
"I'm tired.." She whispered
I caressed her smooth hair, while holding her tightly and close to me
"I know.. not been sleeping well?" I asked
She didn't answer. I knew that she have had nightmares, no doubts cause her bags under her eyes were heavy, not to mention her emotionless face but at least she was speaking.. It was better than nothing
"You're special to me JaeJoong" She suddenly whispered
I looked down on her. I saw her closing her eyes and she rested tiredly on me
"You're making me feel special in a way and I feel.. so safe around you" She whispered tiredly
A smile soon appeared on my lips as I pulled her closer to me. I kissed her forehead carefully as I listened to her breathings. Somehow this moment was getting more precious to me. My heart was beating like mad, my heart that has never reacted in such a way before..
"When I'm with you.. it feels like.. no one can.. hurt me" She whispered
I caressed her cheeks once again
"No one will hurt you" I said
"Is that a promise then?" She said and pulled away from me
I looked at her confused
"What do you mean?" I asked
Suddenly she ran her fingers down my cheek, causing me to star at here surprised, my heartbeats stopped and my body froze. The only thing I could hear was her breathings and feel her touch
"That you will always stay with me" She whispered
I didn't answer. In fact I hadn't realized that I had secretly leaned myself towards her and right now, My lips wasn't that far away from her . Her fingers left my cheek and she looked at me curiously. She didn't look away but her eyes kept looking into mine
I don't know what happened but for some reason, I had leaned forewards, unknowingly, kept on doing that and for some reason, Minji had leaned herself backwards and before we both knew it, she was lying on her back on the bed, staring into my eyes. I didn't break the eyecontact cause her eyes had captured me completely and I observed every move she was making. I saw her parted her lips, as if she was going to say something and I then felt the urge to feel it. I wanted to.. kiss her.. no doubt
I leaned closer as I saw her soon closing her eyes. She didn't move under me and I also closed my eyes. I was so close to her right now that I could feel her nosetip, feeling her breathing onto me
My heart skipped a few beats, my hands froze on the bed as I felt my lips so close to hers that I was able to brush it
"YAH! LUNCH TIME!!!" Yunho's voice echoed
I instantly opened my eyes and stared into hers in shock. She stared at me back as well and I immediately darted away from her and got out of bed, frustrating looking around. Anywhere but her
She sat up in her bed and stared at me and I stared at her as well.
What the hell am I thinking? What the hell am I doing? I shook my head angrily at myself as I got out of the room and ran into my own, closed it and leaned onto the door. My back soon slided down onto the door and I was soon sitting down
What the hell am I doing? I can't do that to her! How can I be so careless?! What if.. I had kissed her ?! I could've ruined all the work we had been working with her. The relationship, the connection ... the trust
I slammed down on the floor with my fist angrily
My heart hadn't stopped beating for a minute and at this minute I slowly started to realize why
There was no doubt that I had secretly fallen for her.. I had acted careless around her, somehow my body had followed the signs of my heart. Yunho was right. He saw it coming but I had denied it..
She managed to make my heart beat faster..
She managed to make my heart stop..
She took my breath away due to her beauty
She did everything to me that I never thought was possible..
I shook my head in frustrating as I covered my entire face with both of my hands..
I had fallen..
Yunho saw it coming..
Yunho was right..
