I couldn't hide the happiness of having her in the same room as me and the most important thing of all, the members now understood me and I couldn't help but just feel relieved. It felt so much better to know that they know so I didn't need to lie..
"Easy now sweetie.. He's not in his best condition at the moment" Yunho laughed as he smiled at Minji
She nodded
"I'm just happy he's awake" She said and looked at me
I felt my cheeks growing warm and probably there must be a slight brush of red color since Junsu suddenly chuckled
"Look at him! he's rrtmmmmmmmmmm"
"I think I'll take it from here!" Yoochun smiled as he kept his hand on Junsu's mouth while moving outside
"Uhm.. you told me the lunch was ready? I'm so hungry!" Yunho said and stood up
I sighed, typical the members. they're always like this
"Yeah! Let me show you what I cooked!" Changmin said
All of them left the room and closed the door behind, leaving me and Minji here all by ourselves. I didn't mind but I was just afraid what would happen next since I had no idea how she was going to do ..
But whatever she did, I had to stay focused. I couldn't loose myself.. Even if it means that I have to act cold towards her.. But I was hoping dearly that I don't have to cause Yunho said she changed..
"How are you? Do you need anything?" She whispered as she adjusted the hair for me
I closed my eyes for a brief moment as I was enjoying her taking care of me. Maybe being injured isn't that bad at all
"No.. I don't.. I'm fine" I breathed
She stopped with whatever she was doing with my hair and suddenly I felt her stroking my cheeks, causing me to open my eyes and look at her
Her eyes were showing me affection, love and devotion, such a beautiful gaze..
She cared about me..
"I'm sorry" She whispered
She shifted and looked at my wound, trying to remember which side I was injured on and when she had figured it out, she then positioned herself on the side I wasn't injured on and suddenly she wrapped her fragile arms around me, slowly and carefully as she leaned onto my chest
I was holding my breath but I didn't stop her
"I'm sorry for making you worried.. and I'm sorry that you're injured.. It's my fault" She whispered sadly
With the arm I could move with I wrapped it around her and caressed her smooth arm
"Aniyo~~ It's ok.. Just don't.. do that ever again" I whispered
"I won't I promise.. But still it's my fault that you're injured like this" She said and started to dig her face into my chest. I was praying that she didn't hear my heart pounding like mad
"Why did you run away?"
The silence made me feel the cold atmosphere but I decided to ignore it. At least she hadn't moved herself but at the same time she didn't look at me either. I had no idea if she was trying to avoid eye contact but it just felt.. not good
"I thought you hated me"
"What?!" I said shocked
She sat up slowly and I saw tears forming, soon falling from the corner of her eyes, making me feel even worse than earlier..
"I don't hate you!" I said and wiped her tears away quickly
She shook her head
"You avoided me.. and didn't talk to me and whenever you did, you were never alone.. I thought you disgusted me because of the things I have been through.." She whispered sadly and looked down
It took me by surprise and I was shocked. All this time I had been selfish, thinking about myself I guess without considering her feelings but I never thought she would feel like this either..
"Don't you ever think anything like that" I said and lifted her chin up so that I could look at her
"You mean a lot to me Minji. I have my reasons for avoiding you" I said softly
She sobbed quietly
"Did I do something wrong?" She whispered
Yes you did, you made me fall for you.. But of course I didn't say that. I didn't want to tell her the truth.. Not yet. Not until I'm completely healthy and of course not until she has gotten better but seeing her now, she was making process
"No you didn't. You out of all people haven't done anything.." I said and smiled at her
She looked at me
"Then what is it?" She asked
I sighed
I didn't want to lie but I couldn't tell the truth either. How I was hoping that any of the members would butt in and just let me get away with this question but I knew myself, if I avoided the question, she would only find the right time to confront me
"Minji, listen to me carefully" I said
She looked at me
"You haven't done anything. I do not disgust you, hate you or whatsoever so don't you even dare to think any thoughts like that. You mean a lot to me.. and I've gotten attached to you. I can't tell you the reasons why and I have reasons for that as well"
She sighed
"Skip the reasons" She said simply
I chuckled at her cute dumbness but I knew she was worrying
"I can't. And I'm doing out of concern for you. I need to ask you to understand me for now.. Can you do that for me?" I asked
She didn't answer
"I promise I will tell you when the time is right but the time right now isn't" I said
She let out a heavy sigh
"Araso~"
I smiled happily at her
"But then you have to promise to not avoid me again"
"I won't"
"Like really really promise cause I remember you promised but you broke it"
"I didn't"
"Yes you did"
I shook my head
"I didn't leave you. I was being there when you didn't see it"
"So it was you during nights then?" She gasped
I nodded
"I thought I was dreaming or it was someone else" She said dumbfounded and pouted cutely
How am I suppose to resist to kiss her and hug her now when she is being all cute towards me? Gosh, Why didn't I break the arms?!
"I promise I won't leave you"
"And if you do you have to bring me along" She said
I rolled my eyes
"Why are there so many conditions?" I complained
She smiled happily
"Cause in that way I know you won't be able to leave me" She said
"Fine" I said
"One more thing"
"Now what?" I laughed
The fun atmosphere vanished as her facial expression changed. I saw her biting her lips nervously but when she faced me, she was facing me with a sad expression, a serious look in her face that I've never seen before
"You can't.. do that to yourself ever again" She whispered
"Do what?" I asked
"You can't get.. hurt because of me.."
I stared at her
"I can't let you or the other members getting hurt. I don't want you to get hurt.. You can't get hurt.. It's.. no.. I'm not.."
"YOU ARE WORTH IT" I said and cut her off in the middle of her sentence
She looked at me
"We have grown attached to you. We care about you and no matter what happens we will always protect you. Right now you're our first priority and since we're skilled and hard as rocks, we always survive" I said assuringly
She didn't believe me
"No.. look at you" She said and pointed at me
I didn't look, I kept my eyes on her
"You're the only one I can see right now and I don't care even if I got my arms and legs cut off. I always manage to survive somehow" I said
She sighed
"It's not right" She said
"Yes it is. So stop" I said
She looked up
"I want you to teach me"
"Teach you?" I asked and raised an eyebrow
She nodded
"I want to know how to defend myself.."
I stared at her
"No" I simply replied
"Yes you have to"
"No you will get hurt. That is hard training and it can hurt you and give you injuries"
She shook her head
"I can't be more injured than I already am" She whispered
I looked at her and she was staring at me
"The scars in here are nothing compared to those on the outside" She said
I sighed
"Minji, defense.. for girls.. my definition of it is pepperspray" I said getting a bit annoyed
Ok, I know defense is good but look at her. She is still not healthy and she already has 5 guys protecting her. What's the point?
"No. I want to learn how to defend myself" She said stubbornly
"No Minji. You're too fragile"
"Stop telling me that I'm fragile!" She shouted at me
I looked at her
"But you are. You're too vulnerable" I said
She shook her head
"I'm completely fine"
"No you're not. You're not in a good condition, mentally or physically. You already have the 5 of us. You don't need to learn how to defend yourself cause I can already assure you that you won't leave this house without anyone of us with you" I said, starting to get angry
"I'm fine. I'm healthy"
"NO! Have you seen your back? the strength of yours? If you are physically damaged, you can't defend yourself cause you will get too emotional. You will loose the fight and end up more injured already" I said
"No I won't!!"
"Stop being stubborn. When you're healthy you can learn how to defend yourself but right now is not a good time" I said
I was caring about her health. Not that I don't want her to learn how to defend herself but she wasn't in her greatest condition right now and she needs to become 100% healthy first
"Fine. I'll ask the other members then" She said and got out of bed
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
That practically took the energy and the strength out of me as I screamed out. In a few seconds all the members were in the room
"What ?! What?! Did something happen?!" Yunho shouted as he approached me, checking if I was hurting somewhere
I raised an eyebrow looking at Minji
"They won't teach you" I said simply
"That is not fair!" Minji said angrily
"You're not in a good condition now"
"Stop talking about my condition! I WILL GET BETTER!" Minji said frustrated
"BUT WAIT UNTIL YOU GET BETTER THEN!!" I said angrily
"What is going on? What is the fight about?" Yoochun asked
"He don't want anyone of you to teach me selfdefense" Minji said
All of the members looked at me questiongly
"She's not well yet" I said simply
I knew they were agreeing with me on this term
"I said that I would ask any of you then" Minji said and looked at them
"They won't teach you until we have gotten permission from Donghae" I said
The members didn't say anything
Minji let out an angry sigh and stomped her way out of the room. Ok, forgive me for being concerned but it's just that I want her to get better first. If she doesn't get better and will start trying to how defend herself, she would only injure herself even more. Is it that wrong to be so overprotective?
"Hyung I think you're being unfair towards her" Junsu said
I looked at him
"In what ways am I being unfair? I'm just thinking of her health. You know very well she's not in a good condition right now and self defense takes more than just knowing how to crack a guy's nose" I said
"But still Hyung.. She's getting better" Junsu said
"No .. I think he's right. We should wait but I don't get the point why she wants to learn it. She just got out of her shell. How can she be sure that she is not afraid of other people than just us?" Yunho said
"But she has changed. You see that don't you? I mean, she's changing" Junsu said
"Junsu, Hyung is right. Chincha. It's only been a day. How can we be sure that she is able to meet other people without flinching and getting scared?" Yoochun said
Junsu sighed
"I just think we're being too harsh on her" Junsu said
"No we're not. We're thinking about what is best for her. And I'm sure she's not used to that but she just has to.. She even try to make me promise that we would never get ourselves hurt because of her . She was devastated and feeling ashamed for me lying her because I wanted to protect her yesterday" I said
"She did? That's not reasonable" Changmin said
I nodded
"Now you see my point? She has to understand that she can rely on other people as well.." I said
"But she do got a point there. I mean, I always feel like that whenever you guys are out on a mission and I can't participate with you. Or when you're trying to help me and ending up being injured" Junsu said
I sighed
"I know you're on her side but this time, you have to think about her health. NO Self defense until we get permission from Donghae" I said
All three of them nodded except Junsu
"Junsu?" I eyed him
he let out a sigh
"Alright. Until we have permission" Junsu said

Jae_Love: Nae, being under trafficking, you will get abused, raped and such since it provides prostitution so yes.. she has been raped. I haven't really like.. decided the amount of times she has been but since she has been under trafficking for so long, then it is automatically a lot of times
