"Where in .. the world.. are we..?" Changmin whispered as we got out of the car
We had been driving for 1,5h, stopping in the middle of nowhere down a highway, with no cars nearby. It was cold and night and I was shivering. Shivering out of fear, not of coldness. I wasn't afraid, only afraid what was happening, if she was ok. If she was safe. If she was.. still alive
It stung in my heart when I thought about it
Soon Yunho and KIbum pulled over as well, got out of the car after parking the car behind the bushes like we did and we all gathered around
"Now.. according to the papers and this navigator, they're not far away from here.." Yunho mumbled as he looked around
"And the button to Kyuhyun and Sungmin?" Yoochun asked
"It's ready. They're nearby with the policemen ready. All we have to do is push the button" Kibum said coldly as he was gazing, observing and taking in all kind of information he could
"What are we waiting for?" I said impatiently
"easy now tiger. We have to check how the surroundings are" Kibum mumbled as he started to walk down the small path, quietly, almost like a lion, quiet and easy. Smoothly flying down the path..
All of us followed him and about 10 minutes later we found an abandon storage house. Covered with high fences and bushes. It looked abandon from afar but we knew that someone was in there. We knew Mr L was in there and just on the other side of this fence, I knew she was in there
I wanted to go and without myself knowing my body spoke for itself, standing up and wanting to run into that abandon building but soon I felt myself being pulled back, held back by 4 strong hands. I looked up to see Yunho and Kibum staring down at me
"DO you want to save Minji or get all of us killed? That also includes her" Kibum said
I didn't answer and pulled myself away from them
"What now then?" I said while gritting my teeth
"THe best we could do now is to look around the building, looking and searching for any possible entrances as well as exits. As soon as we have gotten her out of there, we're out of here and let the police do the rest" Junsu said
"Not a chance in a million years" Kibum said coldly
I saw him pulling out his gun, arming it and looking at it
"You have o idea how long I've been waiting for this moment. I'm not gonna let this chance pass by without even killing that son of a bitch. Believe me, if I get the chance, I will take it" KIbum said
No one said anything
Yunho let out a heavy sigh
"Let's split up. 2-2 is best right? Contact through the headphones. Make sure it's on" Yunho said
All of us checked it and we could easily hear each other. When any of us were talking it was like it was echoing. Nice equipment we received from Sungmin and Kyuhyun
"Now, be careful. Any kind of danger, get out of there immediately, contact the others" Yunho said
All of us let out a sigh. We had been through this before but never once was there a girl involved, no emotions and feelings. THis time it was different. Everything that was forbidden in a war, in a mission, was right in front of us. All of us knew that we had to leave, get out of the building if danger was approaching, but I don't think any of us would do that cause we knew if they discovered us, the one who will be suffering wasn't us. It was Minji. She will get the punishments and who knows.. what those might be..
"Let's get started. Minji.. the longer we stand here.. the more suffer and pain she will get" Kibum whispered
All of us looked at each other
"Be careful" CHangmin whispered
"Don't be like that. It's like this is our last time together" Junsu chuckled, trying to joke the tense atmosphere away. I don't know if it worked but at least everyone was smiling
"Remember, run... while you can. Don't stay behind.." Yoochun said
I looked at him
He eyed me
"Don't stay behind" He repeated himself
I nodded slowly
We parted and I was paired up with Kibum, Changmin with Yunho and Junsu with Yoochun. I was praying dearly, sincerely that everyone would make it out of there safely.
Kibum and I approached the fence, watching and observing, checking any possible cameras and so on but there was no in sight, as well as guards
"Why do I feel that this is way too easy?" Kibum whispered as we climbed over the fence
"No idea.. maybe the.. security gets more difficult int he building.." I mumbled
"Kibum, Jae, It's Yunho. You got yourself inside yet?" I heard through my ear phone
"Jae here, Yes.. we're almost there"
"Chun here, Junsu and I are almost there as well" I heard Yoochun say
"Good, Stay focused. Don't let anything disturb you" Yunho finished
I was laening against the wall, checking to the right and to the left but nothing were in sight. Kibum as well. We slowly made our way to the ladder that we saw and started to slowly climb up until we got to the roof
"Kibum here, We're on the roof now" Kibum told the others
"Yunho here, We're inside"
"So are we" Junsu said
"Keep us updated" Yunho finished
I looked around ont he roof and there was nothing on the roof. Not even security cameras. Kibum made his way over to the one and only door on the roof and when he tried to open it, it was locked
"Shit ass" He cursed
I rolled my eyes
"move over.." I mumbled
I pulled out a hairpin that I have used for 5 years whenever I was out on a missions and I'm so happy that I have one. After 5 minutes of trying to get the door unlocked, I finally heard the click sound I was waiting for. A big grin appeared on my lips as I opened it, gesturing Kibum to enter first. He just rolled his eyes
"I could've used my gun. Easy and fast.." He said
I chuckled quietly
"Someone would have heard you" I said as we quietly made our way down the stairs
"Like I care. Right now I want to shoot every kind of guy we saw. LEt's play.. The one who kills the most owes the other person at least 10 servings of Barbeque at the restaurant" Kibum suggested
"Deal"
Quietly we came to the end of the staircase and in front of us, we only had a long, long hallway. Dark and the only light was the emergency light at the end of the hallway
"Why is it so quiet?" Kibum asked
Slowly we started to walk down the hallway, our eyes, ears and our hands ready to pull out the guns if someone appeared
A deja vu feeling was coming onto me as I started to slowly recognize this.. building.
"Hey Kibum.." I whispered
"What?"
"Doesn't this building.. kind of .. remind you.. of the Underground building back where we found Minji?" I mumbled
Kibum stopped himself in his tracks and faced me
He then looked behind, forward, to the sides before looking at me again
"Now when you mention it.. " He started
"Hey Guys.. It's Junsu"
"I'm here" I answered
"Me too" Yunho said
"Why is this building so familiar to the Underground building back at home?" Junsu asked
"Because it's the same just that this one is located somewhere else.." kibum answered through his mic
"I think.. we're in the storage room now" Yunho said
"Did you see any suspicious on your way down there?" I asked
"No. No one is nearby. Strange isn't it?" Changmin said
I looked at Kibum
"This building is bigger" KIbum stated
"Why do you think that?" Yoochun asked through the headset
"Because, from the outside it looked huge. As in other words, it's constructed and built as the Underground just that this one is bigger. And if this is the same building as the Underground back at home.." Kibum said
I could hear everyone holding their breaths
"That means that he's.. right now.." Junsu started
"That's right. He's underground right where Yunho and Changmin is. And if this place is bigger, that also means that the Underground is bigger.." Kibum said
"Doesn't that mean.. that Minji is also there?" Yoochun asked
"Yes, not to mention all the girls he kidnapped to make his business a.k.a trafficking on role.." KIbum said through the mic
I stared at him
"What do we do now?" Junsu asked through the headset
"Easy. Make our way down to the storage room where Yunho and Changmin is. Let's all meet there to make up a new plan"
Kibum finished the conversation and I looked at him
"Now when we know where Minji is.. let's just hope she's alive" Kibum mumbled
