In slowmotion I saw the time passing by, seeing the scene before me that could make any heart break into pieces. Mr L pointed the gun at me, tears were constantly falling, warm and salty but I couldn't feel them. THe only thing I could hear was my heartbeats, increasing as the fear grew. The anxiety as well as the fear of what was going to happen next
"LIKE I SAID! IF I CAN'T HAVE HER NO ONE CAN!!" He shouted angrily
"NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
My eyes widened as I heard the bullet being fired. I didn't even have the time to blink before I saw JaeJoong facing me, his body covering my own, protecting me from the bullet. His arms were hard around me but then I felt something. His eyes widened as I felt his grip loosen around me. My eyes widened even more as I felt JaeJoong collapsing in front of me
"JAEJOONG!!!!!!!!!!!!"
My voice broke as I caught him, him collapsing onto me. Both of us fell down, As I was holding him in my arms. I felt something wet oozing out from his back and I lifted my left hand to see red color. His blood.
JaeJoong had been shot. He took.. the bullet
"JaeJoong! JAEJOONG!!!"
I kept shaking, my hands not knowing where to touch him as I was crying hard. My lips were trembling, and I started to sob even more.
Another gun was being fired and the next thing i know was that Mr L fell down on his knees. I looked up to see him being shot right where his heart was. I looked behind me to see Kibum staring at Mr L as he was holding the gun. Kibum had killen Mr L.
"JAE! JAE!!"
Yunho shouted as he was bleeding from the wound on his forehead
I turned him over as I kept crying, touching his beautiful face with his blood covering both of my hands
"JaeJoong.. jaeJoong .. Talk to me" I sobbed hard
JaeJoong was breathing heavily. He was sweating tons and I somehow was feeling that I was loosing him
"JaeJoong.. JAEJOONG!!" Yoochun shouted
Changmin was taking care of Kibum. Kibum was pretty much alright, not suffering like JaeJoong was. Apparently Junsu had already contacted the police and ambulance cause from afar you could hear the sirens. Even though Kibum was injured, in pain he was still worriedly looking at JaeJoong. Everyone.. was at the verge of breaking down except me. The tears were already falling continuously . There was no way to stop it and the fear kept on crawling on my back. I can't loose him
"JaeJoong.. JaeJoong.. look at me" I sobbed as I touched his face
JaeJoong breathed hard as his eyes were closed
"JaeJoong please.. please.. It's me.. Please.. JaeJoong.. Open your eyes.. It's Me.. Minji.. You hear me? I love you.. please.."
His chest was becoming heavier as I felt his strength fading away. I was fearing the worse outcome at the moment and I started to panic
"SOMEBODY SAVE HIM!!! SOMEBODY HELP HIM!!!!!!!!!!" I shouted
I started to cry hysterically as Yunho and Yoochun were panicking as well
"COME ON MAN! HANG IN THERE! STAY WITH US!! THE HELP IS ON IT'S WAY!!!"
Yunho's cry out wasn't even enough cause JaeJoong didn't open his eyes
"COME ON MAN!! STAY WITH US! WE CAN'T LOOSE OUR BROTHER!!!" Yoochun cried
"JAEJOONG! PELASE OPEN!! OPEN YOUR EYES!!" I kept crying
He was breathing, but I have no idea if he could hear us, if he was unconscious or if he was still here with us. His body was floppy in my arms, too tired to even pull himself up. He was exhausted and somehow I was feeling that his strength were slowly leaving him
"JaeJoong.. Don't leave me.." I continued to cry
Yunho was crying, Yoochun was crying. From afar, Junsu who was holding his guns at Mr L's men, were also crying. If he lost the control over the guns, one of Mr L's men would probably die
"Come on Bro.. You .. can't leave us!" Yunho sobbed hard as he was trying to wipe away his tears. Yoochun were squeezing JaeJoong's hand but he didn't react.
"SOMEBODY PLEASE DO SOMETHING!!" I started to cry harder, shake even more.
I didn't know what to do, where to go or what I should think. He can't leave me. He just couldn't..
I slowly crouched myself while holding him in my arms, digging myself on his shoulder crying hardly
"You promised to be here with me.. To never.. leave my side.. Are you going.. to break that?" I cried, whispering quietly but I don't even know if it was audible.
Maybe Yunho and Yoochun were able to hear it. But my voice was shaking so much that I don't even know if they could make out the words.
"Please JaeJoong.."
I pulled myself away from him as I caressed his face again. Slowly I saw something. His eyes were moving a bit under the eyelid
"Jaejoong.. Please.. I'm here.. Just.. stay with me" I whispered
JaeJoong slowly opened his eyes and breathed heavily
"Minji.."
"I'm right here.. Right here.. Just hang in there..." I sobbed
"Don't.. cry.. I don't.. want you to cry"
His voice was only a whisper, as if the strength wasn't even enough for him to speak. I shook my head
"I won't cry. Just.. stay with me" I sobbed
He looked at me for a long time
"You're safe now"
I shook my head
"Stay with me" I sobbed
JaeJoong turned his head and a smile appeared on his lips as he faced Yoochun and Yunho. Both of them were crying hard, Yoochun holding his hand as Yunho covered his body with his jacket
"Come on man.. You're not even married yet. You can't leave now. You haven't finished your life here.." Yunho cried
JaeJoong tried to smile again but it made the wound on his back ache even more and he was forced to close his eyes
"It's cold..." He whispered
"GIVE ME YOUR JACKETS! nOW!!!" Yoochun shouted frustrated
Junsu took the jackets from Mr Ls men and threw them at Yoochun and Yunho and him quickly covered JaeJoong in it. I kept crying as I watched the beautiful person in front of me fighting for his life
"You shouldn't have done that.. You shouldn't have taken that bullet.. It wasn't meant for you" I sobbed as I kissed his cheek
JaeJoong breathed heavily
"I told you.. I was going to protect you. Your heart.. is precious to me.."
"You are precious to me.." I cried
JaeJoong managed to open his eyes again. He looked at me but didn't say anything as he was trying focus hard on breathing. The sirens were close now and we could hear voices in the entire building. They were here
"They're here.. The ambulance and doctors are here. Just stay strong. Don't you dare to leave us. All of us need a best man for our weddings.. And Minji.. needs.. her boyfriend" Yunho sobbed
JaeJoong looked at Yunho
A smile slowly appeared on his lips as we could hear the staff approaching. They weren't far away now
JaeJoong looked at me again as I saw a tear falling from the right eye of his
"I love you Minji"
His eyes slowly closed and I felt my heart breaking.
"Ja a a a e Joo o ong?"
"Jae?" Yunho whispered
"Hyung?!" Changmin cried
"MOVE ! MOVE!! MAKE ROOM!" The ambulance staff shouted
Suddenly JaeJoong was taken away from me, I was paralyzed, staring wideeyed at the love of my life on the floor as the ambulance staff was surrounding him.
I fell down onto my knees as I cried even more..
Yunho caught me and the only sound I could hear right now was my heart breaking into pieces...
"JAEJOOOOOOONG! NOOO!!!"
