Kyuhyun, Sungmin and their fellow friends was out in the forest cleaning up everything. You know having contacts within the forces of Police and such is really good. In that way we wouldn't be suspected for anything cause we do a lot of stuff that helps them and the people right. So now the big organization of Trafficking, it was probably ending but I know that it will take them several months before they are able to find all the locations allover the world.
I looked around as I saw Kibum talking to Sungmin along with Changmin. Junsu were checking and observing everything that Kyuhyun, Sungmin and their friends were doing..
THey were probably trying to come up with a story in order to cover us..
"How's Minji?" Yunho asked as he took the place right next time, both of us standing up
I gave out a sigh as I looked at the house
"She hasn't come back from the house yet.. You don't think .. something happened.. do you?" I asked a bit worried
Yunho looked at the house
"How long has it been?"
I shrugged
"Ever since she.. killed her father.. she hasn't.. said anything and she asked us to leave her alone .. She needed some time" I said
"But give her that.. I guess she just .. wants to have her own space right now. She found her childhood house.. Let her just think and.. fight her feelings"
I sighed
"How's your head?" Yunho asked
I smiled
"I'm alright. I still can't believe that I was in coma.." I said a bit annoyed
I had missed out a lot during that one month and from my memory, I didn't remember seeing Minji so devastated. Well she looked really devastated when .. I was lying there in her arms but seeing her now was a lot more worse than that moment.. I mean, she .. looks... so.. independent.. and not herself..
"Hey.. is she back yet?" Kibum asked as he came back with the rest of the guys
Both Yunho and I shook our heads
"She's still in there.." I mumbled and threw another glance at the house
"She's been in there for awhile now" Junsu said worriedly
"Let's give her 30 minutes and then we'll check up on her" Yoochun suggested
I nodded
"So.. are you going to tell me how come she managed to get my car, the guns and how she an fight so well?" I asked
All of the guys gave out a sigh
"Uhm.. she was literally training everyday. We thought she just needed some time and something to do in order to relieve the stress and the heartache of hers. She was suffering a lot when you were in coma. As for the car and the guns.. We were just.. careless and didn't think about her.. when we put away the guns. The car I have no idea but it's kind of.. weird and strange that she.. managed to get the tracker off of your car.. " Changmin said
"We never thought she were going to use guns or handle them at all" Yoochun said
"Well she did ask us.. or me to be exactly to teach her bu I refused since she wasn't ready for it. And I didn't want to do anything until we had spoken to you.. and we didn't know how long it were going to take you before you woke up" Yunho said
"Why would she want to... learn all those stuff?" I asked
"Easy.." Kibum said as he folded his arms across his chest
"What?" Junsu asked
"She.. wants to become one of us" Kibum said
I felt my mouth hanging wide open
"WHAT?!" All 5 of us chorused
"Man guys.. why would she even ask you then? Think of the training, she was putting herself through hard training and she didn't ask any of us for help. So she must have attended some kind of class or maybe she just watched.. movies or something. I don't know. And she learned herself to concentrate and stay focused during her training. You remember the injuries and small wounds she had ? She didn't let it affect her. And now when you mentioned about the guns, it just makes it all obvious" Kibum said
I let out a heavy sigh
"Why does she want to do that? Why does she wants to become one of us? Doesn't she know how dangerous it is?" I said frustrated
Everyone stayed quiet
"It might look easy but it's a hell of a job, it takes so much more than just strength. Focus, mind, feelings.. Concentration. Knowledge .. " I said
"I guess it's because of her past.." Junsu said and looked up
Everyone looked at him
"She just wants to help people that has been through the same thing as her. And help innocent people at all I think" Junsu said
"But it's so dangerous. I won't be able to let her.. do that.. not with us.. I will be worrying about her all the time" I said
"You're overreacting.. With the right kind of training, I do believe she will be able to become a strong person, emotionally and physically.. We just need to have faith in her" Junsu said
"Are you siding her?" Yunho asked surprised
Junsu swallowed. It wasn't like Junsu to side with someone like that, especially when the whole group was against it since all of us knew the possibilities, and the danger that was fooling us out there. But why would he be like this all of sudden?
"Junsu Wae? Wae?" Yoochun asked
Junsu then straightened himself up and looked at us
"I remember that she came to me.. asking me to teach her about self defense. She said something about you Hyung.. that you said to her that she has to become independent and something about knowing where the limit of fear is.. That she shouldn't be scared of everything. Well it's good to be careful but being too careful will make her loose opportunities. Hyung, you don't want her to rely on you .. us forever right?" Junsu asked
"I don't mind letting her rely on me forever" I said gritting my teeth
The reason for my anger? I know where Junsu were heading and I know that he was right
"Hyung, you need to put yourself in her position as well. I do understand that you just want the best for her, you don't want her to get hurt, you don't want her to .. feel unsafe.. U know the entire 'How-to-protect-Minji book' but Hyung, you need to let her.. give her a chance to become independent. What if we can't be there for her? When we're not there.. she has to be able to think herself and such.. Take care of herself" Junsu said
I was gritting my teeth really badly right now
"Well Junsu's right" Kibum agreed
"Thank god for someone agreeing with me" Junsu said relieved
I rolled my eyes
"Junsu's.... right" Yoochun mumbled slowly
I stared at Yoochun. He just shrugged and gave me the 'What-to-do' look. I looked at Changmin and Yunho and they sighed. They were on Junsu's and Minji's side
I groaned
"Come on guys.. You know that she's not.. that capable of being alone and such"
"JaeJoong, A: You're thinking too much B: you're being too overprotective C: you need to give her a chance" Kibum said
I folded my arms across my chest and closed my eyes just to stay calm
"She has changed" Yunho said
"I don't care" I said stubbornly
"Hyung we all know you love her but you still.. need to give her.. a chance. She was fragile once, maybe she still is.. but she's becoming the person she wants to be. You really don't want that do you?" Changmin said
"This argument.. is really a waste of time" I said and faced them
"I agree. But do you know WHY we're having this argument? It's all because of you" Kibum said
"What?" I said and raised an eyebrow at him
He snickered
"You see, your problem is that you don't want her to do anything cause your fear about her health and all her emotions, her past etc. are strong. It's beyond limit if you ask me. You're afraid that she might slip into the same situation she faced in the past. But you know people learn to MOVE ON.. We all know that you want her to rely on us but Junsu got a point there. So does Yunho. A girl needs to be independent. And you know what? I think you should give her that chance. She will be strong in the future, she will learn how to take care of herself. Actually she already knows that.. so.. you just need to chill and let her come out of her shell. I know you're worrying about her health but so far there hasn't been any damages or injuries or whatsoever so .. "
"Kibum shut up. I'm not changing my mind. Only when Donghae says it's ok I will let her do whatever. If she wants to become one of us.. then fine with me.."
Ok it wasn't fine with me cause I knew that whenever we're out on a mission, I would only think about her and worrying about her and she is my weakness
"She's your weakness. DOn't deny it" Kibum said as if he just read my mind
I looked at him
"LEt her go man. Let her do what she wants too. If she wants to become one of us, in order to help others, I don't think you have ANY reason to stop her" Kibum said
"Make me" I said
"I will"
All of us spun around as Minji approached us. I swallowed hard as she appeared in front of us. You know.. I know that this moment wasn't the right moment but she looked.. really nice in that outfit. Not to mention the eyes of hers. Is that really the same eyes that once were scared of people`?
"In 2 days, You and I will have a battle"
"What?" All guys chorused
Minji folded her arms across her chest and raised an eyebrow
"She.. has.. an attitude" Yunho said a bit shocked
"Are you really Minji?" I asked slowly
"I am Minji Park and I am going to challenge you JaeJoong. If I win.. You will let me become one of you.."
She stepped up so close to me that I could feel her warm breathing onto me. I was getting nervous
"If I don't.. I will do as you wish"
