I stared at both of the girls, not believing my eyes at the moment. They were indeed looking exactly like each other, except for the hair and the eyes and her sisters dimples. Her sister looked younger though.. About 2-3 years apart I think..
"What's your name?" Kibum asked, since someone had to break the silence
The girl broke the gaze and turned her head towards Kibum. She didn't answer Kibum's question
"Minji? You might should get off of her" I said and slowly helped Minji to stand up and prevent her from using the knife. Although when I had taken away the knife and were helping Minji up, in a blink of an eye, Minji's sister (I think) used this chance to get herself up and she back flipped away from us and stopped herself, took out a knife, prepared for another fight.
Minji who was still in shock had no idea what to do. Her sister's mask was gone now and the hairtie has loosened and her hair was going with the wind freely
Minji immediately pushed me away and she took out another knife from her boots that she was wearing, sharpening her gaze at the girl and both of them stayed in the position they were in
"Who are you?!" Both of them chorused
"Minji can't remember her sister.. and her sister doesn't seem to recognize her even though they look alike" Changmin mumbled as all of us were watching the girls
"IT's because they parted when she was little. Of course none of them can remember each other. In Minji's case we already know that but in her sister's case.. it's because they parted when her sister was still a baby or something and.. she can't really remember how Minji looked like besides, both of them are grown up now of course they wouldn't know!" Yunho said
"Hmm.. I do wonder why she's standing up and ready to attack again.." Kibum said
I looked at the girls who was staring at each other
"We need to like.. do something.. She's probably very similar to Minji. She was sold into trafficking too right ? And now she can even fight that means she must have escaped .." I said
I walked towards Minji and took the place next to her. Minji didn't let me disturb her concentration and she didn't look away until she saw me lowering her knife
"What are you doing JaeJoong?" She said with her eyes still fixed on her sister
"I'm trying out something. We think it's your sister" I said
"My sister?" Minji asked shockingly
I nodded
"The similarities of both of you are so obvious that it is scary. I Think she used to be like you cause I remember that Kyuhyun told us that your sister was sold into trafficking too"
Minji loosened up and I saw her relaxing, almost pitying her sister
"So.. you think.. it's.. my sister?" Minji asked me once more
I nodded
"Stay here"
I walked slowly towards her sister as her sister were watching me. She had seen everything but I don't know if she heard all of it. I approached her and I remembered how Minji used to be. I stopped about 5 feet away and was looking at her relaxed. I was prepared just in case she would do something but I doubt it
"What's your name?"
She stared at me
"I'm JaeJoong. These guys are my friends, Yunho, Changmin, Yoochun, Junsu and that is Minji.."
As I was saying I was pointing but not even for a second did I turn away, I kept my eyes on her all the time, observing every move she was doing. I was watching her reactions as well but there was no change, expressionless. I don't know if it's she's good at pretending or if her face was just like that. At least Minji showed me some kind of reaction. But she was very similar to Minji. She was quiet and her eyes were observing every inch my body was doing
"We're not here to hurt you or fight"
"Why are you here?" She asked
The tone wasn't a friendly one but it wasn't a mean one. Just.. dead.. in a way
"I came to find Minji. Her father took her away from me. He was the right hand of Mr L. Mr L is dead. Kibum, my friend over there killed him about a month ago" I said and folded my arms across my chest
"Mr L?... Dead?" The girl stuttered
I don't know if she sounded relieved or if she was just surprised that he was actually dead
"Yes. We .. killed Mr L. Minji disappeared and came to this place.. to the house where she used to live when she was younger. She wanted some answers to her past but her father was there and that man isn't in his right mind. Minji killed him a few hours ago"
I saw the girl lowering her knife and soon she was standing straight, her face so shocked and pale that it looked like she were about to faint
"Dad... Sister.. Minji?" She asked
"What's your name?" I asked
The girl kept looking at me, I saw her fist around the knife hardened
"Mr L is dead..." She whispered
I took one step closer and she immediately reacted and looked at me
I held up both of my hands
"I'm not here to hurt you. I just want to talk"
She kept looking at me
"Min Young" She answered
"Min Young, that's your name?" I asked
She nodded
"What are you doing out here all alone?" Changmin suddenly asked
I looked behind me to see everyone was standing right behind me at the moment
Min Young didn't retreat, her position was the same but I could tell that the worse were already over
"I'm hiding" She whispered
"From who?" Yunho asked
"Mr L.. and.. that man in the house" She said
"Who was he to you?" Junsu asked
Min Young's eyes soon shifted over to Minji and she looked at her for a long time
"That was my father too"
Minji dropped her knife onto the ground and stared at Min Young
"Is that my sister?" Min Young asked and looked at me
"I think so.. if that man in the house, the right hand of Mr L.. Then it's your father, which means both of you are sisters" I said
Min Young lowered her knife and took one step closer and she looked at Minji
Both of them looked at each other for a long time
"I feel like I know you.. but yet I can't remember how you looked like" Min Young whispered
Minji was crying, shedding tears that was running down her beautiful face. I was trying to not interrupt this moment since I knew it meant a lot to her
"How come you're out here all alone?" Yunho asked
Min Young forced herself to look away from her sister and faced Yunho
"I needed somewhere to hide so that they wouldn't find me" She whispered barely audible
Suddenly Min Young gasped and all of us followed her gaze and she stared at Kibum. Kibum just raised an eyebrow
"Is there a problem?" He asked
That sounded harsh and mean, did he really have to be that cold?
"Aren't you.. Luna's..."
Kibum instantly froze and his arms that were crossed across his chest immediately loosened and fell to the sides. His eyes widened shock and I looked at the other guys
"Luna? Is that.. the..." Junsu started but Kibum shot Junsu a deathglare and he immediately shut up
"How do you know her?" Kibum asked
"She.. was my friend" Min Young said
"Friend?" Kibum asked
He was trying to keep up the voice of his, not allowing it to shake and tremble but I could hear it was hard not to mention that he was now folding both of his fists and the entire body was trying to stand up
"I'm Sorry Kibum ah~ I did everything I could"
Min Young lowered her head. I looked at the other guys who was showing pity in their faces. So Luna was Min Young's friend and the girl that Kibum loved..
Kibum let out a sigh and he suddenly spun around and walked away from there, he couldn't help but to let out the tears that was falling now due to the memories of Luna
"I'm sure you did everything you could" Kibum whispered from afar
