"I am seriously going to chain her when she gets back so that she can never run away again!" I said as I darted into the livingroom, throwing the papers on the table and groaned with frustration.
"Calm down Hyung.. Min Young gave us a call and told us that they're fine and they'll be back soon. Minji and Min Young had some stuff to take care about so don't worry" Junsu said
"You.. Shut up" I said and threw the pillow at him
"No I was born with a mouth for a reason HELLO~~!!" Junsu said
I rolled my eyes
It has already been 4 days and I was getting really really mad. The past few days was driving me crazy and I couldn't do anything, I couldn't sit down, i couldn't cook or watch tv or anything. I was so hooked up, wondering what was taking them so long. In the beginning, Yunho and Kibum was pretty overworked as well but somehow they suddenly changed and started to relax and I was the ONLY ONE who was frustrated
"I wonder what they're doing. Seems like it's important if it's going to take them such a long time to finish their business" Yoochun said
"And what's so secret about it anyways, we already know everything, not to mention that we're involved so why can't we join them as well?!" I said
"Hyung, they don't want to be found ok? Min Young was smart enough to call us from a phonebooth close to the location where we found your destroyed tracker" Changmin said
"Gosh, none of the stuff that you're saying are going to make me calm down anyways. I might as well go to the gym" I sighed
That's what I've been doing the past few days in order to loosen up and hoping that the days would pass so much faster. I've been working out and training since I needed to release the anger of mine..
As I was about to go, with my training bag in my hands the phone suddenly started to call and Changmin was the first to answer and he even turned on the speaker
"Changmin Imnida~~"
"Oh.. Is this the.. uhm.. resident of the 6 guys that lives with Min Young and Minji?" A Guy spoke
My eyes widened in shock and I stared at the guys
"Uhm Yes? Who's this?" Changmin answered
"Oh, Annyeong haseo, Hyun Joong Imnida~~"
I panicked since it was a male who called and I flew right next down to the phone
"WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE GIRLS?!!?!?" I shouted
"HYUNG CALM DOWN!!" Yoochun said
"Sir, There's no need to be worried. I'm calling on behalf of the girls here" Hyun Joong said
"On behalf of the girls?" Yunho asked
"Yes, I believe that there was a fight awaiting a certain JaeJoong~ssi. May I speak to him?"
All the guys turned their eyes to me and I stared at the phone. The fight?! Between me and Minji? What fight?
"JaeJoong here" I said and swallowed
"Annyeong haseo JaeJoong~ssi, Hyun Joong Imnida. I'm calling on behalf of the girls. A fight between you and Minji is awaiting and I believe that you're prepared for this battle?"
"What battle?" I said and raised an eyebrow
Yunho hit me ont he head and I looked at him
"The battle about showing how independent Minji is and she wants to become one of us and she forced you to fight her" Yunho whispered
I stared at him and then back at the phone
"WHat?" I gritted my teeth
"Mr JaeJoong~ssi? Are you still there?" Hyun Joong asked
"Yes Yes.. I am here" I said
"The battle will take place tomorrow, down by the green big field, about 2 miles from the place where you found the destroyed tracker. Please be prepared at 8 pm in the evening. Square and fair play, no tricks or cheating"
"Can I speak to Minji?" I asked
"No she's busy. Thank you for taking time. I'll see you tomorrow"
I stared at the phone as the line went dead and soon Changmin pressed the cancel button and all of us were silent.
"So this is what the girls has been doing the past few days. Minji and Min Young has been training.. haven't they?" Junsu asked
"Seems like and she was serious about the fight wasn't she?" Kibum asked
"Well according to this phone call she is. She even asked this.. Hyun Joong call us for her. Why didn't she call herself?" Changmin asked
"Cause she were afraid to speak to me , anything that would make her change her mind or something. she knows that I would refuse to fight her but now if we want to see her we have to go there" I said
"What are you going to do hyung?" Yunho asked as I stood up
"I don't know. But I don't want to fight her" I said and stood up
"But what if that's the only chance to convince her that these mission, OUR SO CALLED JOBS aren't the right thing for her to do?" Kibum asked
I sighed
"I can't fight her. What if I.. hurt her? I'd rather commit suicide than touch a hairstrand on her that would make her injured.. chincha..! Otoke?!" I said and fell down on the floor feeling a lot more tired than I was
"Hyung, you should be prepared just in case.. Seems like Minji really wants this" Yunho said
"But I don't .. I refuse to FIGHT HER! FIGHT! Do you understand the meaning of the word?! Attack, Punch, Kick, make her injured, make her feel helpless!!!" I said
"But maybe all you have to do is.. to defend yourself until she gets.. exhausted, make her give up? Force her to in that way she won't win" Yoochun suggested
"But if you do that, you still need to loosen up those strings around her, you're holding onto her too tightly.. you need to let her breathe a bit" Kibum said
"Gosh.. " I said annoyed
"He's right Hyung.. maybe we should reconsider where we could draw the line and the limit of HOW PROTECTIVE we should be over her" Junsu said
"It's hard.. after all that she's been through, I just don't want her to end up in the same shape that she was when we first found her" I mumbled
"Then let her prove that she isn't in the same shape then. You can fight her but be careful to not injure her" Kibum suggested
"And how am I suppose to do that? I always turn off the feelings whenever I fight cause in that way I'm able to focus a lot more than just.. you know.. like this.." I said
"Then you have to turn on your feelings tomorrow and turn off your mind. Fight her but don't hurt her. That's all you have to do" Kibum said
I was standing on the sideline of the big green field, seeing the sun setting as I saw from afar, three creatures were approaching. Min Young, Minji and probably that Hyun joong guy. I wasn't excited, I wasn't angry I was just scared
"Breathe hyung.." Yoochun encouraged
I was prepared though, I was wearing my black outfit, and I was ready to fight. But I wasn't ready to loose or win against her. As they approached all of our eyes, mine Yoochun's, Yunhos, yes everyone's eyes widened in shock when we saw Min Young and Minji approaching with a rich guy.
He was rich, all of us could tell since his hair was perfectly styled, his rolex on his wrist, a faboulous ring and a nice necklace, neatly fitting around his neck. A white shirt, black pants and nice matching shoes. His jacket looked extremely expensive, a brand new jacket if you ask me..
Minji was wearing a black outfit, black boots with a small heel and she was even wearing some make-up. Her hair was neatly tied high a bit higher on her head, the rest of the hair flowing freely from the knot on her head. She was even wearing make-up. She looked so.. confident..
And Min Young she was looking exactly the same just a bit shorter than Minji
"Whoa... is that.. You?" Junsu asked right away when they stopped in front of us
The atmosphere loosened up when Minji and Min Young started to laugh
"It's us"
"You look so.. different" Changmin said and viewed her from head to toe
Soon Minji turned herself to me and looked at me
"Hi Jae"
"Uhm.. heell o o " I stammered
"annyeong haseo" Hyun joong greeted
"Hi" I gulped
"Let's get going shall we?" Hyun joong suggested
I stared at him
"Wait wait.. Who are you and what are you doing here?" Kibum asked him
Hyun Joong smiled
"Hyun Joong Imnida~ Specialized agent in FBI. I'm not on a mission or any case right now so I took the girls in. I've known Min Young for quite some time now so that's why i agreed to take the girls in. Min Young is like a sister to me and when she brought Minji back with her I was more than happy to meet her blood related sister"
"And.. you're here because?" Yunho asked slowly, acting very suspicious
"Yunho ah~ He's not dangerous. He's just going to watch the fight" Minji said softly
I stared at her and then at the guys
"And why do you even have to be present?" Junsu asked slowly a bit dumbfounded
Hyun Joong chuckled
"Just curious" He smiled
"He's not dangerous. he took care of me.. he's like a big brother" Min Young said
"Fine" Yunho snapped
Across the field I saw Minji preparing herself and I was surrounded by the guys, they were trying to talk to me but I didn't hear them and no words were coming in. I was scared about the result. What was waiting .. and what she were going to do..
"Seems like she's been trained by him.. Min Young told me he's skilled in a lot of areas when it comes to fighting, martial arts and everything" Changmin mumbled as he looked at me
"I don't give a damn.. I'm not letting her win but I'm not gonna hurt her either" I said coldly
"Just... just.. concentrate on exhausting her. Do whatever and exhaust her out.." Yunho said
"I will"
Suddenly I saw Hyun Joong coming over, holding something looking like a stick. BUt as he approached I saw it was a sword.
"Here you go"
"What's that for?!?!?!" All 6 of us chorused
"Well you might need it. Fair and square right?" He asked a bit confused
"I'm not gonna hurt her!" I shouted
"THen don't. It's up to you" He shrugged
He gave it to Yoochun who was standing close to him and then started to walk back. I heard Hyun Joong soon whistle and it was time for me and Minji to meet in the middle..
I stopped in front of her and closed my eyes in order to calm myself down
"Minji.. I don't wanna do this" I said
"Then don't" She said softly
"I'm going to hurt you" I said and looked at her
She smirked
"Are you sure about that?" She smirked
"What makes you feel so confident about this battle? It's not even necessary!" I said, almost pleading her to stop this childish game
"Then all you have to do is to agree that I will become one of you and that's it.. we don't need to fight"
"Stop Minji"
She smirked
"Well.."
Suddenly I heard her sharp sword being brought out, the plastic safety that was protecting you from cutting yourself on the sword were thrown away. My reflexes reacted immediately and my sword met hers. A sharp sound was heard and it echoed away with the wind. She was quick, very smart and had good balance. It was a lot better than before, she has been training hard. She attacked, I defended. She attacked again and I defended
"ATTACK ME JAE!!" She shouted angrily
"NO! I'M NOT GONNA HURT YOU!" I shouted back
She was annoyed and continued to fight me, the swords blades were heard, as if it was echoing through a speaker, it was so loud. I then found my chance to make her loos her sword and in a second she had lost it. She stared at it but quickly gathered her courage back and she ran towards me, flipped over and I was in shock.
And before I knew it, my sword was lying on the grass as well
"Not bad huh?" She chuckled
I stared at her
She started to attack me, Punches coming from everywhere, kicks as well and I kept defending myself. I then grabbed a hold of both of her shoulders, made myself flip over to the other side and I spun around and faced her. She looked confused and didn't look pleased. Seems like she thought she was winning. I couldn't help but to smile at her
"I guess someone is underestimating me" I snickered
She got angry, flipped herself over to where I was and started to attack me again, determined, quick moves.
After fighting each other for 30 minutes I couldn't understand why she wasn't feeling exhausted. I was sweating and so was she but there was no sign of her being tired
"ATTACK ME! I'm NOT GONNA LET THIS PASS!!"
"I'M NOT ATTACKING!!!" I shouted back
"I HATE YOU JAEJOONG!!"
I froze
"Wh a a t?"
"I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU! YOU HEAR ME?!"
I stared at her
No she's speaking nonsense just to get to my head. She was provoking me now
"DON'T LISTEN TO HER ! SHE'S TRYING TO PROVOKE YOU IN ORDER TO LET YOURSELF RELEASE THE ANGER!!" Kibum shouted
I then remembered what she had done to Kibum and what had happened after that. He had lost his control and she had bumped her head onto the stone wall and she had ended up in hospital. I was forcing myself to not listen to her
"I HATE YOU! I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH YOU!!!"
I got a bit annoyed and just as she wanted I started to attack, not that I wanted to hurt her but just to please her and just to make her quit saying those stuff
"You don't .. . know... what.. you're... talking.. about" I breathed between as I kept attacking
"I .. know.. exactly... what.. I'm talking .. about" She breathed
Suddenly she managed to sneak in a punch and I fell down onto the lawn. As I got up on my two feet she suddenly had the sword in her hands again. I ducked, moving to the sides, anything in order to not let her win. I wasn't going to let her make one single scratch on my body cause that would probably make her feel like she had won the entire thing. I decided that it was over, I didn't want to play anymore. Without hurting her, I jumped over her, hurried over to where I had lost my sword earlier and grabbed it. I started to smoothly attack her, defend myself, exhausting her out..
For about an hour it finally seemed to work cause she finally started to become a bit slower. But so was I
The blades of the swords kept hitting each other and there was no doubt that it was getting more and more intense
She attacked me again and I met her sword halfways. As we were holding the swords against each other I leaned forward
"Give Up Minji.. I'm not letting you do this.. Why can't you just understand that these kinds of stuff are dangerous?"
"Why is it bothering you so much?" She breathed
I sighed
"I love you.. I want to be able to protect you. As a guy, you can't take that away from any guy in this world. All guys feel the same way, we want to be able to protect the girl we love"
I saw her soften up a bit and I smiled
"I love you Minji. It's not that I don't want you to do some things, it's just that I feel that this isn't right for you. There's so many other things you can do instead of going out on dangerous missions with us. I understand your intentions and that you want to help people who has been through the same things that you have but it's not as easy as it sounds.. And also, I won't be able to concentrate on helping people since I will be worrying about you.. wondering if you're doing ok.. and such. You have no idea what we have to sacrifice when it comes to these missions.. If 1 out of 5 of us manages to get out, we have to leave the other one behind.. and I know I won't be able to do that if I know you're with me.. Leaving you behind is like leaving half of me.."
I felt her strength that she has been pushing against my sword all this time was loosen and disappearing. we were just holding it against each other now
"You have no idea how much you have to sacrifice in this. Turn off your feelings, your heart and your personal reasons and just Work.. I won't be able to do that. You can do whatever you want but these missions are too dangerous.. It's not that I don't want to take the independence away from you.. I just.. care about you a bit too much.. You just need to give me some time in order to loosen up those strings that I have around you..."
I caressed her cheek with my left hand since I was still holding the right sword with my right one, having it against her sword
"So this is.. what you've been feeling all along?" She asked slowly
I nodded
"Well I kind of realized it during the days you were gone.. So I all I ask from you is time.. so please.. give it some time..? This is unnecessary.. and I think you know it too.." I said slowly
Minji smiled at me and I leaned forward in order to kiss her but I suddenly felt her sword not meeting mine anymore. I opened my eyes to see everything in slowmotion.
She dropped her sword and I stared at her as she suddenly fell forwards and I caught her in my arms, dropping the sword as well
"Minji?! MINJI?!!?" I shouted as I caught her
"MINJI!!!!!!!!!!!"
"UNNI!!!"
"MINJI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
