Three days later Minji was discharged from the hospital and were able to come home. we had been talking to Donghae and a few nurses and since DOnghae recommended both of us decided to attend classes for pregnant women. And it was necessary for the partner to be there for the pregnant one. I could tell that Minji had totally forgotten what have happened at the battle day since she was just overwhelmed that she was now pregnant and she seemed to be so happy about it. I couldn't help but keep smiling myself cause I find it so adorable that she was so happy and excited.
When we finally reached home, we walked hand in hand into the house and to my surprise I found everyone in the livingroom
"You're home" Min Young smiled
She ran over and hugged Minji tightly and both girls giggled. I have to say, having girls at our house was definitely different compared to how it was before. I couldn't help but enjoy it. I then saw the serious facial expressions on the guys faces . Yunho mouthed me that it was important and I looked at the girls
"Hey Min young ah how about you take Minji upstairs and help her change clothes and such?" I suggested
Min Young nodded
"Kah Ja" She smiled to Minji
I planted a kiss on Minji's forehead
"Easy now ok?" I smiled
She nodded
"I'll be with you in a few" I said
She nodded
As soon as the girls had disappeared and their giggling had faded I walked over to the couch and sat down and faced the guys
"Something's not right?" I asked immediately
"Not really Hyung.. we've been talking.. a lot" Changmin said
"About what?"
"About this whole.. mission.. thing" Yunho said
I quieten
Kibum was holding Luna's notebook in his hands but seemed like it hadn't been open cause all Kibum was doing was holding onto it and nothing else
"What about it?" I asked
"Have you considered how the future will look like from now on?" Yoochun asked and looked at me
"The same I suppose?" I asked
Yoochun shook his head
"I don't think that is possible. Hyung, these missions that we're daily putting ourselves through are dangerous. We don't have just each other to think and care about anymore. We have Minji in our lives now.. not to mention your future kid" Yoochun said
I let out a sigh as I laid back on the couch and grabbed the pillow that was lying close to me and put it on my lap and I embraced it
"So.. what are you saying?" I asked
"We have to make a choice" Junsu said slowly
"A choice?" I asked
Kibum sighed
"You can't keep doing these missions if you're going to be a dad. Minji needs you now and after that as well. Your future kid needs you too and I don't think it's such a good idea to keep on doing the things we do. You will putting yourself through risks everyday and if you were to .. uhm.. pass away, there would be no one to be there for Minji or your kid and we don't think that you want your kid to grow up without a dad right?" Kibum said
"And also, we wouldn't have the conscience to bring you with us without being extra careful and concerned about you since you have a lot more to loose right now than you had before" Yunho said
I stared at the guys
"And making Minji worry about you when you're out is unnecessary. She doesn't need that. She's going to need a lot of support and she needs you by her side" Junsu said
"So you're saying that I didn't have a lot to loose when I didn't have her as well?" I asked a bit shocked
"Hyung that's not what we meant" Changmin started but I cut him off
"I've been afraid of loosing something everyday and that is you guys. I care about you guys as much as I care about Minji. The only thing is.. You're my brothers and she's my .. girlfriend.. The love I have for the two of you are different but it's strong. Even if I'm out on a mission it's not like I wouldn't care if nothing would happen to you or anyone of us.." I said
"Hyung we know exactly what you're talking about. calm down.." Yoochun said
I took a deep breath
"We're just saying that.. it'll become a lot more different now when it was before. We all knew that Minji would change our lives but.. this is.. for a lifetime now. You're.. having a kid soon.. And Minji.. well she's going to need you.." Yunho said
"She'll need you guys too" I said and looked straight at them
They all quieten
"Don't you think for a second that she will let go of you too. If I stick by her, you guys are coming with me cause I know that she cares a lot about you and I don't want my kid growing up without someone to play with or without any uncles, Hyung or Oppa.. or whatsoever" I said
"We have to consider Minji now.. and I don't think I have the heart to ... actually leave her either.. in order to keep going with these missions.. I care a lot about her. We all do.. We have been discussing this a lot and we need to come down to a solution" Yunho said
"to quit with the missions.. completely?" I asked
"And return to a normal life. Get a job, earn money, take care of the family.." Kibum said
"Get our own apartments.. and houses.. but still be close" Junsu said
"Get a normal.. life back" Yoochun whispered
"You're saying you didn't like the life of helping people through these missions?" I chuckled
Yoochun shook his head
"aniyo.. I loved it. I loved the feeling of knowing that you actually managed to accomplish and save the person, that adrenaline when you were fighting and if you were in the bad mood you could always take out the anger on the criminals" Yoochun chuckled
I laughed quietly
"Not to mention how many kids we were saving daily.." Junsu said
"And we learning so much everyday.. Life lessons.. some stuff that we're able to take with us.. everywhere" CHangmin said
"We've accomplished a lot" Kibum said
"But the most important thing.. we met people who changed our lives.." Yunho said
All of us turned to look at him
"People?" I asked
"Minji and Min Young" Yunho said
"Ah.. Right I forgot~" I said slowly
"Well Min Young hasn't done that much.. to us.. except.. you" Kibum grinned widely and looked at Yunho
Yunho sat up straight and threw Kibum a death glare as Kibum burst out into laughter
Soon everything clicked inside of my head and seems like it did to the others as well cause Yunho was red like a tomato and now I had the answers to why he was so harsh on Hyun Joong
"Is there something going on between you two that we don't know about?" I smirked
Yunho laughed nervously
"Not.. uh.. really.."
"Yet" Kibum finished for him
"Shut up will you?" Yunho said
I rolled my eyes
The silence took over as we listened to the girls talking and laughing upstairs. I looked around in the house and thought about it. I knew they were right. I were going to have a family that were going to need me, my fully support and love and I had to take care of them. But I had to give up the life on going out for missions.. then
"Do you miss that life? The normal life?" Changmin asked
"Haven't.. really had a chance to miss it cause we're so used to this now.." Yoochun said
I nodded in agreement
"Exactly"
"But.. do you think it's enough.. ?" Changmin asked
"It has to end someday" Junsu shrugged
"And I think.. that Minji and Min Young are actually the call for it" Yunho said
"You think?" i asked
"Look we can always put the stuff away.. keep them and such but we should.. stop.. now for the time being. We have other stuff we need to concentrate on.. and it has to end someday.." Yunho said
"So that's final?" Changmin asked
"Final" Kibum said and stretched out his hand waiting for the rest of us to put it on his
We all smiled as we looked at each other, soon placing our hands in the middle. We had to leave the past in order to begin a new one..
With that decided we decided to clean up. Yoochun were going to look for apartments, close to each other so that we didn't have to separate and the rest started to clean and pack down the equipments. The sooner the better or else we would probably get too emotional and wouldn't be able to break away from it cause afterall this is what we have been doing for the past few years..
I decided to go upstairs to check up on Minji but as I walked, I saw Kibum going disappearing to the back door and out to the garden. I saw him taking a deep breath and he sat down. I followed him and watched him from the window..
Seems like he was finally going to read Luna's notebook..
"It took you long enough.." I mumbled
