the lab. “What were you doing research on, last time?” Sun Ye asked. “Oh...” Sun Mi flicked her laptop
on, “chemical.” “Ah...” Sun Ye nodded, “i guess you should continued on that, then.” “I'll do research on Han
Kyung,” Yoo Bin volunteered.
“I-” Sun Ye started, but Ye Eun cut in. “YOU aren't doing anything, so don't even volunteer,” So Hee agreed,
moving every paper and book away from Sun Ye, “We wouldn't want your arm to start bleeding again.”“Sure...”
she sighed, too tired to argue, “whatever.”
For a whole afternoon, they sat in the lab, skimming papers, reading articles, researching. It wasn't
until seven, that Sun Ye finally got up from where she sat, and left the room.
“Where's she going?” So Hee looked up from her glasses. Sun Mi didn't bother to look away from her computer
screen, “Ah, she'll be okay. Don't worry about her so much.” “What if...” So Hee went on, “what if...she's in pain...?
After all...her cut-” A loud crash was heard, and Ye Eun dropped her sheets of paper, jumping out of her seat, “I'll
go check.”
Ye Eun was running downstairs, when she had realized it was taking too long. “Aish,” she muttered,
getting a grip of the rail, and jumped over the side of the stairs. Not stopping for a breath, she ran into the kitchen
and found Sun Ye cooking. “Yah!” Ye Eun exclaimed after a couple of deep breaths, “what are you doing?!”
“Cooking.”
“Why...?!”
“Why not...?”
... Ye Eun paused... “What...?”
“I wanted to cook,” Sun Ye sighed, “besides, i was getting hungry, so i figured you guys would probably be hungry
too. And it didn't seem like any of you guys were going to get to it anytime soon.” Ye Eun laughed, relieved that
nothing bad had happened, “What was with the crash, then?”
“Oh...yea...mybad about that...I accidentally dropped the pan.”
“Aish...!” Ye Eun continued to laugh, “you startled us for a second there.” “Mian he, ah,” Sun Ye began to set the
table, “i didn't mean to.” For a second or so, no one said anything, then Ye Eun sighed at last, “I'll go get the others
to come eat.”

“What do you mean? You don't want to wear the uniforms...?” Principal Yoochun stared blankly at the
five. “Aish...!” Yoo Bin quickly ran a hand through her hair. “They're...” Sun Mi began, “...how would you say it...-
” “HIDEOUS,” So Hee said straightforwardly. He laughed, “So you're rebelling against these uniforms...because
they're-” “HIDEOUS,” So Hee repeated. “Hideous...?” Yoochun repeated after So Hee. “That's the point,” Sun Ye set
the uniforms on his desk. “Uh...huh,” he folded his hands across his desk, “fine with me. We needed janitors-
” “Wait-” Yoo Bin interrupted, “what?!” Yoochun smirked, “Meet back here, directly after school, arasso?” Yoo Bin
stood up, about to protest, but Sun Ye quickly answered, “Arasso.” And pulled them out of the office, just as the
bell rang to report to class.
They walked in, late, and Yoo Bin handed Ms. Hwang a pass. She nodded politely, even though her eyes
seemed to glare at them, and said, “Have a seat.” Yoo Bin irritatedly walked over to the nearest empty seat, and
threw her things on the desk. Then she fell back into her seat, and let out sigh, as someone tapped on her
shoulder. She turned herself half-way around, to see who it was. “Remember me...?” he smirked. Clearly, she
remembered him, that idiot the other day who was acting like a jackass. But she was too pissed off this morning,
to say 'Yes, jacka$$, you're the one from the bar that wouldn't give me my goddamn shoe', so instead she simply
sighed, “Sure, why not.” “Yoo Bin...!” Ms. Hwang pointed a ruler at her, “who gave you permission to talk?” Yoo Bin
looked away from her ruler, “Who gave me permission not to?” “Kim Yoo Bin!” she declared, “this is your one and
only warning, do NOT talk while I'm lecturing.” “Alright,” she nodded, “okay. Happy? Of course, go on with
your 'lecturing'.”
[author's note: ...I'm gonna start writing from Sun Ye's point of view from here on out. Why?
Iono, i like it better that way, for some reason ]
Sun Mi couldn't help but laugh at Yoo Bin, and...hey, i wouldn't blame her. I even kinda laughed, under my breath,
that is. I've never seen a teacher this irritated before- maybe because I've never gone to school before, and this
was the first, but i had to admit...maybe school wasn't so bad after all. And THIS was one GREAT way to start off
the class, right? A pissed off teacher who picked on the only people who WEREN'T dressed in uniforms- meaning:
Me, Yoo Bin, So Hee, Ye Eun, not really Sun Mi, because she actually LISTENED to the lecture, and she actually
bothered to answer instead of shrugging off the question. But what I've noticed, is that...she NEVER picked on any
one of the other five non-dressed people in the class. The five guys that sat at the back of the class, one of them
being Seung Hyun.
Directly after class, we left to the principal's office, and he looked surprised to see us. Which, i didn't
think he would. After all, he HAD told us to meet here.
“I see you showed up,” he said. “Of course,” i answered. “We wouldn't want to ditch this crap,” Yoo Bin
muttered. “Ah,” he laughed, “and yet you decided to rebel against uniforms...why?”-that was obviously sarcasm he
was speaking, but i guess So Hee didn't take it that way.
“Get to the bottom of this...” she kicked a chair out of her way. As if right on cue, the door opened, and a woman
stepped in with brooms and mops.
“Pick one,” Yoochun laughed, “any one.” Yoo Bin took the brooms and mops out of the woman's hands, and
handed each of us one. “You think you're funny, eh?” Yoo Bin laughed at Yoochun, “why don't you do us all a
magic trick, and make yourself disappear...? Then you'll be HILARIOUS.”
“Or,” he snatched the broom out of Yoo Bin's hand, “I'll make you disappear.”
I stepped in,at this point, and took the broom away from him handing it back to Yoo Bin. “Words from a principal,
eh...?” i said right into his face, “you're a bad influence to this school, AS a principal.” He stepped back, “Get
cleaning. You guys aren't done until six.” He waved us off, “Until then.”

“What kind of a principal THREATENS his students...?!” Sun Mi exclaimed, pushing trash around with her broom.
“A mother f-”
“That wasn't an actual question,” i interrupted Yoo Bin, who claimed her arm hurt too much to sweep OR
mop. “Yah,” Ye Eun shoved her mop into the pail of water, “there's no point in cleaning. This school is rich enough
to HIRE someone to clean up after them.” “It doesn't matter,” i mumbled, “we have to clean until six.”
“Unless...” So Hee held a finger up in the air, “we split up, and finish cleaning BEFORE six- so we get to leave
early.”
“Or,” Yoo Bin suggested, “we DON'T clean, and just wait until six then leave.”
“That would be...” Ye Eun took off her necklace, and opened the emblem to check the time, “well...it's two-fifteen
right now...so-”
“Okay,” Yoo Bin surrendered, “okay, let's split up.”
I headed to the supply closet, to drop off the brooms and mops, while Yoo Bin and the rest of them said
they'd wait in the car. “I thought something was wrong with my shoulder,” i muttered to myself, “and yet i have to
do this...” The halls were quiet, and i was sure no one was still in the school-except maybe Yoochun, but i guess i
was wrong, because on the way to the closet, i accidentally tripped and bumped into someone. As unexpected as it
was, i managed to look up and meet him eye to eye. Which i found kinda hard...especially for the fact that he was
a good couple of inches taller and I.
I was at a loss for words...he had the deepest, darkest eyes I've ever seen. Almost as dark as coal-to be exact.
And because of his dark, dark eyes- i shifted my eyes off of his, and noticed that he wore a plain white tank that
seemed incredibly tight on him. The saddest part was that he wore a jacket over his tank, leaving you thinking
about how incredible his biceps would've looked...
Either it had suddenly gotten chilly or he caught me staring at him because he zipped up his jacket. I
flushed a bright pink and immediately looked away, hoping someone else was here to break the awkward silence
between us, but no one was in sight. When i had turned back around and my eyes met his, once again; he smirked
and i SWEAR my knees began to quiver as i froze in place. I wish i had said something before he turned around,
and walked off. Leaving me there, pondering upon whether it had been a dream, or if my imagination had
suddenly took over every little cell in my body.
