“I’m not just helping you, I’m helping _______ too.” And with that, he left my apartment
That Onew guy really does love _______, he’s not selfish like me, and he deserves _______s love more than me. I banged my clenched fists on my knee.
“Argh, what should I do?”
I then had a sudden snapshot flashback of Onews serious expression just then. I could see it in his eyes, I could see that he cared about ______ greatly, he cares for her so much that he is willing to give up his heart for her.
I mean, what have I ever done to _______ that is as considerate as what Onew did? Nothing, that’s right, absolutely nothing. I guess I really don’t deserve anyone to love me.
Saturday, your P.O.V
Should I go? Should I go and see Key? I really don’t know what to do, maybe… I will let fate decide what I should do. I grasped my necklace Key had given to me, looked at it, and finally came up with the idea of if I threw the necklace in the air, and it lands on the front, I will go and see Key, but if it lands on the back… I won’t go.
I took a deep breath, and flung the necklace high till it hit the ceiling, as it was falling, it landed in my hands on the front.
I clutched the necklace, grabbed a jacket and ran to the park quickly in order to not be late to see Key. The wind was very strong, it was stopping me from running, the wind was so strong that it eventually blew me over and I landed on the floor. There was now a large cut through my trousers and blood was soaking up the fabric. I placed my hand gently to touch the wound, it was painful, but it wouldn’t be as painful as my heart if I missed my chance to see Key. So I ignored this outer pain, and quickly ran to my destination.
As I arrived at the park, I rested my arms on my hip trying to catch a few breaths. I then looked at my watch hoping that I wasn’t late or anything. 8.01pm, I was late… I can’t believe that I was late…
I started to run around the park screaming for Key, but I just couldn’t run anymore, I felt a throbbing on my leg and eventually I fell onto the ground once again.
“Key…” I shouted for one last time as tears were pouring out from my eyes
I sat on the ground waiting for his reply, but the park was all still and silent. I finally gave up my hope, and lay on the muddy ground not caring about the dirt. I was in this position for about 5 minutes whilst tears continued to flow and form a little puddle on the surface of the ground.
A shadow then appeared above me, when this person came close; I felt a strong sense of warmness. I looked behind my shoulder and saw that it was Lee Jinki.
“_______...” He whispered my name in a husky voice
I looked into his innocent eyes; he reached out his hand to me, and waited for me to take it.
“Key… he didn’t come… he had promised me…and I was late…” I stuttered taking his hand
He heaved me up, and placed his warm hands onto my shoulder. I looked away from him because I didn’t want him to see me cry.
“Look at me…” He wiped away my tears and made me face him, “It’s his loss to not come… ________ don’t give up, you know that there are lots of other people who love you and want you to love them back. And you also know that there is a person like this talking to you right now.”
“Onew…”
“It’s ok; my shoulder is always free for you. Cry all you want.” He gently put pressure on my head and motioned it to his shoulder.
I did not object to this, and I began to cry, I was not only just crying because I didn’t see Key, but I was crying because I had never realized that there was such a nice person who truly loved me like Onew. I felt guilty to choose Key before him.
“I- I don’t deserve someone like you.”
Onews P.O.V
“I- I don’t deserve someone like you.” She sniffed
“There is no such thing as deserving me or not. Everyone deserves to be happy and be with their true love. And, I hope you will realize that-,”
“That my true love is you.” She pressed her lips against mine, and I responded to her kiss, I then slowly wrapped my arms around her waist.
My one and only dream was finally fulfilled. ________ had at last decided to accept me and my love towards her; I’m surely the luckiest person on earth right now.
After she parted from the kiss, I looked at her with my puppy eyes pretending to be cute.
“Is that it? Don’t you think that was a bit too short?”
She pinched my nose and said, “No, you had already kissed me before at school. And it’s not fair; I was forced to kiss you”
“Not really, you were the one who decided to respond to it. I bet it was because I’m such a great kisser right?”
“Of course,” She said sarcastically
“Aha! So I was right.”
“You don’t get sarcasm do you?”
“Well you don’t understand my acting and trying to hide my cleverness do you?”
“Come on, let’s go.” She pulled on my arm
“Where…?”
“Home… to see my brother.”
A large grin appeared on my face, I can’t believe that she showing me to her brother! ________ dragged me half the way to her house, until I struggled out of her grasp, and held her hand leading her instead.
“You don’t even know the way.” She chuckled
“Don’t you know that I have a map installed in my brain?”
“Oh yes, how could I not have remembered.” She said sarcastically again rolling her eyes at my immatureness.
We had finally arrived at ______’s house, as we stepped closer and closer each second, my heart beat faster and faster, I didn’t know what kind of person her brother was, I was afraid that he would not like the two of us being together.
“What’s wrong?” She asked, touched my pale face
“I’m kind of nervous….”
“It’s ok;” She smiled reassuringly, “My brother is really nice, I’m sure he’ll like you.”
I gulped and nodded at _______, she then rang the door bell, and we were greeted by her grinning brother.
“So I see my dear little sister has brought someone back home…”
“This is Onew.” _______ introduced me to her brother
“Hello, I am Lee Jinki, please call me Onew, I really really like _______, and I hope that you will approve the two of us being together and-,” I said in one breath
“Hey, calm down there.” Jonghyun gave me a smile then narrowed his eyes, “What do you mean really really like…”
“…”
“Shouldn’t it be more like love?” He then laughed, “Aigo sis, your boyfriend here is so cute.”
I then laughed nervously and turned to ______ who was watching this whole situation.
“Onew-ah, don’t be so nervous.” She whispered in my ear
Jonghyun then signaled the both of us to come inside the living room, I looked round the unfamiliar room, Jonghyun then patted the seat on the sofa next to him, and ordered me to sit down. I did as I was told, _______ then sat next to me and held my shaking hand.
“So…” Jonghyun began.
This was then followed by a perplexing silence; during this silence my stomach gave a detonation of hunger.
“Maybe we should get something to eat…” _______ suggested standing up, placing my hand in my lap
“Onew-ah, what do you want?” Jonghyun turned to me
Well, there was only one thing on my mind that I wanted to eat now, well; I always wanted to eat this…
“CHICKEN CHICKEN!” I proponed jumping up from my seat.
________ and Jonghyun then cachinnated at my childishness; Jonghyun then got up from his seat too, and began to walk outside.
A look of confusion swept across my face, I was about to turn to ______ until she magically answered my question that I hadn’t even asked yet.
“He’s taking us to eat something.” She began to walk off
“Ooh, we’re telepathic!” I ran up to her, and slid her hand into mine.
After the delicious meal consisting of a large amount of chicken, Jonghyun decided to drive home alone, leaving me and _______ standing in front of the restaurant, not knowing where to go next.
“We haven’t had a proper date yet…” I then stated
“You want to go on one don’t you?”
“Aha! You did it again, you read my mind.” I grabbed ________s wrist, “Follow me!”
“Well, I have no choice!”
We finally arrived at a romantic location; a sea of shining stars could be seen in the dark sky above us.
“There are supposed to be a lot of shooting stars today,”
I said looking into _______s eyes, “I want to make a wish, and I want it to come true. You are the only person who can fulfill this dream.”
My eyes glowed and I smiled as I caught a glimpse of a shooting star, I quickly closed my eyes and cupped my hands together.
“I wish that I can always be with my adored _______.”
I saw _______ looking at me with affection, “Can you make my wish come true?” I looked into her eyes pleadingly
“You know wishes don’t come true if you say them out loud?”
“…” A look of discouragement developed on my face.
“But, this wish will be let off… and therefore fulfilled.”
“Ah! You wanted to trick me!” I lifted ______ up from the ground, and spun her around in joy. “_______, I love you.” I propped her on the ground
She leaned closer to me until her soft lift touched mine. It was now 11.59pm; my day was ended with a loving kiss from ______. This has surely been the best day ever.
