Chapter 3

Have an Affair, but just....don't leave me.

HanKyung sat down at the dining table with a cup of hot coffee in his hand. His eyes red and puffy from the tears that came last night and the thought of it not being a dream what so ever. He thought where SiWon went last night, but quickly erased it as the thought had him thinking of his husband at the other’s home. He sipped on the coffee when he heard the front door open and close. Had SiWon come back? He stood up and walked into the living room only to see HeeChul standing there letting Rong Rong out. “HeeNim?” His voice hoarse, but HeeChul heard him.

“Oh my….Han, what happened? Why are your eyes so red?” HeeChul ran and hugged his long time friend he suddenly released the other. “Where’s SiWon?” HeeChul immediately knew it had something to do with SiWon when HanKyung eyes began to form and he choked.

HanKyung turned and sat on the couch and placed his face in his and cried. “HeeChul….” He swallowed. “SiWon had an affair.”

HeeChul dropped in front of his friend and placed his hands over the other’s. “He what?” HanKyung couldn’t say it again so he only nods. “That fucking bastard…is he leaving you?”

HanKyung sighed. “He says it didn’t mean anything, He thought about me and that he still loves me.” HanKyung muffled the cry the climbed his throat.

“He is such a cliché.” HeeChul wrapped his arms around his best friend. “That bastard, if he thought about you he should’ve just got up and left. Do you know the person’s name?” HanKyung shook his head. “So what are you gonna do?” HanKyung shrugged as a tear ran down his cheek, which HeeChul quickly wiped away. “Listen, I’ll make you something to eat.” HeeChul stood and walked into the kitchen.

HanKyung knew he could always trust HeeChul and fifth grade prove it when the two stole answers to a test because they didn’t study. The teacher caught them and instead of blaming it on him he took the blame, which HanKyung later said was his fault. Though, they both got in trouble the two never separated. He also knew for the many years he known HeeChul, HanKyung knew he couldn’t cook, but he didn’t stop his friend. “Don’t burn the house down.”

“I won’t, my skills have gotten slightly better!” HeeChul shouted from the kitchen. “You just sit on that couch and relax, I got you.”

HanKyung obliged, so all he could do was turn on the television. He flipped through the stations that played the trailer of a new movie that was now in theaters. “HeeNim, let’s go watch this movie sometime.”

“Alright, anything to make you feel better.” HeeChul shouted, but HanKyung knew if they went HeeChul would talk him out of the movie if he didn’t want to see it. “Here you go, Honey.” HeeChul placed two plates on the dining table with fresh coffee. HanKyung walked over and took a look at the food, the eggs, toast and sausage were perfect there were no sign of burnt spots anywhere. “Told you I’ve gotten better.”

HanKyung chuckled at his friend’s silliness. “Thanks Chul.” He cut a piece of sausage and ate it. “It’s great.”

HeeChul smiled and took a bit of the toast. “So…How did you know he had an affair, did you see some evidence.”

“No, he told me.” HanKyung swallowed the egg that was placed in his mouth. “When I came home.”

“Do you know anything about the guy?”

“No, nothing. All said was he loved me and it didn’t mean anything.” HeeChul rolled his eyes and chuckled. “I don’t know what to do. I still love him, yet I hate him.” HanKyung let out a loud sigh.

HeeChul placed his hand over his friends that was about to pick up the coffee. “You’ll figure out your feelings, but now it’s too early. So for now how about we go shopping and I take you to a club.” HeeChul smirked and raised an eyebrow.

HanKyung chuckled, his friend always brightened his days. “Sure.”

“How about in two hours, call my cell if you need anything.” HeeChul picked up the plates on the table and placed them in the sink. “Because I have a date.”

“Really? With who?” HanKyung turned around to face his friend who now stood behind him.

“His name is Kim, KiBum I met him at the book store yesterday and we agreed to go out today.”

“I thought you and him broke up?” HanKyung cocked his head to the side.

“Not Kim Bum, KiBum.” HanKyung nodded. “Geez, you’ve been in Korea for fifteen years and you still don’t understand the language?” HanKyung stuck his tongue at his friend. “Call on my cell.” HeeChul headed for the door.

“Bye HeeNim.” HanKyung walked behind HeeChul who was now getting into his silver Porsche Boxster 987, with one final wave HeeChul left. HanKyung closed the door, the house was quiet except with the scratching of Rong Rong who wanted to come back in. HanKyung opened the door for his puppy that ran in and into the kitchen for food. He chuckled at his puppy’s cuteness.

“I see you’re feeling better.” The husky voice wiped the smile from HanKyung’s face. “How are you?”

“What are you doing here SiWon?” HanKyung didn’t really want to ask that, he actually wanted to run and hug his husband and say he was sorry, but the anger washed over him preventing that.

“I still live here, remember?” SiWon replied with a pained expression that really hurt HanKyung even more. “We need to talk.”

“About what?” HanKyung shouted. “Oh, I know, a divorce.” The word slipped out, HanKyung hoped it wasn’t about a divorce.

SiWon drew back in shock, did HanKyung want a divorce?. “No, not about a divorce. I would never divorce you.” SiWon sat on the arm rest of the couch.

HanKyung exhaled not realizing he held his breath in the first placed. “So what do you want to talk about.”

“The mistake.” SiWon looked down at the floor before looking at his wife. “Han I-.”

“What’s his name?” HanKyung blurted out without realizing.

“What?” SiWon eyes stretched as he stood.

“What’s his name?” HanKyung asked slowly.

SiWon sighed. “No good would come of this.” He opened his eyes. “Henry Lau.”

HanKyung thought on the name as it rang a bell, then it hit him slightly less than it did yesterday though none-the-less it hurt. “You’re co-worker?” SiWon nodded. HanKyung held back the tears that threatened to fall. “How long have you been seeing him?

“The day after you left.” SiWon replied honestly, his head dropped to the floor.

“Was I never good for you? I always wanted to please you, why didn’t you just tell me to stay home?” HanKyung wiped the tear that fell.

SiWon ran his hand through his hair. “Told you no good would come from this!” SiWon gave a heavy sigh. “HanKyung, it was a mistake! That I know I need to fix.” SiWon walked over and placed in hands on HanKyung shoulders. “I know you won’t forgive me, but I still love you and willing to work this out, that’s why…I’ve decided for you to have your own affair.”

HanKyung looked up at SiWon. “So you want another man to have sex with me!” HanKyung pulled out of SiWon’s grip. “You think I’m a slut?”

“No! I want to work this out and I want to even the score so we can't hang this over anyone’s head. It’s not fair to the other party.”

HanKyung sighed, but then again it was a great idea. He could finally give SiWon a piece of his own medicine. “I’m glad you suggested it. I’ve already in a relationship.” HanKyung noticed a flash of jealousy in SiWon’s eyes and he enjoyed it.

“Really now?” SiWon felt hurt, but part of him didn’t believe it.

“Yes, and as a matter-of-fact, he’s coming in two hours.” HanKyung felt bad lying to his husband, but he deserved it after all he hurt him first. “So I think you should leave.”

SiWon blinked back the tears that threaten to fall, he walked to HanKyung and hugs him. “I drive myself crazy think about how much I hurt you.” SiWon whispered in HanKyung’s ear as a tear fell. “I’m truly sorry and I deserve this so much.” SiWon tighten his hug. “Have an affair, but just don’t leave me…I can’t live without you. He released HanKyung kissing him before turning and leaving.

“Wonnie.” HanKyung spoke in barely a whisper, but it reached SiWon none-the-less. “Where are you staying?”

“I’m staying with LeeTeuk and his husband KangIn.” SiWon never turned around, but he knew after hearing his nickname they had a chance…still held the future together. “I’ll call you later Hannie. Hopefully we can forgive and forget.” He left glancing at HanKyung one more time before he closed the door and headed to his white Lexus IS, the twin of HanKyung’s red one.

HanKyung stood in the place he had been, stunned and numb. He thought about what just happened and when reality sunk in he cried. He wanted SiWon back, but the thought of his affair reminded him he was doing the right think….he hoped.
