Myolie looked at Raymond’s office door. It was closed. It had been closed for the past three days. He had locked himself up declaring not to be bothered until he had finished his piece.
It was late at night, and everyone one had gone home. The entire office was dark except for his. She could see through the blinds that he had fallen asleep. Myolie reached for the doorknob and opened the door. She wheeled herself over to his coat rack and grabbed his jacket before approaching Raymond.
His head was resting on his desk; she gently placed his jacket over him. Carefully slipping the sheet of music he was working one off of his desk. She flipped the lights off and quietly exited the room. She made a photocopy of it and slipped the original in her bag. Sitting outside of Raymond’s office she picked up a pencil and began filling in notes that matched the melody Raymond had already written.
She shook her head, “That doesn’t sound right.” She chewed on the pencil tip. Finally she erased the whole note and replaced it with a half note and two rests. She admired the piece with satisfaction. She had finished it. She made another photocopy of the completed piece.
Returning one to Raymond’s desk, she took the other down to her studio. She had to hear how it sounded. Raymond woke up the next morning and saw the finished piece. At first he was upset at whoever had completed his piece without his permission. However, after looking at the piece, the melody was playing in his mind, “This is brilliant.” He exclaimed.
He rushed out of his office to find the mastermind behind the great piece. He came across his two assistants who shrugged and indicated they had nothing to do with it. Finally, it occurred to Raymond he had forgotten an important person, Myolie.

He watched her play; it sounded better than he had expected. Maybe it was because it was being played by her. He entered the room when she had finished. Clearing his throat to make his presence be known, Myolie turned her head. He looked angry as he held up the music.
“I still have your original.” She quickly told him.
His lips curved into a smile, “That was amazing.” Myolie let out a sigh of relief that he was not mad at her for completing the piece. “I came to tell you thank you. I don’t think I could have done a better job finishing it.”
“I was only doing what I could to help.”
“You know what else you could do to? Agree to perform this piece when we go to Japan next month.”
“Oh no, I can’t.” Myolie objected.
“Of course you can. You wrote it.”
“I didn’t write it, you did. I only filled in the blanks.”
“Myolie, I just heard you play it to perfection.” Raymond tried to reason with her.
“I was only testing it out to make sure it flowed well. Plus, I’ve already found a perfect pianist for the concert. I’ve heard her play and she sounds wonderful. Her name is Niki Chow. She’s won several awards and I know she has experience with concert performance in Japan.” Myolie promoted.
“I want you to play.” Raymond insisted.
“Really, I can’t Raymond.” Myolie rejected again.
“Sure you can.” Raymond stood behind Myolie and held her hands.
Myolie took a deep breath as she once again felt that special connection; only this time it was stronger. Raymond guided her hand through the first few measures of the piece. Her fingers then took over as she continued to play the remaining bars of music.
“See, I don’t think I can find anyone else who could play it and express the message the way you did.”
“But…”
Raymond cut Myolie off, “No buts, you can do it. I’ll be there with you.”
Myolie looked at Raymond in the eye and nodded, “I’ll do it.”

Myolie and Raymond sat in her studio practicing the pieces that Myolie was going to perform. “You look tired,” Raymond noted, “We can cancel today’s practice. I know you’ve been working with Niki for the past few weeks on her pieces.”
Myolie shook her head, “No, I’m fine. I want to make sure I get these pieces down to perfection.” Myolie was very serious in her performance and when she finished she looked at Raymond, “How did I sound?” Raymond made some silly faces. “Myolie frowned, “What are you doing?” she questioned.
“You need to smile more when you’re playing.” Raymond suggested. “I was imitating you when you were playing.” He scrunched his eyebrows together, “You look too serious.” He laughed.
Myolie put her hands on her hip, “Are you making fun of me?” she playfully hit Raymond. The two had a lot of fun teasing each other and laughed loudly.

Nancy frowned, “I wish I could go with you guys.”
“It’s okay, if you want to go, then we can go again some other time when you feel better.” Raymond tucked Nancy into bed, “Get some rest.” Nancy nodded. Raymond kissed her on the forehead.
“You guys take care of yourself. Myolie help me take care of Raymond.” Nancy instructed.
“Don’t worry, I will.” Myolie promised.

Myolie sat on the stage, the auditorium was dark, and the spotlight was on her and the piano. She could feel her hands claming up. Myolie looked up and saw Raymond standing at the end of the stage, half hidden by the curtains. He gave her a wide grin and held his thumbs up. She smiled back and began her performance.

The entire production crew went to celebrate, “Cheers!” every yelled and raised their drink.
“Thank you for everyone’s help.” Raymond had a big smile on his face, “None of this could have happened without you guys.”
Everyone else continued to play and party all night long. “I’m going back up to the hotel to rest.” Myolie announce.
Raymond got up, “I’ll accompany you.” He offered. Myolie nodded and placed her hand in her lap. Raymond pushed Myolie’s wheelchair out of the restaurant, “The concert was absolutely successful. I want to especially thank, you, Myolie.”
Myolie blushed, “You put it all together.”
“But you deserve all the credit. You pieces were well received and your performance was unbelievable.”
Raymond stopped at a small park and they sat down to admire the night sky, “It’s so pretty tonight.” Myolie noted as she looked up into the clear sky which revealed infinite number of stars. She looked back down and her eyes met with Raymond.
He tilted his head and leaned over preparing to kiss her. Myolie leaned forward as well but jerked herself back.
“We can’t do this Raymond. You’re Nancy’s fiancé.” She reminded him and herself. “We would be betraying her.” Myolie scooted her wheelchair back and started to leave.
“Myolie, wait!” Raymond called after her. He ran in front of her stopping her. Getting at eye level he looked her in the eye once again. He reached out and held her hand. “Don’t leave; I have something to tell you.” Myolie looked away. “Myolie, after spending all this time with you, I realize you are the one I love.” Myolie shook her head as tears fell from her eyes, “I have feeling for you and I know you feel the same way.”
“No, I don’t.” Myolie cried. “Raymond, I don’t want to hurt Nancy again. She’s my sister and she loves you.” Myolie pushed Raymond’s hand off of hers and wheeled herself away.

A lot of ups and downs for Rayolie right? 2-3 more chapters left….haven’t decided yet.
Am I losing some readers? Lol….anyways, that’s for commenting everyone! It is a great motivation for me to continue writing….silent readers please comment and let me know what you think about my story!

Michelle: It was all Rayolie! Well, except for a small part with Nancy, but still…mainly Rayolie. Glad the length was good for you. I’ll try to keep that in mind in the future!
mystery: Hope this chapter was filled with enough Rayolie! No prob about the re-post….I probably should have done it sooner so I wouldn’t have to direct people to go to like 5 million sites just to read the chapters. LOL…so you have a different username at tvbsquare….will have to try to figure out which one is you…haha!
haha08: other characters??? Hmmmm….not that I know of….Kevin will appear in the next chapter again. I updated “ABYS” and I saw your comment at M-W forum.
StrawB3rryz: Sorry to disappoint you….I realize that there are many Boscolie and Rayolie stories out there….maybe sometime in the near future I will write another story with Nancy and Raymond or some other male lead. Thanks for the support nevertheless.
toby: Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Hope you liked this one just as much! I updated “ABYS”…I think you saw already….I’ll try to get another chapter up soon….kinda lost for ideas where I want to take it….
melted: Myolie is, or rather was, getting close to Raymond…but what will happen now??? Will there be a major fight between the two sisters when Nancy finds out….stay tuned to find out!
PinkAngel: Hope that this chapter was filled with enough Rayolie parts! Rayolie almost kissed….but in the end it didn’t happen…..maybe I should reconsider and made them kiss before Myolie realized what she was doing…lol…
