“You should probably go back to your home first. I’m sure Nancy is waiting for you.” Myolie noted.
At that time they heard a familiar voice, “Raymond! Myolie!” Nancy called out. She ran over to the two. “Mom and dad want to go try out this new restaurant so I came to pick you guys up. They are waiting for us already.”
“I’m feeling really tired Nancy; you and Raymond should go. I’ll just catch a taxi home.”
“Come on Myolie, I want to hear about your show in Japan.” Nancy begged. Raymond was standing behind Nancy and nodded pleadingly.
Myolie looked down, “Okay, I’ll go” she agreed to Nancy’s request. Raymond smiled.

The following morning, Kevin went into his studio, “Myolie,” Kevin paused, “What are you doing here?”
Myolie gave Kevin a small smile, “Am I not welcomed here?”
“No, it’s just,” he paused, “shouldn’t you be at Raymond’s?”
“I felt that the job wasn’t right for me. I was wondering if you would be willing to take me back.”
“Of course, you are welcome to come back anytime you want.” Kevin answered. “Does Raymond know that you’re coming back here to work?”
“He’ll know soon enough. I left my letter of resignation on his desk already.” Myolie looked at Kevin who seemed to have several questions, “Is there something wrong?”
“I thought you would enjoy that job, I didn’t expect you to be back.” Kevin admitted.
“I didn’t belong there.” Myolie replied bluntly.

Raymond had called Kevin to tell him that Myolie had quit. At that time, Kevin informed Raymond that Myolie had returned.
Raymond arrived to see Kevin pushing Myolie out of his store. He walked forward, “Myolie, we need to talk. Can we have dinner together?”
“Kevin and I were just about to go out for dinner, right Kevin?”
“Uh, yeah, do you want to join us Raymond?” Kevin offered.
“No, you guys enjoy your dinner.” Raymond said and left sadly.

“Sorry to use you like that.” Myolie apologized to Kevin over dinner.
“I’ll forgive you if you tell me what’s wrong. Why are you avoiding Raymond? Did something happen between the two of you?”
“Nothing happened and I am not avoiding him.” Myolie lied.
“Myolie, I’ve known you for years, I think I can tell when something is bothering you.” Myolie remained quiet. “You like Raymond, but you don’t know how to face Nancy, am I correct?” Kevin guessed.
Myolie avoid Kevin’s gaze, “I…I don’t know what you are talking about.” Myolie stuttered. “Raymond will be my brother-in-law very soon. He and Nancy will happily get married.”
“Myolie, love cannot be forced or given away.”
“Kevin, do you know how it feels to be hated by someone all your life?” Myolie asked as tears welled in her eyes. “Nancy has hated me my entire life, but finally, after twenty-five years, she has forgiven me. She has finally accepted me as her sister. I don’t want to ruin the relationship we have now.”
“But Myolie…”
“Will you help me Kevin?”

“Myolie invited us to dinner with her and Kevin on Friday.” Nancy told Raymond over their dinner.
“Dinner with her and Kevin?” Raymond asked.
“I think the two of them are going out.” Nancy said excitedly, “Did Kevin tell you anything?” Nancy asked. “Kevin is such a great guy, I’m so happy for Myolie to find someone like him. I’m just so excited for the two of them.” Nancy gushed. “I bet that is why she was so reluctant in changing jobs. She didn’t want to be separated from Kevin.”
“She and Kevin…” Raymond continued to repeat.
“Raymond, are you okay?” Nancy asked concernedly.
He snapped out of his thoughts, “Yeah, let her know we’ll be there.” He answered and got up from his seat. “Nancy, I’m just really tired, so I don’t think I can take you home.”
“That’s okay, I’ll clean up and take a taxi home.” Raymond nodded and left to his room leaving Nancy feeling puzzled by his behavior. He suddenly seemed so distant from her since his trip back from Japan.

Nancy arrived home and went to talk to Myolie. She was sitting in her room staring at the original copy of Raymond’s piece. Nancy’s voice startled her, “Are you asleep yet Myolie?” she asked.
She quickly hid the paper, “No, come on in.” Nancy entered Myolie’s room and sat at the edge of the bed across from Myolie.
“Do you know what is wrong with Raymond?” Nancy asked concernedly, “He’s been acting strangely since you guys got back from Japan.”
“I don’t know, but I’m sure it’s nothing. Maybe he’s just tired.”
“You think so? I feel like he is being so cold to me.”
“I’m almost positive he is tired; I mean, he spent a lot of time and effort getting ready for the concert. I bet he just needs rest and relaxation. You guys should go on vacation together.” Myolie suggested.
“That’s not a bad idea. I’ll talk to Raymond about it. Thanks Myolie.” Nancy gave her a big smile.

“Sorry, we’re late.” Myolie apologized as Kevin pushed her into the room, “Kevin and I went shopping and forgot the time.”
“You guys aren’t late at all; Raymond and I just got her early. So what all did you guys buy?”
Kevin chuckled, “We bough a couple of karaoke disk. Myolie keeps telling me how much she likes my singing.”
“Is that so?” Raymond asked in a hostile tone, “I never knew you to be such an excellent singer.”
Nancy nudged Raymond, “What wrong with you? Kevin is your friend.”
“Yeah, Kevin is really talented in many areas.” Myolie complemented and she continued as the night passed.
And whenever she did Raymond would show his jealousy in his replies, “Seems like there’s a lot about you that I don’t know Kevin.” His tone was mighty unfriendly.
“I’m not feeling to well, I think I want to go home.” Myolie said.
Raymond wanted to offer to give her a ride, but Kevin already got up, “I’ll take you.” Myolie nodded and they left.
“Don’t they make such a great couple? Kevin is so caring towards Myolie.”
“Nancy, there’s something I want to tell you.” Raymond said very seriously.
“I want to discuss something with you too. I’ve noticed that you must be really tired. Myolie suggested that we go on vacation together. Where do you want to go?”
“Nancy, I don’t think I’ll be able to go with you.”
“Are you really busy? We can go later.”
Raymond shook his head, “It’s not that Nancy; I don’t think we can be together anymore.”
“What are you trying to say?”
“We can’t get married Nancy.”

Raymond told Nancy….how will she react!
I’ve noticed that Myolie and Kevin have been working a lot lately….I think it is a hint from TVB that they’ll be co-staring together sometime in the near future…

mystery: Haha! I know, they didn’t kiss….so sad, but I’ll promise to give them a kiss before I finish the story! Nancy will be heartbroken….you’ll see in the next chapter how their relationship will turn out…Still haven’t figured out who you are, but I’ll keep working on it! ;D
