“Nothing is wrong Nancy,” he paused and looked at Nancy in the eye, “I just realized that I love someone else.” He admitted truthfully.
“What are you talking about?”
“I’m sorry Nancy.” Raymond apologized. “I should have told you earlier.”
“Who is it?” Nancy questioned.
“Is it necessary to know? I don’t think it’ll do any good.”
“It’s Myolie, isn’t it? Raymond remained silent. Nancy raised her tone, “I asked you if it was Myolie.” Tears fell from her eyes. Raymond’s head fell forward. Nancy was in disbelief, “You like Myolie! She’s my sister! I trusted the two of you!” she screamed. “How could you guys? I can’t believe she did it again.”
“Nancy, listen to me, it’s not Myolie’s fault.”
In the midst of Raymond’s explanation, Nancy angrily slapped him, “Of course it’s not her fault; it’s my fault. It’s always been my fault and it always will be. It was my fault for wanting to return.” She turned and left immediately.

When Myolie returned home she saw Nancy packing her belongings, “Nancy, where are you going?”
“I have nothing to say to you.” Nancy replied.
”What’s wrong Nancy, tell me….” Myolie pleaded.
”You’re what’s wrong,” Nancy screamed. She looked at Myolie with hurt in her eyes. “Why must you do this to me over and over again?” Myolie knitted her brow, “First, it was Mom and Dad. Now you’re going to steal my fiancé!”
“Nancy, I didn’t. Nothing happened between us and I’ve already told Raymond that I don’t love him and we can’t be together.” Myolie explained.
“Why must you wreck my life?” Nancy accused. “I wish you never existed! Why couldn’t you have died that day you were hit by the truck?”
“I’m so sorry; all I ever wanted was for you to be happy. If I had known that my existence would cause such discontent to you, then I too wish I would have disappeared.” Nancy finished packing her bag and started to leave; Myolie grab hold of her arm, “Don’t go Nancy. You shouldn’t be the one to leave. I will.” Myolie wheeled pass Nancy, and looked back, “Will we still be sisters?” Myolie asked hopefully. Nancy did not answer her and a single tear drop fell from Myolie’s eye, “I’m sorry.” She apologized again.

Kevin saw Myolie wheeling herself out from her apartment complex; she was crying, “Myolie! Are you okay?” Kevin asked.
Myolie shook her head, “No….” she bit her lower lip, “I just ruined everything.”
Kevin comforted Myolie, “It’s not your fault Myolie….” He suddenly stopped speaking and took several deep breaths and started wheezing.
“Kevin, are you okay? Kevin, don’t scare me!” He had collapsed to the ground and was dead. “Kevin!” Myolie looked up at the sky, “Why must you keep doing this to me? I don’t want to see the people I care about die one by one.” She cried, “Why must things be this cruel?”
Myolie understood what was happening to Kevin was only another reminder to herself. It was a reminder of her mission. “I can’t do it, and I won’t do it.” She took another look at Kevin, “I won’t do it!” She repeated firmly.
Myolie placed her hand over Kevin’s chest. She closed her eyes and concentrated until she finally felt his hear beating again beneath her hand. She let out a sigh of relief before leaving.

Myolie unlocked the door to her studio. She looked around and ran her hand on every piece of furniture. Her hand finally stopped on the piano. This is where they had spent their happiest time together. This is where she felt the special connection with him.
Myolie was about to leave and she met Raymond at the door. He stopped her from leaving, “Myolie, I’ve already told Nancy about us.”
“Raymond, it’s no use. I can’t stay here….”
“Then we’ll leave together.” He suggested.
“No, that’s not possible.” Myolie did not know how to explain to Raymond, “I have to leave. It’s the only way to save Nancy.”
“What are you talking about? What must you leave to save Nancy?”
“Raymond, I don’t belong her, nor can I stay.”
“I don’t understand what you mean.”
“I’m…I’m an angel of death.” Myolie told Raymond honestly.
“Angel of death?” he repeated, “What’s that?” Raymond asked with confusion.
“I was sent down to Earth with a mission.” She began to explain.
“I don’t get it, you’re not making any sense Myolie….”
“I was supposed to take Nancy’s life away when she was 16, but I could not bring myself to complete my task”
“But, I always thought that angels brought life to the world, not take them away.”
“There are those who do bring life, unfortunately, I am not one of them.”
“Myolie, it’s not use coming up with silly excuses so that we can’t be together. I love you!” We’ll go talk to Nancy again, I’m sure she’ll wish us happiness once we explain to her that we love each other.”
Myolie shook her head “Don’t do that please,” she pleaded, “It’s true Raymond, I have to go.”
.“I don’t believe you! You’re making all this up!” Raymond screamed in frustration why Myolie refused to be with him.
Myolie stood up from her wheelchair and floated about the ground to show Raymond. Seeing the shocked expression on his face she landed back on the ground and walked over to Raymond. “I’m sorry.”
“How…why….” He couldn’t form a complete sentence to ask all the questions running in him mind.
“I was constantly reminded of my task, that’s why a few years ago, I was involved in a car accident. I watched as everyone died and I survived. I’m in a wheelchair now as a reminder.” Myolie explained.
“But since Nancy is still alive, does that mean that her time to die has passed so she can stay and you can to?” Raymond asked with hope. Myolie shook her head. “Then can you take Nancy’s life now and still stay.” He asked selfishly.
“I won’t do it. Even if I did, I wouldn’t be able to stay. I gave Kevin my human heart. I’ll die in less that an hour.”
“So that’s the only time we only have left together?” Raymond asked. Myolie nodded sadly. Raymond grabbed Myolie’s hand and pulled her out of the room.
“Where are we going?” She questioned as she continued to run with him. He pushed the door of his studio opened and led Myolie in front of the piano. Her eyes fell upon the sheet of music, “This piece….”
“You had finished it for me and later I changed it from a solo to a duet for us.” Raymond explained.
They sat on the bench together. Raymond held Myolie’s hand as he placed it over the keys. They played the music harmoniously; it was absolutely beautiful. Tears continued to fall from Myolie’s eyes as they continued to play.
They hit the last note; Myolie turned to look at Raymond. She threw her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.
“Don’t go.” He pleaded.
“I have to, I’m sorry Raymond.” She let go, got up, and was ready to leave. Raymond pulled her back, spun her around and kissed her. Their kiss was broken as Myolie began to disappear like fairy dust.
“Myolie!” he called after her.
He heard her voice, “Don’t worry about me, I’ll be alright, I’m an angel. Help me take care of my parents and Nancy okay. I’ll be wishing you and Nancy happiness.”
Raymond buried his face in his hands and cried, “I love you…..” he whispered.

I think almost everyone guess that the angel of death was going to be Myolie and you guys are right. Hope this chapter cleared up a few things, namely the wheelchair situation… Seems like everyone is feeling bad for both Myolie and Nancy….I think I’ve depressed everyone including myself. I used to write happy stories and lately everything I write seems so sad. Sigh….well this is almost it….one more chapter and it’s going to be short….just a tad more before wrapping things up. Thanks for commenting!
On a happier note, there has been a bit of Rayolie in the news the past 2 or 3 days because of promotion for TDOL! Check out the Rayolie hidout at tvbsquare if you haven’t already! The clips and pics have brightened my week!
mystery: Don’t worry, Nancy won’t kill herself or anything like that. But it is sad for both Myo and Nancy….
my0t1: oh, you’re so lucky, Europe…wow…I wish I could go….but I’m stuck with classes all summer long….sigh, it’s my choice though, so I guess I shouldn’t complain. I did watch Kevin’s MV, I really like Myolie’s look in there and they make quite a good couple. Maybe they will collaborate soon.
haha08: Had to have something slightly light hearted and cutesy before all the drama. I think Ray would be such a cute jealous boyfriend.
xY: Thanks for your comment! Hope you enjoy this chapter!
melted: I’ll be sure to relay your message to my poster maker! I like it a lot too! Myolie continued to avoid Raymond…and it does seem like they have all gotten hurt…sigh…I’m getting depressed by my own story.
StrawB3rryz: Lol, no problem, pop in as much as you want! I was surprised to see you comment again. Will Myolie be with Ray??? She’s left…but it is really bad of Myolie and Raymond to do such a thing, huh? I feel bad for Nancy in my story too. I’ve been watching TVB for too many years so I have the typical TVB storyline of two siblings falling for the same person.
Incognito: Nancy definitely wasn’t too happy about the news. Haha, you can’t decide who you want to end up together….lol…
Fiona: Hey! You’re raylluvec sis from the honeypot, right? Great that you found the story here too. Well, seems like everyone got hurt in this triangle…thanks for your comment!
becky: Thanks for your compliment. Hope this chapter cleared up some things for you.
PinkAngel: Yup, Raymond told Nancy….I guess Nancy didn’t do anything too bad….only slapped Raymond….and as promised, Rayolie shared a kiss! Kinda sad one though….
lum: You’re not late at all…. Myolie is the angel of death, but no your answer was not dumb at all, that’s a really interesting guess.
