Justin tried to stop them but there were too many people. They were all pushing and shoving; Justin had no chance to get over to Jenny’s side.
“Oh come on,” Bosco insisted. “It’ll be fun.” He gave his girlfriend, Fala, a wink. She pretended to stretch her arms, but really she pushed Jenny into the ocean.
Jenny’s head began to bob up and down in the water. The crowd were pointing, some were laughing. “Help me!” she started to scream.
Justin finally saw what had happen, “Jenny!” He immediately jumped overboard to save her. He placed one hand under her chin to keep her head elevated above the water and began to swim back towards the boat.
“Jenny, are you okay?” he asked as he wrapped a towel around her.
“I thought you said you represented your school’s swim team.” Bosco laughed.
Justin looked over at Jenny because he knew that she could swim very well as they used to go to the beach all the time. He was quite puzzled over the fact that she had almost drowned.
“I….my leg started to cramp” she explained.

“Auntie Amanda!” Tong Tong screamed when she arrived at the park and saw Justin and Jenny. She excitedly ran over to Jenny, “Auntie Amanda, why haven’t you come to play with me in such a long time.”
Justin looked at Vivian, “Didn’t you tell her?”
“I forgot.” Vivian replied with a guilty look on her face.
“Hey pumpkin, she’s not Auntie Amanda. I know she looks just like Auntie Amanda, but this is Auntie Jenny.”
“So she’s not Auntie Amanda?” Tong Tong asked sadly. “Where has Auntie Amanda gone to? I miss her. Will you call her for me Uncle Justin?”
“Tong Tong, come over to Mommy now and stop bothering Uncle Justin.”
“But I want to see Auntie Amanda.” Tong Tong whined.
Justin shook his head, “Pumpkin, Auntie Amanda has moved really far away.” Justin explained. Tong Tong pouted. “Don’t be sad, you know that it makes me sad to see you sad. Hey, look what I got you.” He pointed to the bicycle with a large pink bow around it.
Tong Tong’s eyes lit up, “Thank you Uncle Justin.” She gave him a hug and kiss.
“Auntie Jenny helped me pick it out, do you like it?”
Tong Tong nodded eagerly, “I love it!”
“What do you say?” Vivian reminded her.
“Thank you Auntie Jenny.” Tong Tong said. She pulled Justin’s hand and they walked over to the bicycle.
Jenny and Vivian sat on the bench while Justin played with Tong Tong.
“So, you’re Jenny. I can’t believe that two people can look just alike. If Justin hadn’t told me earlier, I don’t think I would have believed him.” Jenny smiled at Vivian. “I still remember back when I was in high school and he started dating you. He was always so happy. My brother really loves you.”
“I know.” Jenny simply answered. “He cares a lot about you and Tong Tong too. I remember when he used to tell me about you.”
Vivian felt very comfortable talking with Jenny, just as she had with Amanda. Soon Jenny and Vivian had become good friends.

“I’m home Grandma!” Amanda announced as she entered the house. “The cucumbers and tomatoes look wonderful this year.” She said as she placed the basket filled with vegetables on the table and sat down.
Amanda’s grandmother took a seat at the table next to Amanda. “Ah Man, is there something wrong?” she asked placing a hand over Amanda’s hand.
“Nothings wrong, why would you think something is wrong?”
“Last time you came to visit me you seemed so happy and you said that you were going to introduce your boyfriend to me. And this time that you’ve come, you’ve gotten skinner and you look so sad.”
“I haven’t gotten skinner Grandma, it’s the haircut,” she began to explain, ”it makes my face look skinner.” Her grandmother frowned as she was not satisfied with her answer. “Do you not like my haircut?” Amanda asked.
Her grandmother shook her head, “As long as you like it that’s all that matters. So when are you bringing your boyfriend to meet me.”
“I…we broke up.”
“Oh, how come?”
Amanda gave her grandmother a weak smile, “Don’t worry Grandma, your granddaughter is good stuff, I have plenty of other guys waiting to date me.”
Amanda’s grandmother chuckled, “Of course you are.”

“Do you want a pork bun?” Jenny asked. Tong Tong shook her head. “How about an egg roll?” Again she rejected the offer. “Aren’t you hungry sweetie?” Tong Tong nodded, “Then why won’t you eat anything?”
“She has a toothache but she doesn’t want to go see the dentist.” Justin answered.
Tong Tong placed both hands over her mouth and shook her head. She mumbled something, but it was muffled by her hands.
“What are you trying to say pumpkin?” Jenny asked.
Tong Tong removed both hands and said, “He’s scary….he has a big drill.” She quickly finished and placed her hand over her mouth again.”
“Don’t be silly. Auntie Jenny promise it won’t hurt and after you go to the dentist I’ll take you to the amusement park. How does that sound?” Tong Tong shook her head.
“Jenny, it’s no use, I’ve tried everything. I’ve begged and bribed, but she just won’t agree.”
They continued to persuade Tong Tong when suddenly Jenny felt her phone vibrate. She quickly excused herself, “I’m going to the washroom. I’ll be right back.”
Seconds later after she had got up and left, Tong Tong followed after her to the washroom. Jenny came out from the cubicle and saw Tong Tong standing there. “Tong Tong? How long have you been in here? Did you hear me speaking on the phone?” Tong Tong nodded. Jenny panicked. “Tong Tong can you keep this a secret between the two of us?” Tong Tong nodded again. “Promise me you won’t tell anyone including your Uncle Justin.”
“But why?” Tong Tong asked.
“Because if he finds out then he’ll leave me and not love me anymore.” Jenny explained.
“Then I won’t tell him!” Tong Tong promised.

Hey everyone! I have pretty much gotten myself settled in…and while I had no internet connections for the first few days I wrote up this new chapter! Will continue to write if I have time today and tomorrow! Not too sure yet, but I think there will be maybe 3 to 5 more chapter????
Seems like most everyone likes Amanda a tad more….lol….and is Jenny really up to no good? What is this secret of hers that Tong Tong has found out?

melted – Haha…yes, Bosco’s friendly competition wasn’t so friendly as it almost killed Jenny….Amanda sounds kinda like Myolie’s character in TDOL….leaving when she realized that the man she loves doesn’t love her back….

I read your other comment and it sounds like work has taken over your life….ekkk… I was getting worried when I hadn’t seen you stop by in such a long time…..….no worries about commenting though. Where has Amanda gone to….not out of the country like her secretary told Justin (Since she went to see her grandmother)….or maybe she did….and now she’s back….lol…. !
lum – lol….no, Bosco’s girl wasn’t Amanda…..it was Fala….Amanda is one interesting character….you never know what she’ll do….
triumph sis – Haha….I think from this chapter everyone will for sure think Jenny is up to no good…..she has some sort of secret….haha….or could it be the other way around like you said sis….lol…oh, you will be in your second year sis….what’s your major if you don’t mind me asking? Depending on time I will try to stop by when I can to do translations….I’m hoping that I will have time to do the blog translations for TDOL still….they usually don’t take me too long so I should be able to do that still….it will be sad when school starts I guess….we’ll all be too busy to be around. Amanda will appear in the next chapter….bloodshed, mmm, no, but….haha….not going to say…..lol…
