“Uncle Justin!” the little girl shouted.
He looked up and gave her a smile, “Hey pumpkin, come give your Uncle Justin a big hug.” He got up from his seat as she ran towards him. He lifted her off the ground. She gave him a ‘wet kiss’ on the cheek. “Why, thank you.” He chuckled. Setting her on his lap, he asked, “What are you doing here today? Where’s your mommy?”
“Mommy said that she had to go meet a client.” Justin nodded. “Uncle Justin, Mommy promised to take me to the amusement park today, but since she is busy, will you take me instead?” she asked hopefully.
“Of course I can pumpkin, but Uncle Justin has some work to finish first, so why don’t you go have a seat on the sofa and when I’m done, we’ll go.” She nodded and jumped off his lap. Justin handed her some computer paper and a few colored pens.
Justin read through his files and there was another knock at the door, “Come in” he called.
Natalie opened the door, “Mr. Cheung, Ms. Lok is here to see you.”
“Have her come in.” Justin instructed.
“Hi Justin, I wanted to talk with you….” She noticed Tong Tong sitting on the couch. “Oh, are you busy? Am I intruding?” Amanda asked.
Justin smiled, “No, this is my niece, Tong Tong. Her mother was busy today so I am babysitting.”
Tong Tong hopped off the couch and walked over to Amanda’s side, “Uncle Justin, who is she?” she asked.
Amanda squatted to Tong Tong’s level, “Hi, I’m Amanda,” she introduced herself with a handshake. “It’s nice to meet you Tong Tong. I bet you are as sweet as sugar.”
“Uncle Justin, she’s really pretty.” Tong Tong’s comment made Justin blush.
“Indeed she is.” He added.
“Is she your girlfriend?” Tong Tong asked.
Justin blushed even more, “Now who taught you those words?” he chuckled nervously at Amanda. “No, pumpkin, Auntie Amanda is someone who does business with me.”
Tong Tong looked at Amanda, “My Uncle Justin is a good catch.” Her last comment made the color in Justin’s face changed from a light pink to a dark crimson.
Amanda chuckled when Tong Tong winked at her, “I’m sure he is.”
Justin ushered her back to the sofa, “You sit here and continue with your drawing while Auntie Amanda and I discuss some matters. I’ll come get you when I am done.” Tong Tong nodded and obediently retuned to her seat.
After an hour, Justin and Amanda both closed their files, “Ready to go Tong Tong?”
She excitedly jumped off the couch and ran over to him, “Yes sir! I’m all ready to go!”
“Do you need a ride Amanda? I’ll drop you off first.” Justin offered.
“Auntie Amanda won’t be going with us to the amusement park?” Tong Tong pouted.
“Sweetie, I’m sure Auntie Amanda is very busy and doesn’t have time.”
“Actually, I don’t have any plans for the rest of today and would love to go.”
Tong Tong cheered in joy, “Alright, let’s go!” she pulled Amanda and Justin’s hands along.
“A little closer” Amanda used her free hand and waved, indicating to Justin to move to the right. “Alright, 1, 2, 3.” She snapped the picture.
“My turn!” Tong Tong shouted as she took the camera from Amanda. She held the camera up in a very professional manner. Tong Tong looked out from behind the camera, “You guys have to sit closer!” she instructed. They looked at each other and laughed, two grown adults had to take orders from a four year old. They followed her directions and scooted closer to each other. “1, 2, 3” Tong Tong grinned mischievously as she admired the picture.
“Group picture.” Justin announced. Tong Tong sat in both, Amanda and Justin’s, lap. Amanda hugged her tightly. Justin wrapped one arm around Amanda’s shoulder and with his other hand he held out the camera, “Say cheese.”
They went around and rode all the kiddy rides, ate cotton candy, and watched the shows until they were tired and the sky fell dark.

“She’s asleep” Amanda whispered as she gently stroked Tong Tong’s hair out of her face.
Justin looked into the rear view mirror, and saw Tong Tong’s head in Amanda’s lap, “She must be exhausted.”
Justin got out of his car when he saw Vivian coming out and opening the gate. She walked over to Justin, “Where’s my daughter?”
“She’s asleep in the car.” He answered.
Vivian looked over and saw Amanda sitting in the backseat. She smiled and inclined her head forward politely at Amanda. Amanda returned the gesture. Vivian leaned into Justin, “Who’s she?”
“A friend.” Justin simply answered.
“Only a friend?” Vivian teased.
Justin walked over to his car and opened the backseat door. He carefully picked Tong Tong up in his arms. “We’re home pumpkin.” Amanda followed out of the car.
Tong Tong rubbed her eyes, and mumbled some incoherent words. Vivian took Tong Tong from Justin into her arms, “I’ll take her from here.”
“Uncle Justin, you should be a gentleman and take Auntie Amanda home.” Tong Tong noted.
Vivian smiled, “My daughter sure knows her manners. Come on Tong Tong, Mommy’s going to take you upstairs. Say good night.”
“Bye Auntie Amanda.” Tong Tong waved.
Amanda waved back, “Sweet dreams.”
“Sorry for keeping you all day.”
“No, I had fun.”
“Why don’t I take you home.” Justin offered.
“It’s okay, I live really close by, I’ll just take a taxi.”
“Are you not going to let me be a gentleman? Tong Tong might get upset if she finds out.”
“I’ll take a rain check for your ride. I’m actually meeting some friends. I’ll see you soon.”
“Okay, I won’t force you, maybe next time.”
Amanda placed her hands on both of Justin’s arms, stepped up a bit and kissed Justin on the lips. She smiled at him, “Thanks for a wonderful day.” She got into a taxi.” Justin watched as it drove off.
Vivian slapped her hand on Justin’s shoulder, “She’s gone already.”
He turned around, “What are you doing down here? Shouldn’t you be tucking Tong Tong into bed?”
“The silly girl saw that you didn’t take her Auntie Amanda home, so she wants you to go upstairs to read her a bed time story.” They headed towards Vivian’s apartment, “So, how did you guys meet?”
Justin rolled his eyes as he knew there would be so many more questions, “We’re business partners.”
“Is your girlfriend?” Vivian questioned, but Justin quickly denied. “Come on Justin, you really need to start dating again. Look, I’m your younger sister and I already have a daughter. Tong Tong is already four this year.”
“Exactly, you should remember that you are a mother now. You have a responsibility of taking care of Tong Tong.” Justin lectured.
“I understand, you are implying that Tong Tong and I are in the way of your dating time.” Vivian teased.
Justin shook his head at his sister. “I’m going to go tuck Tong Tong into bed.” He walked into Tong Tong’s bed room, “Hey pumpkin, why aren’t you asleep yet?”
“How come you didn’t take Auntie Amanda home?” Tong Tong asked.
“Auntie Amanda is a big girl, she can get home by herself.” Justin explained.
“Uncle Justin, will you see Auntie Amanda again?”
“Why do you ask?” Justin questioned curiously.
“I have a present for her. Can you give it to her for me?”
“What is it?” Tong Tong reached under her pillow and pulled out a folded piece of paper and handed it to Justin. “Can I take a look at it?” Tong Tong nodded. It was a picture she had drawn earlier in his office. “Do you want to give it to Auntie Amanda yourself?” Tong Tong nodded excitedly. “How about I invite Auntie Amanda out for lunch and let you give it to her.” She began to jump up and down in her bed. Justin chuckled as he took another look at the drawing.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Aren’t you guys proud of me, I updated twice in the same week….lol, that’s good for me, right? Only a small kiss in this chapter, but more will be coming! Thanks to everyone who caught my mistakes in last chapter. If you guys see any do let me know. I make lots of grammar and spelling errors all the time.
Michelle – Glad you liked the notes. I was starting to worry if I had scared you away after telling you to write a fic since I didn’t see you comment after I posted the first chapter. LOL….
haha08 – I guess it’s because I don’t see too many girls as the one to pursue guys so that’s why I wrote Myolie’s character as being so forward. She’s very brave in expressing her feelings.
my0t1 – yup sis, I updated one chapter last week, but I thought it was odd that I didn’t see your comment. I guess you can say that one of the Myolie will be an antagonist….
honeybee – glad you like the concept of Myolie going after Ray. Hope you liked this chapter as well!
triumph sis – okay, I added the notes just for you. Amanda gave Ray a kiss, more kisses to come. Thanks for all the corrections sis! Hope I didn’t make anymore in this chapter. That’s exactly the image I imagined for Amanda! That very mature, elegant, sophisticated look that she has now…..with the long curly hair….
joyce sis – thank sis for catching my mistakes. Do let me know if you spot anymore! It’s cute that Myo is the one pursuing Ray in my opinion.
Tracy sis – Thanks for the comment. Jenny won’t be returning too soon. I have to let Amanda and Justin develop some more before having Jenny come back out.
MistyK - Glad you enjoyed the chapter. Hope you liked the Rayolie moments in this chapter!
