Each day as Justin returned home, he was always greeted by Amanda and a kiss from her. He opened the door and she threw herself on to him, arms tightly around his neck, she presented him with a surprise kiss. “Wow” was the only word that came out of Justin’s mouth.
“I’m making dinner.” Amanda told him sweetly. He retuned her smile.
Day in and day out this had become a routine for the two. Justin would return home and receive a welcome kiss from Amanda. However, whether she cooked dinner that night was another story.
Like this particular evening, they decided to go out for dinner. After Amanda finished looking over the menu, “Let’s play a little game.” she suggested.
“A game? Like what?” Justin asked curiously.
Amanda reached into her purse and pulled out two small pieces of paper and two pens. She handed Justin a sheet, “Write down what you think I will order and I will write down what I think you will order. We will see how well we know each other.” She explained the rules of her game. Justin nodded and followed.
The waiter came and they ordered their food. After the waiter walked away, they exchanged their pieces of paper. “How did you know what I would order?” Justin asked, amazed at how accurate Amanda was.
“Shows how much more I like you.” Amanda noted.

Amanda was cleaning Justin’s room when she found a ring in his desk drawer. She picked up the ring and found the initials J.C. craved inside. Justin walked in just as Amanda was trying on the ring. “It’s really pretty.” She noted. Justin nodded nervously. “And you put your initials on it.” She chuckled. “Are you afraid that I would forget that I’m your woman?” Amanda joked. She leaned over to give him a kiss.

Amanda heard Justin mumbling something in his sleep. It was barely audible but she finally made it out. He had said, “Jenny, don’t leave me.”
She got out of bed, picked up the white terry cloth robe, and put it on. Pulling the knot tightly, she walked over to Justin’s computer.
After she turned on the computer, she was prompted to the password login. She thought for a second, taking a glance over her shoulder at Justin who was still lying in bed asleep, her fingers began to move. She typed ‘Jenny Ching’ and she had gotten through. Under the ‘My Document’ tab, she found a folder labeled ‘Justin.’ Opening it, she found six subfolders, one for each of the past six years. She opened the most recent document entry which was written only a few nights ago.
‘I thought I was happy with Amanda, but I’m constantly thinking of Jenny. I don’t know what I should do. I feel as though I am being unfair to Amanda. Perhaps I should break up with her, but I am afraid of hurting her.’ Amanda shut her eyes after reading the passage.
Amanda looked at the ring on her finger. Now that she thought back, she realized that the initials J.C. were not for Justin Cheung, but rather for Jenny Ching. “This was her ring, not mine….” She bit her lower lip and continued to read the rest of Justin’s journal entries.
‘A couple of my friends insisted we go to the bar tonight for my birthday. At first I didn’t want to go, but I’m glad they made me go. I met the girl of my dreams tonight. She was the bartender there. She had the sweetest smile. While my buddies we off meeting girls, I sat there and we talked. They convinced her to give me, the birthday boy, a kiss. It was just a small peck on the cheek, but it has been the best birthday present for me.’
‘I haven’t been able to sleep, thing, or do anything for he past few days as my mind continues to wonder and think about her consistently. Her dark brown eyes, he shiny pink lips, her soft voice has all been embedded into my mind. Perhaps I shall test me luck tomorrow and see if I can see her again.’
‘It must have been my lucky day. I saw her again unexpectedly this morning! Perhaps this is fate? I was planning to get coffee today when I accidentally bumped someone. Looking up I saw it was her. I had knocked over her box of pastries, but because of that I got an excuse to treat her to lunch next week. I even found out her name, Jenny Ching. Even our initials are the same…this must be a good sign.’
‘Jenny and I are officially together. We went on our first date together….’
‘Jenny and I shared our first kiss tonight. We watched the fireworks and I kissed her….’
‘I took Jenny home to meet Mom and Dad tonight. I thought things had gone well, but turns out I was wrong. I returned after sending Jenny home and my parents expressed that they did not approve of Jenny because she worked at a bar. They felt her family status did not match ours. I got into an argument with Dad, but for Jenny, it is worth it.’
‘Jenny had an argument with me today for no reason. I don’t know why it happened. We’ve never gotten into a fight before. I have a bad feeling,,,,’
‘Jenny has left. I got to her apartment and everything was gone. Where has she gone to? Why did she leave?’
‘I miss Jenny, it has been a year she had gone missing. When will she be back?’
Amanda quickly finished the last entry and shut off the computer. She knew Justin would be waking up soon. She quickly took a shower and got dressed. She came out from the bathroom and walked over to Justin’s side, “You’re up early” He noted as he sat up and gave her a kiss.
Amanda gave him a weak smile, “I have some important work to do. I’m going to go ahead and go.”
Justin nodded, “I’ll see you tonight.” He gave her another kiss.
“Bye Justin.” Amanda whispered.

“Amanda, I’m home.” Justin announce as he changed from his leather shoes into a pair of slippers. “Amanda?” he called again. She did not answer. “Maybe she is still at work” Justin thought.
He took a seat on the couch and watched television as he waited for Amanda to come home. Eventually he fell asleep. When morning rolled around, he squinted his eyes from the sun shining in.
Yawning, he walked into his bedroom expecting to find Amanda, but he did not see her. ‘Maybe she went back to her apartment last night.’ He scratched his head and headed for the showers. When he opened his closet to grab some clothes he noticed all of Amanda’s clothes and belongings were gone. “This can’t be happening again.”
He immediately picked up his phone, “This is Amanda Lok, I am currently unable to answer you call. Please leave your name, number, and a brief message. I will get back to you as soon as I can.”
Justin hung up and tried again, but it only went to her voicemail. “Amanda, this is Justin, give me a call back.”

Ekkk….I know, they just got together in the last chapter, but I had to break them up already….have to get Jenny back into the pic again…sorry to Bosco fans for making him such a baddie…
I haven’t watched Heart of Greed yet, but I know Raymond does this diary/journal thing so I took the idea and used it in my story…
haha08 – Amanda and Justin did get together….but I broke them apart….Jenny will be back very soon though….
Sam – Is Amanda hiding something….you’ll just have to keep reading to find out…she does seem very suspicious…and very nosy (as you can see from this chapter) …lol
my0t1 sis – Me too….been so busy watching TDOL and I was getting so depressed with Rayolie….had to write something to cheer me up….but I’m back down to the sad Rayolie again….maybe its because Fenolie has gotten me in a good mood so I’m being mean to Justin by having Amanda leave him….lol…you don’t like ‘nasty’ Bosco…didn’t think you would…..unfortunately, I will have ‘nasty’ Bosco back out one more time….
melted – it’s okay that you missed the chapter before last…just gave you more to read lol…..haha, you must know me too well….couldn’t let them be together so easily…..haha….
Michelle sis – It’s okay, just great to see you back! Well, you are the first to say that you want Justin and Jenny to be together…..is there a reason? Lol….do you not like Amanda’s character….haha….jk….well Jenny will be back out soon!
PinkAngel sis – Awww….that’s for the compliment on my handwriting! There really is two Myolie…as to which one will be the lucky one to end up with Ray, you’ll just have to keep reading!
Joyce sis – Haha, bet you didn’t like Bosco playing the jerk….lol….I’m glad you liked both kisses….I’m totally looking forward to Tai Chi….I want to see a happy Rayolie ending!!!
MistyK – School is okay, not a whole lot of work....haha, don’t worry about me, I have been hanging out with my friends, going to dinner and the movies a lot lately….plus, writing for you guys is very fun too! I’m very nervous about my move, but I’ll get used to it….well…I think in Tai Chi, Rayolie will be drunk in their bed scene, but hopefully it will be as intimate as my scene….lol…
