“This is Amanda Lok, I am currently unable to answer you call. Please leave your name, number, and a brief message. I will get back to you as soon as I can.” He listened to the message for the umpteenth time.
“Amanda, this is Justin, just call me back to let me know that you are okay. I’m really worried.” He picked up the phone again, this time he did not call Amanda’s cell phone, instead he called her office. “May I speak to Miss Amanda Lok please?”
“Miss Lok is out of the country at the moment.”
“Out of the country?” Justin repeated. “Where did she go to?”
“I’m not sure sir.”
“Did she say when she would return?
“No sir.”
“Did she leave a contact number?”
“No sir.”
“When she gets back or if you hear from her will you tell her to call me, my name is Justin Cheung.”
“Oh, Mr. Cheung, Miss Lok left a message for me to tell you.”
“What is it?” Justin asked anxiously.
“She told me to tell you to forget about her and that things were over between the two of you.”

A week had passed, then two weeks passed, and eventually a month had gone by. He still could not accept the fact that Amanda had left him so suddenly. How could it be over for them?
“Mr. Cheung, a representative from CCI is here to see you.” Natalie informed.
“Amanda?” he whispered, “Send her in.” he said immediately.
A male walked into Justin’s office, “Nice to meet you Mr. Cheung, my name is Ben Wong.”
“Why is it you? Where’s Amanda?” Justin questioned.
“Amanda? She has already quit working at CCI over a month ago. I’ll be in charge of this project Mr. Cheung.”
“She’s quit? But where has she gone to?”
“I’m not sure Mr. Cheung.”

Justin was in despair, first it was Jenny and now Amanda. He could not help but wonder if he had done something wrong in his past life, otherwise, why was it that this had happen to him twice already?
As Justin was leaving his company late one afternoon, he felt as if someone was spying on him. He turned his head but no one was there. He continued to walk and when he turned to look back again, he caught sight of the person.
“Amanda!” he screamed, she started running and he chased after her, “Amanda.” He called out again. She continued to run, but finally he caught up to her. He grabbed hold of her wrist to keep her from running away. She turned to look at him. “Aman….” He paused. Something had caught his eye. He stared at the green bracelet she was wearing. “Jenny?”
Her eyes began to water and she began to cry. She threw her arms around Justin’s neck and hugged him, “Justin, I’ve missed you.”
He patted her back, “I’ve missed you too.” He responded back.
They went to a nearby café, “You don’t look too happy to see me.” Jenny noted.
“No, not at all, it’s just that I am very surprise to see you again.”
“I’m really sorry Justin.”
He shook his head, “You don’t need to apologize silly.”
“Are you mad at me Justin?”
“Why should I be mad at you?”
“Because I left without telling you.”
“No, I was never angry with you. I was only worried. I’m just glad you are okay now.”
“Don’t you want to know why I left?”
“I’m sure you had your reason for leaving.”
Jenny looked down, “I knew your parents didn’t like me. They came to my apartment one day and asked me to leave you.” She paused, “I was afraid what they said would be true, that I would get in the way of your career. So I left.”
“Jenny, you shouldn’t have been so silly.”
“I’m sorry” she apologized again. “I know that I shouldn’t have come back, but I’ve missed you too much. I was only going to look at you from afar. I just wanted to know how you were doing….”
“Jenny…”
“No, I understand, I left you, and I am sure you have found a new girlfriend….”
“I….no, I don’t have a girlfriend…” She looked at him and gave him a weak, hopeful, smile. In return, he reached out for her hand on the table and gave a squeeze. “So, what are you doing now? Where are you staying?” he wondered as he knew that Amanda was living in her old apartment.
“I’m working at a florist that’s owned by a friend of mine. I’m staying with her and her husband now, but as they are a newlywed couple, I didn’t want to bother them too long. So, I am actually in the process of finding a new apartment. I was going to see if my old apartment would be available.”
“No.” Justin quickly objected as he knew the others would mistake her for Amanda. He searched in his brain for an excuse, “I heard that it has gotten very expensive in that area. Why don’t you,” he paused as he was hesitant to make his suggestion, “move in with me.” He was not sure if Jenny would agree. Their previous relationship was very simple and innocent; they never stepped out of line. “There’s an extra bedroom” he added.
Jenny smiled at him and nodded. “Thanks Justin.”
Justin wondered if this was fate’s arrangement; the departure of Amanda and the re-entrance of Jenny.

ATTENTION: I have an announcement to make…..first off, I want to start by apologizing to everyone….this story may have to go on hold temporarily because next week I will be moving and beginning a new chapter in my life, (no I am not getting married nor am I having a child) I am actually starting grad school, aka pharmacy school. I am not sure yet as to how much time I will have to write and update, so this may be the last update in a while. But if time permits, I shall update when I can. If not, I will definitely update when I am on my break!

my0t1 sis – Yes, I broke them up…..one of the olies will end up, right? I think I know who you are going to guess, but I will wait until you post to tell you if that is what I thought you would guess.

triumph sis – so what did you think about Jenny? I guess compared to Amanda, Jenny just seems so plain and ordinary…

A Raymond vs Raymond….lol….I don’t think so, but I am considering a Rayolie vs Fenolie story…..but I am not too sure as I feel I would be very torn between the two. Not to mention the fact that I have so many other stories to write and finish….we shall see if I can find time...
Tracy sis – I am sad too that I had to break Justin and Amanda up, but now Justin has Jenny back and Jenny is the one that he loves…..but what will happen to Amanda…..lol…now we have to wait for Amanda to come back….
Joyce sis – Jenny has reappeared and she will be staying with Justin….will their relationship still be the same as before???
MistyK – Yes, that’s the way to go MistyK….just think about it positively….one of the two Myolie’s will be with Ray….lol….I don’t think this chapter was very exciting…but I will try to add some excitement into the next chapter!
