Chapter 21

,,`Set up?

***RECAP***
Guigui skipped to the car without any further ado. Though it looked as if she didn’t care, she really wanted to know what he was going to say, but she had stopped him because she didn’t want any feelings developed between them. Why? Because she hated guys. Yes, it’s been years since the last person who broke her heart, but she didn’t want to risk it. She got too hurt to move on…
***END OF RECAP***

Morning soon arrived. Aaron and Guigui were in their separate rooms getting ready for their flight. It was 4:30 am and both were still tired because of the events that took place yesterday. Guigui walked to the dinner table and ate her breakfast. Soon, Aaron joined her, but silence prevailed. No one talked. “Morning guys!” Sr. Yan exclaimed. “Morning” The two replied, lifelessly. “You guys seem dead, probably too early.” Sr. Yan said as he sipped his coffee. He walked towards the Living Room and turned the TV on. The weather was supposedly cold… but Guigui didn’t know, leaving the house wearing summer clothes.

On their way, Guigui shivered. She had a jacket in her luggage, but they were running late. There was no time to stop or else they would miss their flight. Aaron looked over at the poor Ghost, shivering in the dark. He took off his sweater and wrapped it around Guigui. Surprised, Guigui stared at Aaron and said: “Oh… Thank you… Aren’t you cold?” Aaron didn’t reply, but gave her a huge smile.

-GUIGUI’S POV:-
His sweet smile brightened my day, hence the cold weather. It was 4:50 and the flight was at 5:00. As soon as we arrived at the Airport, the butler and a few servants helped us with our luggages. To my surprise, Aaron held my hand and ran, pulling me along with him. I took a glimpse of his face, and I smiled. Maybe… I have developed feelings? Maybe? “Gui, we’re going to have to move fast if we don’t want to miss our flight.” Aaron exclaimed. “Hao” I smiled. When we reached the flight attendant, she told us to just follow her, and soon we were at our seats. “Wow! I haven’t ridden on First Class before.” I talked to myself. “You haven’t? Well, I’d be glad to accompany you the whole ride, Ms. Wu.” Aaron gestured. We sat on our seats and talked; we talked about random things on how we were going to jump out of the plane and such. We had a lot of fun, and eventually we became tired. “I’m going to sleep now, before I laugh my heart out.” I told him, still laughing. I turned to the other side and closed my eyes…

-AARON’S POV:-
Whahah! She’s finally sleeping! Time to take advantage of her… Wait, don’t get me wrong. I’m not going to be a pervert. Ehehe… I took out my camera and Guigui’s make up bag. I opened her Make Up kit, and took out a few eye liners, lipstick, and the other things I have no idea what it’s called. I started drawing on her face. I drew a pig and took a picture of her. She still looked cute, despite the pig on her face. Haha! I drew other random things, and took pictures of it as well. Then, I placed everything back to where they belonged, and closed my eyes as well.

When I woke up, I saw Guigui watching a movie. I examined her, and her face was clean. She didn’t have my drawings on her face anymore. “hmmph, you think you can fool me, Aaron Yan Ya Lun?” Guigui smirked. “I know what you did…” she continued, with a face filled with success. “Why are you smiling like that?” I asked curiously. “Oh… Nothing…” she replied. I know that she had done something. Her face portrayed trouble all over it… I was suspicious… I was going to turn my laptop on, when I saw my reflection. SHE DREW ON ME! I looked at Guigui… “What? You started it, Aaron.” She exclaimed. I began tickling her not caring about the rest of the passengers, because there weren’t any! It was only Guigui and I that occupied First Class.

BORACAY, Philippines:

“That was a quick flight.” Guigui said. “What do you expect? Philippines and Taiwan are like neighbours!” I replied, making her look stupid. She hit me on my arm, “shut up.” She said back. “Oww! What was that for?” I asked making a pouting face. “You fail… Your pouting face sucks.” Guigui laughed and walked away. I ran after her and asked, “Do you even know where you’re going?” Dumbfounded, Guigui replied: “No… Not really. Let’s go to the hotel…”

Guigui insisted in riding a tricycle, though we had a limo. Gui and I climbed on the tricycle, while the butler/driver placed our luggage into the limo. “To ___ please.” I instructed. “Have you ever been her Guigui?” I asked. “Yes. I’ve been here. I know a few people here. I even have enemies here.” Guigui chuckled. “Enemies?” I continued to ask. “Yes, enemies…” she replied. “We’re here.” The tricycle driver said. “Here’s the faire. Thank you!” We waved. We were both amazed on how tropical the hotel looked. It was down to earth, yet tremendous! As we entered, the Filipino women welcomed us, as they have been waiting. “Are you Mr. Yan?” one asked me. “Yes.” I nodded. “Ms. Wu?” another asked. “Yeah?” Guigui replied. “Please follow us.” The driver had followed behind us, as well as some workers, with our luggages. “This is your room!” The lady said. “Uhm… excuse me, but shouldn’t there be 2 rooms?” Guigui asked. “No. Sr. and Mrs. Yan specifically said: Make sure they sleep in the same room.” The girl said and soon left.

“Guigui?” I asked, waving my hand in her face. “Why are your parents setting us up?” Guigui wondered. “I don’t know…” I replied…
