“Guigui?” I asked, waving my hand in her face. “Why are your parents setting us up?” Guigui wondered. “I don’t know…” I replied…
***END OF RECAP***
Guigui stood there, still confused and filled with questions. What were the real reasons for Sr. and Mrs. Yan’s actions? Guigui watched as Aaron placed their luggage’s inside the closets. “Guigui! Come look at how big this room is!” Aaron exclaimed as he marvelled the room. The bed was well made with decorated pillows on top of it. The tropical feeling was in it. There was a couch beside the bed that looked fairly new.
Guigui walked towards the window and opened it. She walked out and stood at the balcony, watching the other people as they did their own activities. Aaron didn’t look too disappointed with sharing a room with Guigui. All he knew was that, he changed. He wasn’t as cold as he was before. Aaron walked to the balcony and stood beside Ghost, as she watched how people interacted with others. “Guigui, let’s go to the beach!” Aaron exclaimed, trying to cheer Guigui up. “Uh, you go ahead. I feel tired. I’m going to sleep.” Guigui replied. Aaron didn’t say another word. He left the room and headed for the lobby. He approached the front desk and talked to the lady working.
“Excuse me, may I have a word with you?” Aaron asked as he leaned on the desk. “Sure, what do you need Mr. Yan?” the girl answered. “May I get another room?” Aaron asked, knowing that Guigui wanted space. “Another room? I’m sorry sir, but the rooms are fully booked. No more space.” The lady replied. Aaron knew what her parents have been doing. For now, he’ll have to sleep on the couch.

“Excuse me sir, would you like to buy some of our food?” A street vendor asked, in broken English. “what is it?” Aaron asked politely as he looked over the food. “This is called Fish Ball. Would you like to try it before you buy?” the vendor explained. “Sure” Aaron replied…
30 minutes later:
“Guigui!” Aaron yelled as he ran in the room. “You have to try this! It’s awesome!” he continued. Aaron looked around the room, searching for Gui. But she was not in sight. He placed the food on the table and ran into the balcony, looking for Guigui. Then after 2 minutes of skimming through the people, Aaron spotted a girl in a tank top that looked like Guigui. He eyed her then ran out to follow her.
Reaching Guigui’s destination, he spotted her talking to a boy. His pace slowed down as he saw tears trickling down Gui’s face. He realized that she needed comforting so he ran to her and asked: “Guigui, are you okay?” He stood in front of her not caring about the guy he walked in front of. He wiped her tears away, and then hugged her. Guigui didn’t push him away. After a few seconds he broke the hug and turned to the guy Guigui was talking too. “Aaron, this is Xiao Gui. Xiao Gui, this is Aaron.” Guigui introduced. “Nice to meet you” Xiao Gui held his hand up. “Nice to meet you too.” Aaron replied coldly, shaking Xiao Gui’s hand. “So… Guigui can you please give me a chance?” Xiao Gui asked. Aaron stood there surprised. Was he asking her to be with him? “Uhm, no!” Aaron shouted. He didn’t know what he was doing. He looked stupid, so he continued, “You can’t because she’s my… girlfriend!” Guigui looked at Aaron, surprised. “Aaron…” Guigui whispered…
