Though the courses he gave had taken much of his time. But he never fail to remember to fetch me up everytime he had the time to. Never would he dissapoint me. He is the so-called perfect boyfriend by me as he always knows best how to cheer me up.
As I continued walking, something caught my eyes. It was the shadow of a figure I used to know. I traced out the figure’s steps to reassure my thought. I got closer and closer to the figure until I can see the person plainly. Would it possibly be..
“Chester..?” I finally said out my love name as I got right in front of him.
“Ah..Chelsea..!?” He trembled, half-shocked, half-confused.
I jumped blissfully towards him. But before I could continue my joyfullness, I stirred my eyes to the direction next to him. The direction in which I saw a girl, probably younger than me, but definitely cuter than me, hand in hand with my beloved Chester.
Thoughts of negativity were flashing through my mind. Would it be possible if Chester cheat on me? No! I should asked him first about what was actually going on before I jumped into any pointless conclusion.
“Who is she? Your sister?” I enquired.
Chester gave a short sigh before he reply my question. He looked undeniable startled as he seemed to have no idea of what to say.
His reaction had sent me anxiety. Who this girl could possibly be? If she’s his sister, why would he become this nervy of not knowing what to say?
“Ches? You haven’t answered yet..” I blurted out, trying to be a little firm as I don’t wanna be the same weak girl like I was two years before. If there had been any chance that Chester was cheating on me, then I wouldn’t wanna be as frail as I was when I faced Ronald that day.
Chester then dragged the girl away, giving a distance from me and whispered something to the girl before the girl agreed to leave...Leaving me and Chester alone.
After the girl left, Chester stepped up towards me.
“Chel, let’s get somewhere to talk.” Chester speaks up before he continued walking, leaving me behind him. He didn’t even wait for me when he walked!? The situation had sent me the feeling that something bad is about to happen between me and Chester.
As the result, I walked behind him; following him till he stopped on a park right in front of him. He glimpsed at me a while, assigning me to follow him to the park where there was a bench.
It was indeed a nice and serene spot to come. Many couples spend their time on that park as there are many benches there, enjoying each other existence as silence are all over the place.
Chester chose to sit on a bench laid nearest to us. I followed him from behind, then took a seat right next to him. At first, silence was taken place above us. I dare not say anything as I was too scared to know the truth of what was actually going on as I never had expected that such incident would happen after almost a year we had been accompanying each other, putting each other’s effort to build a good relationship between the two of us. But now, all of the endeavour seems to lead us to a big fallacy.
“Chel, I think it’s time for me to clear things up.” Chester finally began to speak.
Still, I waited for him to continue his words. I dare not look in to his eyes. All the time I was just staring at the grass before me, feeling their companion as I felt all alone although I had Chester by my side. I don’t know why, but I got the feeling that he’s about to leave me just then.
“Chel, the girl that was with me is my girlfriend.” Chester speaks softly. He didn’t tremble this time. It seemed like he was sure about what he was saying; telling me, his own girlfriend, that he got another girl in his heart.
“Since when?” I asked plainly. Still didn’t look at his eyes. I just wanted to know how long he had been playing me around.
“Two or three months I believe..”
“I see..” My answer was definitely plain. I knew that I was about to cry. And I knew that no matter how hard I struggled to stop the tears from streaming out, I would still cry.
“I’m sorry Chelsea..I know I’m such a bastard! But you do mean a lot to me..”
“Mean a lot to you!? I don’t need that, Ches! How could you wish me to believe in your words again after all this time I trusted you, but you betrayed me after all!” Furiously, Chelsea yelled out to Chester. “Why didn’t you just break me up when you dated that girl!? Why did you keep me as your girlfriend instead!?” I could feel tears ran down my cheek as I screamed out my words to Chester.
“I know Chel..I know I hurt you with this! But..I was just playing around with her..My love is just for you, Chel..! I never wanna break up with you! That’s why I kept you as my girlfriend..” As Chester uttered his statement, he leaned closer to wipe my tear and nearer, as I can see he was willing to kiss me. I noticed his intention that I pushed him away. I gave him a look of disgust. After what he had done to me and now he still wanted to lean his lips on mine!? Not a single chance!!
“Chel..what’s it with you? I’ve apologized already..!” Chester shrieked out, protesting my reaction towards him.
“Sorry Ches..I don’t like to hang out with professional playboy like you! A great acting you did these months! Or..was I the one that being too stupid!?” I uttered fiercely as I stood up to leave.
It was when Chester got hold of my arm and pulled me back to sit.
