After days passed since the award show, Chelsea never did any contact with Oscar and especially with Stanley. She found that the rumours about her and Oscar is still exist though there exist the new rumour, which was about her and Stanley. She knew that the rumour arise because they went to the award show together. At first she was trying to deny everytime the reporters caught her, either after school or when she was doing her shooting. But they never seemed to care to her denial. The news kept on spread until she finally didn’t care anymore of what the media said.
Chelsea was cooking her breakfast when she heard someone was knocking occasionally on her front door.
“Who’s coming at this kind of time!?” She asked herself. “It’s quite early in the morning!” She scolded.
She rushed her feet to the front door as the knock didn’t stop.
She almost jumped blissfully when she find out who the person was. “Oscar!?” She screamed.
After days didn’t meet nor contact each other, Chelsea felt kinda missing him.
Oscar didn’t reply. He just gave her his nervous smile and rushed his feet to the inside of her house. He was afraid that there would be another paparazzi following his way to Chelsea’s home. He didn’t want any rumours spread about their relationship anymore.
“Os..?” Chelsea shut the door after Oscar got in and followed him who was sat himself on the sofa. “What’s a matter? Are you okay?” She asked in full of concern as Oscar acted differently that day.
“No..nothing..it’s just that..” He stopped a while to take a deep breath. Chelsea waited patiently for him to continue. “Chel..you’ve heard about the news being spread, right?”
She nodded her head. “About our relationship, right?”
Oscar nodded his head. “Well..my agency and my recording company couldn’t tolerate this..”
Again, he stopped. Chelsea stared at him in confuse. “So..you looked all troubled is because of this?”
He didn’t reply her with words. He just stared at her.
Chelsea smiled. “Don’t worry, Os! I’ll manage to cover it..We can play cats-and-dogs with the media..” She joked.
But Oscar didn’t smile. He didn’t find the joke funny. His reaction had made Chelsea stopped her joke. She prefer herself remained silent. The situation went to the awkward stage as the both of them stayed silent.
Suddenly, Oscar reached his hand to Chelsea and got hold of her hands. He held it tight. “Chel..I know this is our risk since we first decided to be as boyfriend and girlfriend..And I realised that this would happen since I asked you to be my girl..But..I never thought that my agency and my record company would react the way they do when they heard the rumours ‘bout us..though I always deny..” He stopped.
Chelsea started to feel that something bad was about to be said by Oscar. Somehow, she just could sense it.
“Chel..” He continued. “I think we should take a break for a while..”
“What!?” She asked in surprised. She pulled her hands out of Oscar’s holding. “But..we still can cover it, right? Why should we take a break? There’s nothing went wrong within our relationship..! It’s just the outside problem..!? Why should we take a break?” She declined.
“I know..I know..” Again, he reached for Chelsea’s hands. “But..this is about my career..Please..do understand me..” He said pleadingly.
Chelsea inhaled deeply. She knew that even if she tried real hard to decline, but Oscar would still ask for their break. Thus, she gave in. “Alright..If this is for your own good..I think I can accept that..Just for a while, right?” She asked. Oscar nodded. She knew she just didn’t want to lose Oscar. She was never playing in doing a relationship.
Finally, a charming smile occured on Oscar’s face. “Thank’s honey..” He said. “I know I can always count on you..”
Seeing Oscar smiled like that, she couldn’t help herself but to hug him. “Just don’t take too long..” She said. “Promise me..that after the problem with your agency and your company are settled, the first person you’re gonna look for is me..”
Oscar released the hug. He stared deeply on Chelsea’s big round eyes.
“I promise..” He said.
Their faces were just distance away. Oscar leaned closer and closer until finally their lips met in their first passionate kiss.

Days to pass..
Chelsea went to GlobalVision to arrange her new schedule. This time, she didn’t want it to be too full of activities. Besides, she didn’t chase for money. She found herself already got quite a lot of money since her first commercial that she paid her school and her living cost on her own. She didn’t want to bother her Mom with money. Though actually, she didn’t want to use her step father’s money for her life. She just hated him.
Thus, she felt so grateful that now she could pay everything on her own.
As she entered GlobalVision, she almost collided into someone. And to her surprised, that person was Stanley. She was preparing herself to be scolded by him due to their last separation on the award show which was not very good.
But instead of yelling, Stanley found himself surprised of meeting Chelsea. “Chel? Hey..how have you been?” He asked.
“Eh..?” Chelsea found herself puzzled up. This Stanley, she thought, has he forgot already about the quarrel that night?
“What are you doing here? Assiging another contract?” He asked.
“Well..no..just arranging my schedule..you know, I don’t have manager..” She replied. Somehow, she kept the thought of the quarrel aside. If there would be any chance that they could become as good friends, then she’d prefer not to spoil that. “And you? What are you doing here?” She questioned.
“I’m about to shoot the next clip..and I was finished discussing it with Kyle..” Stanley explained.
“I see..” She responded. “Well, I think I need to go inside..I need to arrange my schedule before the workers have their lunch time..”
“Mmh..Chelsea..” Stanley called out right before Chelsea went inside the lift. “Maybe we can have some eat together..I just wanna thank you for your help on my album..” He said. “Are you free tonight?”
“Mmh..I’m afraid I got an appointment to do..” It wasn’t an appointment actually. Trista was going to come to her home and stay for the night.
“Well..how bout now? After you finished arranging your schedule?” He insisted.
She thought for some seconds. “Alright..!” She answered. A smile curved on her lips.
“Okay then..I’ll wait for you at the lobby!” Stanley replied.
