“Chel, I’m sorry but I can’t accompany you to go to the mall..” That is what I heard from the voice of Trista on the other end of the line. “I gotta stay over my house because my parents had a special party held with their colleagues..I’m so sorry Chel..”
“Okay..that’s fine, Tris..I understand. Poor you, have to spend your weekend looking over the house..!” I exclaimed teasingly towards Trista.
“Ya..I’m so pity! But poor you too to spend your Saturday night walking alone at the Mall!” Trista spoke followed by a laugh.
“Well, I don’t think I’ll still go there..” I spoke out. I wasn’t in the mood of going, especially to the mall, alone, on Saturday night, while everybody were having their boyfriend or girlfriend as companion.
“What!? Are you loosing your mind!? Chel, the biggest sale is held tonight! Are you so idiot that makes you wanna let go the chance to have bought lovely clothings just because you don’t have me as companion!?” Trista spoke those words out in one breath. Her voice sounded like mad. “If I weren’t forced to look over the house then I wouldn’t wanna miss the chance to hunt those dresses!”
Trista’s words made me wanna giggle. She was definitely so obsessed of anything related to ‘sale’.
“Alright, alright, I go..” I gave in.
“Good! That’s my girl!” Trista’s voice suddenly changed to an alleviate one. “Now go get dress! Choose the best outfit, k!?”
“Okay..Bye, Tris! Enjoy your night..!” I gave her the last taunt before I hung up the phone. I could hear Trista was blabbing on my last sentence, but I pretended not hearing it when I hung up the phone.
I headed myself to my room and opened my wardrobe, searching for suitable outfit to wear. I wanted to look gorgeous tonight.
After spent sometime of choosing what dress to wear, I finally decided one. It was a blue sleeveless shirt paired with a white short skirt. As soon as I finished putting on my clothes, I began to do the make-ups. Just a minor make-up I put since I never like to put too much make-up on my face.
I looked up at the mirror to check my appearance. Satisfied with my look, I grabbed my bag and prepared to leave.
In less than twenty minutes, I’ve already arrived at the mall. I was stunned when I entered the mall to see so many people inside. I’ve never seen the mall as crowded as it is now..Wow, it seemed like everybody had the same interest and same chemistry if it’s about ‘sale’.
Didn’t wanna lose too much time being bewildered by the situation, I immediately entered the nearest outlet. There was so many people filled the store when I entered it, most of them were teenagers.
Wow..they are all so possessed with all the clothings! Seeing them grabbing clothes like that..Like mad! Looks like I had to vie with all of them, or else I would get home empty handed.

“Phew..I’ve finally finished..!” I sighed of satisfaction seeing my hands were full of bags of clothes. I’ve also bought a cloth for Trista. I knew she was upset being alone at home while everybody was out.
Feeling thirsty, I dragged myself to the food-court on the fourth floor. I headed myself to the bubble tea stand at one corner of the food court.
“One lychee bubble tea please..” I told the guy there. I always loved bubble tea, especially the lychee one. I never forgot to buy one everytime I went to the mall.
“Right away Ms..” There goes the answer of the servant.
Not so long after that, he handed me a glass of cold lychee bubble tea. Just seeing the glass had made my saliva increased. I took the glass and decided to have a seat on one of the tables there. Wow! I felt like heaven as soon as my butt touched the chair. I must have spent many hours here. I glanced at my watch. What!? 8.15!? I’ve strolling down the mall for almost like four hours!? No wonder my butt felt the longing to sit after so much time spent on haunting the dresses!
And so I decided to have a sit longer before I went home. I took a view at the surrounding. Though the mall was still full with people, but certainly not as crowded as this afternoon when I first arrived. Swiftly, my eyes stopped at one direction.
‘That man..why he stares at me like that? Is he a bad guy?’ I thought to myself. But then I realised that I’ve seen him on almost every store I entered. ‘Is he following me?’
All of a sudden, my body was shivering. Ya, I remember! He was there on every store I entered! Is he really following me?! God, I should’ve gone home earlier!
Aware that the man probably a bad guy, I took a decision to get home quickly. Maybe he was a bad guy, maybe he wasn’t. It could be just my stupid feeling. But it’s always better to stay away from anything creepy, right!? Well..at least, that’s how it goes for me.
I took the last sip on my bubble tea before I got up and prepared to leave. And that was when the man walked towards me.
‘God! Please save me!’ I prayed upon seeing the man got nearer and nearer me. I quickly grabbed my bags in anxious, hoping I could leave before the man arrived at my front. But it was too late..
“Good evening, Ms..” The man started to speak out to me.
My heart pumping like mad. I dared not looking onto the man’s eyes. But then something inside me told me not to be afraid. And so I dared myself to reply.
“Yes?” I replied with a chill tone.
“I’m sorry to disturb you..but do you bother spend a while talking to me?” The man spoke in polite.
I put suspicious on him that probably weren’t hidden that he continued, “Don’t worry..I’m not a bad guy, I promise!”
I nodded my head and got myself back to sit with the man following me, sitting right in front of me. I was kinda wary with him actually, but I couldn’t lie to myself as I was wondering what he actually wanted. Nervously, I played my fingers on the empty bubble tea glass laid on the table, waiting for this guy to begin the talk.
“I’m Andrew Thong,” The man spoke while offering his hand for me to shake. I hesitated at first whether to shake his hand or not, but then I decided to show polite that I finally shook his hand. “Chelsea Tsai,” I replied.
“Ms. Tsai, I think you probably noticed that I’ve been following you..” He took a second stop before he continued. “Well, I’m the talent-seeker for GlobalVision..And..I think I found all the criteria my superior wants in you, Ms. Tsai.”
I widened my eyes upon hearing his words. Talent-seeker!? GlobalVision!? What is this man talking about? What I know was that GlobalVision was a production house. Many of GlobalVision’s dramas played on TV.
“Well, we’ve been searching for a girl to play the role on GlobalVision’s next drama, titled ‘At The Dolphin Bay’. I hope you interested to join us, Ms. Tsai?”
“Eh..what!? Me!? Playing a role in a drama!?”
“Ya..here’s my name card. You can contact me as soon as possible, or perhaps..I can have your number?”

[The following morning...]
Today I got nothing to do but to relax and lay my back a while, after a week been so busy of homeworks and tests.
I called Trista last night and I’ve told her the whole things happening at the mall yesterday. She sounded so excited to my story that she kept on blabbing, saying that I must not let the chance of becoming a star slipped from my hand since the opportunity wouldn’t arrive twice.
Well, to be honest, I’m actually feeling so happy being chosen by GlobalVision’s talent-seeker, but on the other hand, I felt so nervy as I’ve never experienced acting thingy so seriously. I only done some dramas on my school, but I did it with my friends and it was just for fun or for marks. But this one..it’s to be consumed by the society..
Suddenly, my mobile phone rang. I took a look at it. The number wasn’t recognized..Who could this be?
The phone kept on ringing that woken me up from my thought. I then pressed the yes button.
“Hello?”
“Ms. Chelsea Tsai?” The voice on the other end of the line questioned me.
“Yes?”
“Good afternoon, I’m Andrew Thong! We met last night at the mall, remember?”
“Ah..Mr. Thong! Ya, I remember..” Of course I remembered! How could I forget the guy that offered me to become a celebrity!?
“I’ve spoke to my superior, and he is so interested in meeting you! Can you come along?” Mr. Thong’s voice sounded like he just got a grand prize or sumthing. Weren’t me who supposed to sound like that?
“Mmh..okay..But when?”
“Tomorrow afternoon..”
“Tomorrow!?”
“Ya, the drama couldn’t be delayed anymore. It’s almost the deadline for me to get some players to do the casting. So..could you please come?” Mr. Thong’s voice sounded half insisting.
“Well, I got nothing to do after school tomorrow after..So..ya, I can.” I replied. And my reply definitely sent him an approval.
“Good!! Here’s the address..” Mr. Thong then dictated me the address.
“...from Saphire Avenue, I turned left..Okay..I get it. I’ll get there as soon as I got home from school, Mr. Thong.”
“Alrite then, see you tomorrow at GlobalVision, Ms. Tsai.”

[The following afternoon...]
I must hurry! A guy like Mr. Thong’s superior wouldn’t like to have to wait for anybody, especially me, who is no one! I don’t wanna give them bad impression on our first meeting! Trista had sent me her best wishes to do the meeting with Mr. Thong’s boss. I’ve asked her to come and accompany me to go to GlobalVision. I knew that everything would turn out well, or at least I would be much soother if Trista’s around. But as always, she must look over her house and also her baby brother. Haiz..hope everything will going on well.
I took a cap to get to GlobalVision and arrived there in just twenty minutes. Gosh..I’m so damn nervous!
‘Wow! GlobalVision is quite big from the outside. Don’t know how’s the inside looks like..’
I headed myself to enter the building. As soon a I got to the inside, I went to the receptionist there to ask where I can meet Mr. Thong and his superior.
The receptionist told me to wait for a while before she then ordered one of the bellboy there to take me to Mr. Thong’s office.
The bellboy took me to the sixth floor and showed me Mr. Thong’s office. I knocked on the door as soon as I got to the front of Mr. Thong’s office. I took a deep breath in the mean time before Mr. Thong opened the door.
“Ms. Tsai!! Glad that you finally arrive! Come, Mr. Chan is waiting for you in his office!” Mr. Thong spoke out with eyes full of excitement. Is he really that content to see me here? Well, his reaction had gave me a chill actually. I felt like I’m so welcomed here.
Mr. Thong got me to Mr. Chan’s office, whom I assumed is his boss, who is probably the owner of GlobalVision. All of a sudden, I felt my heart pumped like mad. If I’m at the age of fifties right now, I probably could have died because of this heart-thumping!
I saw Mr. Thong knocking on a door in front of him. After hearing a reply from the inside as an order to get in, Mr. Thong then dare himself to open the door.
“Mr. Chan, here is the girl I’ve talked about!” Mr. Thong spoke out as soon as he got to the inside of Mr. Chan’s office. I followed Mr. Thong from his behind.
Upon hearing Mr. Thong’s explanation, Mr. Chan took an intensed look at me that made me shudder a little. Finished with his observation on me, he gave a silent for a while.
“Mr. Thong, a good job you’ve done! She’s definitely what we’ve been searching for!” Mr. Chan finally spoke up.
A smile occured on Mr. Thong’s face.
“What’s your name, young lady?” Mr. Chan asked me.
“Chelsea Tsai.” I answered firmly. Funny I felt. Everytime I got so nervous, I always could somehow hid it and showed people that I was totally chill.
“Chelsea Tsai..Excellent name! So, Chelsea..do you interested in joining us and become one of our actress?”

Phew..a quite long chapter.

So Chelsea is offered to become a drama player..She’s actually offered the role of Yi Tian Bian which is played by Angela on the real drama.
Wallace Huo is so gorgeous in that movie..Kyaaa!! ^_^!
