Chapter 1

Christmas (Ryeowook/Heechul)

"Get up. Get up, already!" Heechul hissed quietly in the younger boy's ear. Ryeowook shook his head drowsily.
"Hyung? What are you doing?" He glanced over at the clock next to his bed. The numers were glowing eerily in the dark. "It's three in the morning." He rolled over and was about to go back to sleep, but another rough shake on the shoulder woke him up.
"Come on, Ryeowook, it's Christmas! Wake up and lets see what the others gave us!" Ryeowook sighed, knowing there was no chance of him getting anymore sleep. Christmastime was always very busy for the band. Apart from their packed schedule, there was trying to run around and get presents for just about everyone else. And, of course, there was no knowing what exactly Heechul wanted and didn't want. Guessing used to be pretty easy until, well, last year wasn't particularly as cheerful as it could have been.
Ryeowook looked over at Heechul. Despite it being so early in the morning the sun wasn't even up, the older boy's eyes were sparkling with excitment, and he looked like he was on the verge of jumping up and down like a five year old. Far cry from a usual morning, when it was hours later and Heechul was ready to push somebody in front of a semi.
"I knew you'd get up for me. That's why I didn't ask any of the others. Most of them are so mean sometimes." Heechul pouted as Ryeowook stretched, wishing he wasn't quite as nice as he was. "Come on!" Heechul whispered as loud as he could without waking Ryeowook's still-sleeping room mates. Lucky, Ryeowook thought, looking back at his warm bed before he was pulled away and to the front of the house.
Ryeowook sat down on the couch and curled up, hoping Heechul would be too interested in his presents to notice the sleeping boy. However, he wasn't quite so lucky. It had only been five minutes of Heechul's voice floating over his head when suddenly, it was right next to his ear. "You can't still be wanting to sleep!" He exclaimed. Ryeowook opened his eyes. Heechul was staring at him, and at the moment in seemed the words 'personal space' had no meaning.
"Hyung." Ryeowook complained, trying to turn on the couch, but ended up only falling off. Heechul snorted.
"Perhaps I need to try a different method." He sat Ryeowook up. The younger boy was too tired to do otherwise. He didn't realize quite what Heechul was doing until he felt the warm lips against his own. His eyes shot open.
"W-what are you doing?" Heechul smiled, never pulling away as he murmured, "you're awake now, aren't you? Told It'd work. You know, the others won't be up for quite a while." Heechul's smile grew to a grin. Ryeowook looked over at the boxes and gift wrapping.
"D-don't you want to see what gifts you've got?"
"I'd rather be giving you your present now." Thin arms wrapped around Ryeowook's neck, and Ryeowook, didn't resist as he became entwined with a warm and surprisingly loving Heechul.
