(Roger's office)
ADA: Let me tell you another thing!
ROGER: What?
ADA: Flora IS innocent, but I can’t say that for Gallen!
ROGER: Why do you say that?
ADA: Gallen likes Flora! if you two continue with your cold war, (sighs) then just too bad!
ROGER: (pouting) No! Flora won’t like him!
ADA: (sighs again) That’s hard to say! She was innocent and some petty guy doesn’t believe her, and had been ignoring her for two days! If Gallen would seize the opportunity to shower more care and attention on her… well… (shrugs) What do you think?
ROGER: (suddenly stood up) How dare he!
ADA: (laughing) Whoa, Roger, you’re so funny!
ROGER: If he dares to lay his finger on Flora, I’ll chop him up!
ADA: (covers her mouth) Oh my god, so violent!
ROGER: (grins) Kidding, Ada!
ADA: Don’t worry, I’ll help you!
ROGER: Thanks, Ada!
ADA: So I supposed you know what to do now?
ROGER: I’ll call her now!
ADA: (holding up her hand) Wait! She’s outside!
ROGER: Really?
ADA: Of course! I’ll go out and call her in!
ROGER: Hey, wait! Do you have a comb and mirror?
ADA: (narrows her eyes in bewilderment) For what?
ROGER: I need to tidy myself a bit, Miss!
ADA: (grinning) Vain!
ROGER: Not vain! This is called respect!
ADA: Ok, fine. (passes him the items) Make it snappy!
ROGER: Hey, can you help me to tidy the table as well?
ADA: You are so troublesome!
ROGER: (makes a puppy face) Please…
ADA: Ok.
ROGER: (combing) Hey, do I look ok?
ADA: Yeah yeah, the most handsome of all! I can’t stand you!
She opens the door to pull Flora in and leaves them to talk.
ROGER: Erh… I’m sorry for leaving you alone that day… I…
FLORA: (without lifting her head up) Still angry at me?
ROGER: (putting his hands on her shoulder) No! I know it was not your fault. It’s that Gallen Yip!
FLORA: It’s not his fault either!
ROGER: (pouting) Why are you defending him?
FLORA: (nervous) No… it’s not like that… it’s…
ROGER: (chuckles) Silly! I was just teasing you!
FLORA: You’re so bad!
ROGER: Yeah, I’m the worst guy in the world. (whispers in her ear) But you still love me!
FLORA: (grinning) Who is so free to love you? (something dropped from her bag)
ROGER: (picking it up) What is this? (opening up) Happy Teddy? Who is this?
FLORA: Erm…
ROGER: Gallen Yip? Why did you bring along the things he gave you?
FLORA: I didn’t mean to, I didn’t know it was in my bag… (tugging his sleeve) You said you’re not angry…
ROGER: Well… I am now!
FLORA: At most I’ll promise you I’ll not see him alone again, ok?
ROGER: I’m not that authoritative!
FLORA: (teasing) Fine! That means I can see him!
ROGER: And you’re so happy about it?
FLORA: Just kidding. (hugging him) No one will tear us up!
ROGER: (tightening the hug) Of course!
ADA: (knocks and enters) Ahem, sorry. Didn’t mean to intrude, but I left my mobile here! (rushing to the table to get it)
FLORA: She’s laughing at us!
ROGER: Ok, let me take revenge for you!
With that, Roger pulls Ada over and tries to tickle her. Flora joined in the fun.
ADA: Awww… it’s so unfair, two against one!

(1 June 2004 – Tuesday – Below KK – 12 plus)
ADA: (catching her breath) Sorry Gallen, did you wait very long?
GALLEN: Erm… it’s ok. You’re such a scatterbrain, leaving your mobile in the office!
ADA: (surprised) How did you know?
GALLEN: I called you just now, and I heard your voice but you weren’t answering…
ADA: (realizes) Ooops! That means you heard what they said?
GALLEN: (disappointedly) Yup, expected. (walks to his car)
ADA: (following him) Your idea does work, when I told Roger you likes Flora, he remarked that he want to chop you up!
GALLEN: (continue walking) Really?
ADA: Didn’t you want to help them patch up? Then why are you so unhappy? Don’t tell me what you wanted me to convey was the truth?
GALLEN: Of course not!
ADA: Did anybody told you that you are such a bad liar?
GALLEN: Say another word and no lunch treat for you!
ADA: (sighs) Deluding yourself!

(4 June – Friday – campus)
SAMMUL: (catching up with Myolie) Myo!
MYOLIE: Sammul? Haven’t seen you for the whole week! How was your trip to Cheung Chau?
SAMMUL: It was great! And guess what? I met your idol there!
MYOLIE: (excited) You did?
SAMMUL: And I have even invited him to perform for us next Monday!
MYOLIE: And he agreed? He’s so kind!
SAMMUL: Yup, you bet. I told him it was for fund-raising and he agreed immediately!
MYOLIE: That’s great!
SAMMUL: Maybe you should give me a dinner treat?
MYOLIE: No problem!
SAMMUL: Then I’ll treat you to the movies?
MYOLIE: (smiles) Ok.
TAVIA: (sneaking up) Then who is giving me a treat?
SAMMUL: You scared me! Just pop-up like that!
TAVIA: (teasing) If you’re so timid then don’t go after my best friend!
MYOLIE: (blushing) Tavia! (looking at her watch) Ermm… I must go now!
TAVIA: (pulling her) I was just joking with you, Myo!
MYOLIE: No, I really need to go. I’m meeting Ray!
TAVIA: Meeting Ray? For what?
MYOLIE: Don’t be such a busybody! Got to go, see you! (runs off)
TAVIA: Why is she so secretive? They must be up to something!
SAMMUL: You and your little intuition again!
TAVIA: It’s all you fault! Who ask you to go to Cheung Chau last week? Of all times!
SAMMUL: Hey, I need to do my research!
TAVIA: Now Myo must have stolen away my Ray!
SAMMUL: Oh gosh, you’re really thick-skinned!
TAVIA: Whatever! Now that you’re back, we shall discuss about how we’re going to cooperate!
SAMMUL: (rolling his eyes) Do I need to cooperate with you?
TAVIA: Fine! Don’t come to regret it later! (sighs) The few days you were away… Myo… she…
SAMMUL: What?
TAVIA: Why should I tell you if you’re not cooperating?
SAMMUL: Ok, I’ll go with you, how?
TAVIA: (grins) Ok, now listen to my plan…
