(7 June 2004 – Monday – campus – Performance Hall)
Myolie turns her head to see Raymond in a daze. She waves her hands in front of him.
MYOLIE: Ray! What were you thinking of?
RAYMOND: Nothing. (smiles)
TAVIA: Perhaps he’s bored by the performance!
MYOLIE: Why would he? (to Raymond) You told me you do appreciate music too, don’t you?
RAYMOND: Uh huh.
TAVIA: (to Raymond) How come you didn’t tell me?
RAYMOND: Uh… you didn’t ask. (smiles) But now you know!
TAVIA: (a bit jealous) Yup…
SAMMUL: (whispers to Tavia) You better learn how to communicate with him. He was influenced by Michelle and thus loves music.
TAVIA: (whispers back) Speak for yourself! Now they have something in common to click!
SAMMUL: Click? It just takes a mouse and your fingertips to do that!
TAVIA: Lame! Concentrate more on these computer stuffs and soon you’ll lost that click with her!
SAMMUL: Same to you! Concentrate on your crap and you’ll scare him away!
TAVIA: Touchwood! Don’t you dare to curse me!
SAMMUL: (teasing) It doesn’t work like this! (touching the wooden hand bar of his seat) You should do this!
TAVIA: Oh yeah. (mimicking him) Touchwood!
SAMMUL: Haha… you really believe me? Stupid!
MYOLIE: (hearing their noise) Hey, are you two listening to the performance or having your own performance?
TAVIA: Ooops, sorry!
SAMMUL: Sorry, Myo. We’ll concentrate!
MYOLIE: (to Raymond) Tse Kwan Ho is awesome? Don’t you think so? The way he conducts the orchestra, it’s just so… professional!
RAYMOND: (nodding) Yup, I agree. And he looks very artistic to me!
MYOLIE: I just love his sense of mystery and the look in his eyes, simply irresistible!
RAYMOND: That’s the charisma of an artist!
MYOLIE: (excitedly) Exactly!
They threw each other a high five in the air. Tavia and Sammul stared at them as if they were aliens from Mars. The pot calling the kettle back! They put down their hands and covered their mouths in embarrassment. Sammul and Tavia looked at each other, speechless.
After an hour, the performance ended and Myolie went to the backstage with the rest excitedly.
SAMMUL: Hi, Mr. Tse, do you still remember me?
TKH: (smiles) Yup. Sammul, correct?
SAMMUL: Yes! You have a good memory! Erm, let me introduce to you, this is Myolie. She is your crazy fan!
MYOLIE: (objecting) I am your fan, but I’m not crazy!
TKH: (chuckles) Nice to meet you, Myolie. (extends his hand)
MYOLIE: (shaking his hand excitedly) Me too! Can I have your autograph? (handing over an autograph book)
TKH: Sure. (signing) Whose music do you like best?
MYOLIE: Your music!
TKH: (passing back the book) I’m just a conductor, not a composer!
MYOLIE: But I still love your style!
TKH: If you love music, I can introduce my disciple to you. She’s a gifted pianist, and she had did some composing recently.
MYOLIE: Oh really?
TKH: (calling) Michelle!
Raymond was alerted hearing that name. He wondered if it was the Michelle he had known. His answer was revealed in a second. There was some hope on his face. But soon, it was replaced by a sense of disappointment. There was someone behind her.
MICHELLE: (walking in) Yes, KH? (saw Raymond, keeps her smile)
TKH: Oh Yup. (to Michelle) This is Myolie, Sammul and their friends. (to the rest) And this is Michelle, my most gifted student.
MYOLIE: Hi, Michelle, since Mr. Tse highly recommend you, you must be really great at it!
MICHELLE: (smiles) Nah, I’m just learning.
MYOLIE: And very humble also. (referring to a guy behind Michelle) This is?
BOSCO: (broad grin) Hi, I’m Bosco. (to Raymond) Hi, Ray. Long time no see…
RAYMOND: (forces a smile) Yup…
TAVIA: Whoa, you two know each other?
BOSCO: Uh huh.
SAMMUL: (whispering) Erm… don’t tell me you are the Michelle whom Ray has been talking about?
MYOLIE: (shocked) You two know each other?
RAYMOND: (lowers his head) Yup.

(8 June 2004 – Tuesday – Joe Chan’s Gallery)
JOE: (surprised) My god, Ada dear! What brings you here?
ADA: Watch your words, I’m not your dear!
JOE: (indignantly) Your Gallen is not here, why are you so scared?
ADA: Hey, what my Gallen your Gallen? I’m here to ask for a favor!
JOE: (smiles) Anything I can help?
ADA: It’s about Flora.
JOE: Awww… that troublesome sister of mine again. (shakes his head)
ADA: Yep, call me meddlesome or what, I just want to help…
JOE: (smiles and stares at her) I know you are warm and helpful, that’s what I like about you!
ADA: (narrows her eyes) Cut the crap, and let’s get down to business!
JOE: Whoa, so serious!
ADA: Of course!
JOE: What do you want me to do?
ADA: Seriously, I trust Roger when he says he has nothing to do with Jess, but I don’t trust Jess!
JOE: Gosh, you rather trust an outsider than your own sister. Don’t tell me you like Roger!
ADA: (a little bit annoyed) Hey, what rubbish are you talking? First Gallen, then Roger!
JOE: Hmmm… sorry.
ADA: Ok, I need you to keep an eye on Jess, while I’ll keep an eye on Gallen!
JOE: (confused) What has it got to do with Gallen?
ADA: I sense that he got something to do with Flora! I mean… he likes her… just like how Jess likes Roger, so I am afraid…
JOE: Arghhh… all these are so messy, what are they up to?
ADA: So will you help or not?
JOE: Of course, I’m helping you!
ADA: (corrected) Flora! and Roger!
JOE: (grins) Ok, three of you!
Ada lets out a helpless sigh and shakes her head while Joe was still grinning sheepishly at her.
