Chapter 1

An Ordinary Life

He always found himself in the same place at the same time. It is his everyday routine. 6:00 every morning, he would wake up and go for a jog to erase his minds, shower, eat breakfast, dress into one of his casual clothing and then head out. He lived near Tavia, a friend of his for about 4 years. He could still remember every detail of that bright sunny day when he met her.

He knocked on the door and waited for a respond. After a minute there is still no respond. He knocked harder. Still no respond. “Come on Tavia, we’ll gonna be late.” Bosco Shouted.

“Ok I’m coming.” Tavia Shouted. She opened the door and headed out to Bosco car.

Bosco shakes his head. “Sometimes I really don’t know what to do with you.”
“Now...come on, I’m not that bad am I?” Tavia laughed.
“Whatever just get in the car or we really gonna be late...again” Bosco smile.
“I know, last time we were late Leila yelled at us.”
“Hey, it was your fault.” Bosco said.

After 10 minutes of driving, they finally arrive at Leila house. “Well finally! I have been waiting here for 30 minutes.” Leila said.

“Sorry, Tavia is to blame for this.” Bosco Said.
“Omg, its was only a couple of minutes! You are the one with bad driving skills.” Tavia Shouted.

“Ok ok, who cares? Let just get in and plan my party!” Leila said.
“Fine, but this time Tavia doing all the shopping.” Bosco said.
“Wait a minute, why me?” Tavia asked.
“Because last time, you just sat there and do nothing!” Bosco said.
“But...” Before Tavia could finish her sentence Bosco interrupted.
“No Buts, you own me Miss.Yeung.” Bosco smile.

He just loves teasing her, but on the other hand he knows Tavia only treat him as a friend and nothing else. He know he can’t never be more then a friend to her. He also doesn’t want to destroy the relationship they have now.

“Ok Tavia, here is the shopping list” Leila said
Tavia stared at the long shopping list in shock “No way this is like double the size of last year’s party list” Tavia said.
“Now remember to buy two of each!” Leila said.
“Why don’t you asked Kevin to buy it for you” Tavia asked.
“He’s busy with his work; I don’t want to bother him with this kind of stuff” said Leila.
“Ok then we will meet up with you tomorrow to set up the schedules ok?” Bosco said.
“Ok, bye.” Leila said.

“If you don’t want to go shopping, then give me the shopping list” Bosco asked with a shy smile.
“So now you’re being nice to me!” Tavia said.
“I’m not doing this for you, I just don’t want to take the blame for messing up the party when you make a mistake on the shopping list” Bosco said.
“Bosco Bosco Bosco, sometimes I really don’t know what to do with you!” Tavia laughed and waved goodbye to Bosco.
