Chapter 19

Consolation

Bosco was still beside Tavia's bed after she felt asleep. He was still holding her hand tightly. He promise to not let go of her. Can he keep that promise? But that was beside the point. Right now he just want Tavia to be ok. Bosco gently moved Tavia's hair to the side. He can still remember the three words that Tavia had said to him. Did she really meant it? Of course she meant it...but how about her relationship with Ron? Suddenly the door to Tavia's room opens. It was Ron. Bosco immmediatly let go of Tavia.

"Is Tavia ok?" Ron seems like he rushed here. You could see the sweat on his forehead.
"She's fine. She's sleeping right now."

Ron didn't stare at Bosco instead he rushed over to Tavia.

"I can't believe this. Its all my fault. I should of drove her home." Ron whispered.
"Ron...it was nobody's fault. The only one to blame for this was the driver." And me Bosco thought.
"Doesn't matter. Right now i just want Tavia to be ok."
"She's going to be fine. The doctor said it will take time for her eye to recover."
"I know, thank you Bosco. For being here for Tavia."
"You don't need to thx me."
"You should go home, its getting late. I'll stay with Tavia."
"No. I want to stay with her."
"But..."
"Ron i want to stay with Tavia."
"Alright then."
"I'll be right back. I'll get some water for you."
"Thank you."

Bosco went out the door and left Ron behide with Tavia. Ron went near to Tavia and touched her forehead. What have he done. He reached for Tavia's hand. But another object caught his eyes. Tavia was wearing Bosco's bracelet.

"Relax Leila! Tavia is ok. Don't worry...Ron and I will take care of her." Bosco said on the phone.
"Thx god. Are you sure? Maybe i should come too."
"Leila, don't. Is ok. There's no need to come. You stay home and if anything happens...i'll call you ok?"
"Fine, alright then. Remember to get some rest too."
"Ok, i have to go now. Call you later."
"Bye"
"Bye"

Bosco went back in to the room. And gave the water to Ron. For some reason Bosco feel this tenison in the room.

"How's everything going?" Bosco asked Ron.
"Everything's fine. She is still sleeping."
"Oh, ok."Bosco said as he said down on the opposite chair beside Tavia.
"Bosco...i have everything under control here, maybe you should get some rest."
"I don't want to, i'll stay here with you."
"Fine." Ron didn't continue cause he know Bosco is not going to change his mind.

After a couple more hours, both Ron and Bosco felt asleep with their head on either side of Tavia's bed.

It was the next morning, both Ron and Tavia was still sound alseep. Suddenly Tavia woke up. Knowing that Bosco was still beside her, she reach for him. She could feel his head. He must be sleeping. Tavia gently stroke his head softly.

At that moment Ron woke up. He smiled at the sight that Tavia is ok and she was stroking his head.

Tavia could feel the movement from Bosco.

"Bosco you're awake." Tavia said.
