“Mummy, why is Uncle Hee Chul not here to see me?” Yuki asked
“I think he is busy, he is still in Tokyo. Once we get out of here, we’ll fly there to spend the weekend with him okay?” Chae Yeon knew that Yuki will be in a better mood if Hee Chul is around to cheer her up.
Chae Yeon left the hospital to make the arrangements for their trip to Tokyo. She intends to stay there for a few weeks, to get away from the things that are happening in Miyazaki. When it comes to love and relationship, she is a coward woman that is extremely good with running away.
Yuki was very brave, she completed all the required tests and was sitting in the room patiently waiting for her mother. The door opened but it was Seung gi who entered.
“Uncle” Yuki called out
“Sweetie, how are you today?” Seung gi was hoping Yuki would call him daddy, but she didn’t.
“I am done with my tests. I’m going home soon”
“Where is mummy?” Seung gi asked his daughter
“She’s out. She’s coming soon. You should go before she comes. Mummy doesn’t seem to like to see you around” Yuki told Seung gi
“Daddy was wrong; will Yuki give me a chance to take care of you and mummy? To be a good daddy? Daddy loves mummy a lot”
“But you make mummy upset. Because of you mummy cries”
Seung gi felt heartbroken. Why is their love so difficult? His daughter did make some sense. He knows they love each other, and yet they are the reason for each other’s tears.
“You are my baby, from now onwards I will do my very best, I will make up for the past 5 years that I was not around. I hope that one day Yuki will call me daddy”
Seung gi left Yuki’s room. He needs to talk to Chae Yeon. He needs to get her to listen to him, she needs to know that he truly loves her and this is not entirely about taking responsibility.
Seung gi sat on the chairs along the corridor and waited for Chae Yeon to appear. After a few minutes, she appeared.
“Yeonie, we need to talk” Seung gi walked up to Chae Yeon, pulling her aside.
“I don’t want to talk to you; I’ve said what I wanted to say yesterday at the café. Suit yourself if you choose to hang around in Miyazaki. I’m leaving” Chae Yeon pushed his arm away and walked towards Yuki’s room.
Just at this moment, a group of Korean paparazzi came up to them with their cameras, snapping away shots of them.
Seung gi pulled Chae Yeon and they started running away from the cameras. They entered a hidden stairwell and hid there. After what seemed like eternity to Chae Yeon, she decided to just go get Yuki and leave the hospital.
“Wait, I’ll go check if they are out there” Seung gi grabbed Chae Yeon and pulled her behind him.
“You better get your manager to settle the pictures. I should get Yuki out of here as soon as possible. I don’t want her to be the on the front page of tabloids” Chae Yeon said softly and left the stairwell.

Chae Yeon pushed open the door to Yuki’s hospital room but didn’t find her daughter. She frantically asked the doctors and nurses around about Yuki’s whereabouts but no one knew where she was. After 2 hours, they still could not find Yuki.
Chae Yeon ran around the hospital looking for her daughter, searching every ward and room.
“Let me go!” She shouted at the hospital staff who tried to get her to go back to the children’s ward
“Your husband is there, he is looking for you. Maybe we should we call the police for you?” The nurse kindly asked
“The police! I need to find my daughter”
“Yeonie! What happened, where is Yuki?” Seung gi came running behind the nurse.
“Seung gi! Yuki… they took her away, Yuki won’t just leave without me. I don’t know who they are.. please.. give me back my baby” Chae Yeon held on to Seung gi. She was very unstable, she could not keep still.
Seung gi held Chae Yeon in his arms and allowed her to punch and beat him.
“Everything is going to be fine, Yuki will be fine, we’ll find her” He tried to console her, but he was afraid as well. Who would want to abduct Yuki? Was it the reporters?

On the other side of Japan in Tokyo, Hee Chul felt his eyebrow twitch the whole morning. Something must be happening. He received a message from Chae Yeon last night, saying that Yuki is in hospital and that they will be coming up to Tokyo possibly the next day. But he has not heard from her the whole day today, and Chae Yeon cannot be contacted on her cell.
Just as he was rubbing his eyebrow, his phone rang. It was an area code from Miyazaki.
