Mrs Lee heard about the whole drama that went on in her son’s life. She couldn’t believe it at first, but after Jinny went berserk about it, it slowly sink into her that yes, she is a grandmother, whose mother is the woman she chased away 5 years ago.
“Omma, I have something important to tell you”
“I don’t want to hear about your nonsense with that woman. Omma will never acknowledge her as my daughter – in – law, not five years ago, not now.”
“Omma, I love her”
“The woman you love is Jinny, and you will marry her as planned”
“You cannot force me to marry Jinny. I will stay here with Chae Yeon. This is what I have and will do”
Seung gi hung up on his mother. It was the first time in his life he was rude to his mum, and the second time they disagreed because of Chae Yeon.

“Seung gi dear, I heard from the gossip news that you are dating your Chae Yeon Nuna” Mrs Lee asked him when he visited them over the weekend.
“Omma, I think I’m in love”
“Seung gi is in love? With who?”
“With Nuna. But she does not seem to like me. How do I .. you know, chase after her?”
Seung gi was 20. It was the first time he had spoken to his mother about liking a girl. He thought his mother would support him. He was so excited about sharing with his mother how much he liked this Nuna.
“Seung gi, is she seducing you? You can fool around with her but don’t ever be serious okay?”
“I’m not fooling around with her. I like her a lot”
“My boy, listen to Omma, that Nuna is just a passing phase. Soon you’ll find her boring, so don’t put your heart into it. Omma knows best”
He didn’t want to argue. Seung gi knew that towards Chae Yeon, it was not just a passing phase. He eventually did manage to win her heart over. They dated for close to a year.

The next morning, Seung gi took the first flight to Miyazaki. He was expecting to see Chae Yeon on that flight, but he did not.

He met Jinny that same afternoon. No matter what his mother says, it is between the two of them and he wants to give her an explanation.
“Oppa, lets cancel the wedding” Jinny started off the conversation
“I’m glad you broke off with me. I won’t want to regret marrying a man who does not love me” She continued
“Jinny, I’m very sorry. I tried, but all that is not important anymore. I will explain everything to the media. You don’t have to worry a thing”
“Will Oppa still be like a big brother to me?” Jinny felt uneasy, she has been following this man for 5 years, everywhere he goes, everything he does. To suddenly break off like that, she felt weird
“You will always be my little sister. Oppa wish you all the best in finding your happiness”
“Do you really love Chae Yeon Onni?”
“I have loved her all these years, she never left my heart”
“I have never met Chae Yeon Onni but I think she is a good person. Even Hee Chul Oppa is willing to do so much for her” Jinny knows how concern Hee Chul is towards Yuki and Chae Yeon.
“I know what I need to do now, Oppa has grown up, so has Jinny” Seung gi felt that within a few days, Jinny has become a different person. She is much more sensible as compared to before.

“Hee Chul Oppa, I’ve broken off with Seung Gi Oppa” Jinny called Hee Chul
“I’m glad to hear that. Are you going back to Seoul soon?” Hee Chul was at the Miyazaki airport catching a flight back to Tokyo.
“Will Oppa contact me when you visit Seoul?”
“I will, when I do go to Seoul, Jinny the most popular actress will have to entertain me alright?”
“Oppa thank you”
“Silly girl, you will be fine, go home and start a new life without Seung Gi. You are still so young”
“Are you staying here with Chae Yeon Onni?”
“I’m leaving for Tokyo, there is a big mess in my company that I have to clear up”
“You better go then. Bye Bye”
“Take care silly one, call me if there’s anything… I want to hear from you”
