“He’s still in Japan, we broke off, aunty”
“Why did you break off with him?” Mrs Lee was mad, she sent Jinny there so that Seung gi will return to Seoul but it has been a few weeks now
“He does not love me, and I don’t think my feelings for him are love” Jinny said innocently.
“Well things are not that easy you know. There will be a big mess if news spreads. Do something to get Seung gi back. You are a woman. Do what that woman did! Seduce your man back!”
“I don’t want to. They love each other a lot, why don’t you just let them be together?” Jinny felt that Seung gi’s mom’s words were a little harsh.
“And Yuki, their daughter, she is very cute and lovely” Jinny fell in love with Yuki after spending that night with her. Since coming back to Seoul, she has been thinking of that night, the fun she had with Yuki, the time she spent with Hee Chul.
“That child is an illegitimate child. I will never acknowledge her as my granddaughter. And you better do something about your wedding, if things don’t turn out the way they were intended to, your role in the drama of the year will be at stake. You know that very well, it’s the politics of the industry”
It was the first time Jinny disagreed with Mrs Lee. All these years, being the good girl she is, she never questions the instructions of her elders. They told her to love Seung gi, she loved, and they told her to be devoted to the one man. She did as told. But now she is starting to question her past. She realized what a fool she was.

“Hee Chul Oppa” Jinny called Hee Chul late that night
“Jinny? I’m was just about to call you”
“Really? Why did you want to call me?”
“You first, what’s up?” Hee Chul had just arrived in Seoul
“Nothing much, I just wanted to tell you about my day” Jinny felt embarrassed at her reason for calling him.
“Ah… Guess what silly one, I brought you fresh Japanese scallops. Where do you live? Oppa will come pick you up. You can tell me all about your week when we meet”
Jinny was thrilled. It was the first time she felt so excited about a date. When she was with Seung gi, he rarely looks at her when they go out. After a while, she stopped being concern of what she wore. But this time, she ransacked her whole wardrobe to find the perfect dress.
