“Mummy always reads a story to me. Are you going to read me a story too?” Yuki asked her father
“What story do you want to listen to?” Seung gi played with Yuki’s long hair
“Your love story with mummy” Yuki giggled.
“Is a long story, it will take days to finish to it”

“Seung gi, this is Chae Yeon, she’s your Nuna” Park (Seung gi’s manager) introduced them
“Hello Nuna, my name is Lee Seung Gi” Seung gi politely shook Chae Yeon’s hands
“Ah... Seung gi, everyone here must be your Nuna, you are so young” Chae Yeon smiled at Seung gi. That smile she had, Seung gi will always remember that smile.
“Our Seung gi is very young and capable, please look out for him” Park politely said

“She has a very nice smile” Seung gi looked back at Chae Yeon, who left in a hurry
“Don’t get too attracted by her. She’s a lot older than you”
Seung gi picked up a tiny white mobile phone
“Lets go Seung gi, we need to rush to the next venue” Park pulled Seung gi along.
Sitting in the mini van, Seung gi opened the flip of the phone to see whose phone it was. He saw a very cute and funny picture of Chae Yeon and a dog as the wall paper.
“Hello, is this Chae Yeon’s residence?” Seung gi dialled the “home” number
“Who is this?” Aunty asked
“My name is Lee Seung gi, I picked up nuna’s mobile phone”
“Ah. That careless girl dropped her phone again”
“Can aunty leave nuna a message to call me to pick her phone up?”
“Sure, I’ll get her to call her own phone”

“Thank you so much” Chae Yeon met Seung gi at the lobby of SBS
“Nuna will have to be more careful. Why is nuna dressed like that?” He was curious, Chae Yeon was wearing sports wear, and it does not really fit in with her sexy concept
“I’m filming the variety show Xman. It’s a new show. Today is its 8th episode.”
“What is it about?”
“It’s a game show, 5 guys and 3 girls on each team. Sometimes we have to pair up as couples, it’s interesting”
That night, he asked Park to try to get him an appearance on Xman. He believes that one day, he might get to partner her on Xman. In reality, their age has a difference, but on show, anything is possible.

“Daddy you are so long winded, I’m sleepy already” Yuki mumbled with her eyes closed
“Baby, you just called me daddy, did you realized it?” Seung gi was over the moon.
Yuki had fallen deep asleep; she knows that she has the rest of her life to listen to her daddy’s stories. Her daddy is here, and he promised to never leave again.

Seung gi peeped into Chae Yeon’s room. She is drawing the design for a wedding gown. Chae Yeon has got used to Seung gi being around their house. She still won’t allow him to stay for the night but he is here almost every night for dinner. She is enjoying the time he’s here, because in her heart, she secretly fears the day that he will be gone, the day he goes back to Seoul.
“Are you designing a wedding gown for our wedding?” Seung gi came up to Chae Yeon and kissed her
“It’s for the soon-to-be Mrs Nagayo” Chae Yeon returned his kiss.
“You gave Yuki the old ring, so I bought you a new one” Seung gi went on his knees and presented a sparkling new diamond ring in front of Chae Yeon.
Chae Yeon starred at the ring and at the man kneeling in front of her. His face, he looked older now, much older. He is starting to have fine lines on his face. His face is much rougher, but his eyes; they still had that same lovable look. 5 years ago when she rejected his proposal, she though she would never get to see him turn older, into a real man. But here he is in front of her, on his knees with a ring in his hand. She was worried, worried that once again people will take him away from her.
“Seung gi, are you happy now?’ Chae Yeon asked
“Of course I am” he gave her another little kiss
“I’m very happy too. Shall we just stay this way?”
“What do you mean stay this way?”
“I don’t want to marry you” She pouted cutely at him
“Why not?” Seung gi could not understand
“It’s difficult. Can I be selfish and say no but want you to stay beside me and Yuki?” She whined and pulled his arm lovingly
“Why is it difficult? I won’t leave you and Yuki, no matter what you say I won’t leave the two of you, but why do you not want to marry me? I want to give you a name, a status” Seung gi flustered at her reply.
Chae Yeon was behaving like she did to him 5 years ago, when she dropped her “nuna” image and demanded things from him like a spoilt girlfriend.

“Seung gi. You know what I want for my birthday?”
They were strolling along the streets of Japan on a secret holiday
“What is it darling?”
“A tattoo”
“A tattoo?” Seung gi gasped at her request
“Yes. Get one with our names on it”
“Do you really want me to do it?” Seung gi was willing to do anything for her. He loved her that much.
Chae Yeon nodded her head excitedly
“Ok, do you know a good shop?”
Chae Yeon brought him to this doggy basement that looked really scary.
“You go do it, I’m going shopping, and I’ll see you in a few hours?” Chae Yeon waved goodbye to him
Seung gi entered the store and found a young man smoking and watching pornography
“Hello, how can I help you?” the tattoo man asked Seung gi
“Erm… I need to get a tattoo… with words on it. My girlfriend recommended this place” Seung gi felt uneasy.
“Who is your girlfriend?” the tattoo man asked
“Chae Yeon…” Seung gi looked around the shop.
“Ah… Pretty girl! Her dancers, they are my buddies!” the tattoo man pat Seung gi on the back.
“Can you do a quick one, I’ll like to get it over and done with”
“But a tattoo is life long. How could you want to get it over and done with?” The tattoo man asked Seung gi
“I don’t really want it; it’s a present for her” Seung gi smiled, recalling Chae Yeon’s cute expression when she suggested the tattoo. He wanted to make her happy. He thought, after all, he intended to love her forever, a tattoo will be fine
“You must love her” the tattoo man said
“I do, she’s my woman” Seung gi loved talking about Chae Yeon, he was very contented
“Well your woman said that if you don’t go pick her up from the mall in 30 mins, she’s going to be angry” the tattoo man sat down and got back to his video.
“What?” Seung gi got shocked by the sudden change of attitude in the tattooist
“Do you think the woman whom you love so much will make you have a tattoo in this kind of place? She loves you too you know”

Seung gi pulled the whinny Chae Yeon into his arms waiting for her answer.
“I don’t want it, I don’t need status. I’m happy like this. You won’t force me to do things I don’t want right?” Chae Yeon hugged Seung gi. She didn’t want to argue with him, she knows she’ll end up crying again.
“I won’t force you, I’ll give you time, I’ll wait for you till you are ready, you will be mine one day” Seung gi kept her close to him. He didn’t understand why she rejected him. 5 years ago, maybe she rejected him because he was too young, and she was confused because she had Yuki. But now, he wonders if she just needs time to accept him again.
