Initially, I wanted Jinny’s and Hee Chul’s character to take on a 40% role and Giyeon a 60%, but I realised that my words don’t flow out that smoothly for them. I guess I am just not as passionate about those two characters as compared to Chae Yeon, Seung gi and Yuki.
I tried to picture little Yuki as a combination of Chae Yeon’s attractiveness and Seung gi’s sensibility. I hope in your minds she turned out the way I wanted her to.
I really enjoyed writing this story, and I do cry a lot when I write the sad parts… it is silly… but I would imagine the characters acting it out in a Korean drama. When the story was in its earlier stage, my alternative ending was Seung gi going to pursue his career as an international star (like Bi) and Chae Yeon lives a normal life in Japan with Yuki and Takashi. But as the story developed with flashbacks of them now, I realized that as long as they are who they are (characters based on real people) they sound and look the best together. No doubt about that.
Earlier I was a little disorientated because of the news article on Chae Yeon’s ex-boyfriend.
I went to watch the show and this is a brief summary of what happened.
She had an ex-boyfriend who got angry with her because she didn’t immediately reject one guy’s affection towards her. And although she never went out with any other man, he didn’t trust her and always wanted to break off. But she likes him a lot, and tried many times to keep him. This included waiting for him outside his place etc… She was hospitalized not because of the rain but depression, and the cause of the fever which caused her hospitalization is unknown.
For certain I know the guy who showed affection for her is not Seung gi, so as a strong believer of the Giyeon pairing; I cannot help but think that Seung gi is her boyfriend. So I got a little disturbed.
I just hope that Chae Yeon will find her happiness in life soon, and Seung gi will grow up into a man that will never hurt a woman. Now that they are both active on TV, I hope they get to appear on a show really soon. I enjoy watching them, and love them for who they are. Seung Gi, Chae Yeon, Fighting! Giyeon fans will always be behind you!
