They were given access to the main school hall and the old library. Seung gi looked around the hall. It has an impressive structure. He walked around examining the old paintings, but heard someone weeping away. He traced the sound and saw a little girl crying behind the stage curtains. He walked up to her, and realized that she’s the little girl from Mount Fuji. Yuki.
“Yuki, do you remember me? We met at mount Fuji” Seung gi sat beside her.
Yuki looked up. She remembers this man. He’s Uncle Hee Chul’s friend. She stopped crying and wiped her tears away. Seung gi heart sank, this outspoken little girl looks so pitiful crying away, was she bullied?
“Tell uncle, what happened? Did someone bully you?” He carried her in his arms and brought her down to his resting area.
“No, I’m just sad” She looked around at the camera crew, interested in all the fuss and lightings. This was a little different from the lights at the studio in her mom’s boutique.
“Why is little Yuki sad? Tell uncle about it” Seung gi could not resist but gave her a peck on her little nose. Yuki has a cute little mole on her nose, just like Chae Yeon’s.
“Because its fathers day, everyone brought their daddy with them to school”
“Is your daddy too busy to come?” Seung gi arranged her little ribbon on her unifrom
“I don’t have a father” Yuki pouted again. That silly habit she took over from her mom.
Seung gi allowed Yuki to stay with the camera crew as they filmed a portion of his music video. When he turned around, Yuki was gone. He saw a note on his seat
[Mummy is coming to pick me up, I need to go. Bye Bye – Yuki-]
Seung gi kept that note. He knows its silly, but he did it anyways. That night, his thoughts were filled with little Yuki. Why does she not have a daddy? What kind of father would abandon such a cute little girl?

That father’s day, Chae Yeon personally went to fetch her daughter from school. She knew it was father’s day and she didn’t have a father for Yuki.
“Mummy, aren’t we meeting Uncle Hee Chul? Lets go now, or we’ll be late” Yuki didn’t like the crowd at the town’s festival square. She was the only one without a daddy.
Chae Yeon knows Yuki is sad. It made her heartbroken, she hated this day of the year, she hated herself.
After dinner, Yuki joined the rest of the children in the games room to play. Yuki was reluctant at first, but decided to follow since her mom wanted her to.
“Have you thought of letting her meet her father?” Hee Chul asked
“He’s getting married soon”
“Its all over the news, isn’t it?”
“His fiancée wants me to design her gown”
“Are you going to do it?”
“…”
Chae yeon started tearing.
“If you tell him that Yuki is his child, he might not go ahead with the wedding.”
“What use does it make? I’m sure he hates me, he does not need to know”
“Yuki needs a father, and you need a man to take care of you”
It saddens him to see her like that. He knows she still loves that man.
“Takashi called me, he said you didn’t want to spend father’s day with him. He’s a good man, you should consider giving him a chance.”
“I know he’s a good man. But I can’t make myself love him”
Whatever it is, as long as it is her choice, he as her friend will respect her decision.

That night when Chae Yeon and Yuki got home, they saw Takashi waiting outside their house. Takashi is the owner of Sorimachi Corp, a very rich and reputable man. He took a liking for Chae Yeon when they met at an event, and has been chasing after her ever since.
“How are my darlings doing tonight?” He greeted them with a smile and bags of presents.
“Uncle Takashi” Yuki greeted him politely
“You can call me Ah-pa if you want, its father’s day. This is for you” Takashi joked with Yuki and gave her a bag of new toys. Yuki didn’t fancy any of those toys. But she accepted them out of politeness.
“How was your day? I just got back from Seoul; I will be around for a week or so.” Takashi brought out a bouquet of flowers and gave it to Chae Yeon
“You don’t have to keep doing this” Chae Yeon stood at the entrance of the door, looking at the gifts he bought. She didn’t want to invite Takashi into the house.
“I find pleasure in buying you things”
“Yuki, why don’t you take these flowers for mummy and go in and rest?” Chae Yeon told her daughter. Yuki obediently went into the house and up to her room.
“I’m going to Italy next month. I hope you can come with me”
“Thank you, but you know I have to reject your offer”
“Do you doubt my love for you? I will provide you with anything you want” Takashi pulled Chae Yeon into his arms.
Takashi is a very proud man. When he sets his eyes on something, he will need to have it. Chae Yeon to him, is a challenge. Because of her constant refusal, he is even more determined to make her say yes.
“I’m not that type of woman” She backed away
“Yuki, if she takes my name, Yuki Sorimachi. Wouldn’t that be a cute name?”
He was constantly using her daughter as bait to accept him. Chae Yeon knows that very well. Everyone tells her that Yuki needs a father, and Takashi seems to be the perfect candidate for it.
