He saw her drawing alone in the garden
“Hello little one, what are you drawing?” She was painting the view of the lake.
“Hello Uncle” she smiled, her cute little dimples appeared.
“You paint very well. Does your mother paint as well?” He had about 2 hours before he catches his flight back to Seoul.
“No, but she draws very well. My mom is a designer. She design dresses” Yuki smiled, thinking of her mom’s messy drawing table at home
“She must love you a lot”
“She does, I love her a lot too”
The wind blew the clouds apart, revealing the mid summer sun on them. It reflected against something shinny and caught Seung gi’s attention.
“What is this?” he came closer to Yuki, observing the necklace she was wearing. He was stunned. On the necklace hangs his grandmother’s unique diamond ring.
“Where did you get this?” Many thoughts ran through Seung gi’s head. He knew that the ring was custom made by his grandpa. There could not be two similar rings.
“Mummy gave it to me” Yuki kept the necklace in her vest.
He starred in shock at the little girl in front of him.
“Uncle, this is for you, my chauffer is here, I’ve got to run” Yuki gave him the painting of the lake, and ran towards the driver.
Lee Sueng gi rushed to the airport, not to fly to Seoul but to Tokyo.

“Hee Chul Shi, where is Chae Yeon shi?” Seung gi turned at up Hee Chul’s company in Tokyo
“I don’t know where she is, you are asking the wrong person”
“I know you still keep in contact with her”
“I’m busy, let me see you out”
“Tell me, is Yuki Chae Yeon’s child?”
“What does that got to do with you?” Hee Chul expression betrayed him
“I want to know, is she married?”
“Leave her alone, she does not want you in her life”
“Who is Yuki’s father?” Seung gi was going mad. Yuki said she does not have a father. If Yuki is Chae Yeon’s child, then Chae Yeon does not have a husband. Yuki is five this year. What is going on?
“Yuki has her mother who loves her a lot. Please, don’t ruin their life by getting involved”
“Am I Yuki’s father?”
“How ridiculous can you be? I am more likely to be Yuki’s father than you ever will be. You are getting married soon, just go back to Jinny and live your happy life in Korea.”
Hee Chul stormed out of the office. He had to leave before he reveals anything more. He needs to think of a way to explain this all to Chae yeon.
