“Always look up sweetheart.” her mother ordered. “ Walk with pride and joy, never let other people put you down, because they don’t know who you are and always know right from wrong.” Her mother smiled, “ Though you have a better life than most people out there, it doesn’t mean you have to draw the line between the rich and the commons, because money cannot bring you happiness.. But people around you can.”
10 years after, even without her mother by her side, her words still surrounds Ella‘s soul. She’s walks into Berry Blue’s Bakery, a place that brings her happiness.. And joy, where all her friends love her for her..
“Joe Cheng, one of the top 10 bachelors, is on his way back.” Dason read off a news paper.
“Isn’t that your cousin Ella?” Jiro asked.
Ella walked out from behind the counter along with Hebe and Selina holding cakes and coffee. “Yeah why?” she asked.
“How does it feel to be related to one of the top bachelors huh Ella?” Hebe asked.
“Wouldn’t know. “she laughed. “I don’t ask Danson how it feels to be Selina’s brother so I?”
“Ask” Danson replied. “I’ll tell you, it totally sucks!”
Selina playfully hits her brother and sat right next to Ella. “Danson’s a pig!” she cried.
“And so is Joe.”
All three girls got up and grabbed their purses.
“Where are you guys going?” Danson and Jiro asked. “Who’s going to watch the shop?”
The girls looked back and all smiled. “Shopping!” They got in Ella’s metallic blue BMW and drove off leaving Danson and Jiro to look after the shop.

Inside the mall, Chun took his cousin, Ariel, to lunch along with her friend Angela.
Chun was always the playboy type. He’d be with one girl after another.. That was his style.. To play with girls before they played him..
“Why are you being so nice today?” Ariel asked.
“Can’t a guy take his favorite cousin out to lunch?”
“You can.. But usually there’s a catch.” she replied.
Chun looked at Ariel then at Angela and gave his little playboy smirk. “No catch at all.” he said. “So Angela, how’s your model career going?”
“Going great.. “ she replied. “Just.. Great.”
“Chun!.. Can I see the ring you bought for Auntie for her birthday!” Ariel asked.
Chun took out a box from the bag and opened it. In it was a diamond ring that he had bought for his mother.
“It’s so pretty”
“Course it is..” he replied. “I have to make sure it’s the best for her.”
All of a sudden, a guy ran passed them taking the ring along with him. Chun, Ariel, and Angela started to chase after it, but lost him..

“Do you think it’s okay to leave the boys looking after the shop?” Selina asked.
“Course.. “ Ella assured her..” I’m sure.. That their mature..”
“What’s the worse that can happen? Them burning down the shop?” Hebe laughed. “Your brother knows how to take over the shop.”
They continued to walk, that is until a guy bumped into Ella causing her to fall, but the guy continued to run off.
“So rude!” Hebe shouted and helped Selina pick Ella up. Ella looked down to the floor and saw a ring there..
“Hey! Hey wait you dropped your ring!” She shouted, but too late.. He was too far gone.
“Whoa!.. Is that real?” Hebe asked.
Before they took a good look at the ring, they saw a group with 3 people running to them.
“So you’re the one who took the ring!” Angela yelled.
“What are you talking about?” Selina asked.
Hebe and Ella looked at each other than back at the ring in Ella’s hand.
“That ring is ours!” Chun said. “Give it back!”
“Well can I get a please?” Ella crossed her arms. “Maybe I’ll consider it and give it back.”
“Its ours, Why do we have to say please?!” they shouted back.
“Hey! doesn’t this ring look nice on my finger?!” Ella asked her friends.
“Just give us back the ring.. And we won’t report you..” Ariel explained.
“What do you mean report?!” Selina asked. “We didn’t steal it!”
“Course, thieves never admit themselves as thieves..” Chun argued.
“How do I know that your not lying?” Ella smirked.
“I’m asking for my ring back aren’t I?”
“How should I know? Liars never admit themselves as liars..” she replied. “If you can show me your name on this ring, I’ll be happy to give it back to you.. But if you can’t.. “ she waved her fingers at him.. “Ta- Ta”
The three girls walked right through Chun, Ariel and Angela ignoring them completely, But Chun angrily ran to Ella and pulled her hands back.
“That’s enough!” Chun scolded. “I’m tired of you common people taking something that doesn’t even belong to you..” he looked at her up and down, then gripped her wrist tighter.. “You think I’m going to believe that a girl like you could afford such a ring?.. I’m not stupid.. If you want my attention, then just say so.”
Ella ignored the pain in her wrist and shook his hands off, with the corner of her lips forming a tiny witty grin, she responded with a slap going across Chun’s face.
“Don’t touch me..” She replied sharply and walked away with Hebe and Selina.
“Chun?! Are you okay?!” Ariel asked.
“She dared slap me..” Chun replied feeling the side of his face. “We’ll see..”
