“Miss Ella! Miss Ella!” a maid shouted from inside her room.
“Oh man, she’s not hanging her herself is she?” Joe asked himself and ran to her room as fast as he can. He violently banged on the door causing it to open. “ELLA! WHATEVER IT IS WE CAN FIGURE IT OUT! DON’T…” he paused for a bit after he realized what she was doing.. “Hang upside down on your bed?!?!”
that’s right. Ella was on her bed, standing on her head with her body leaning against the wall. “What’s wrong with you Joe?” she asked.
He gave out a sign for the maids to leave the room and closed the door behind him. “What are you doing now Miss Ella Chen?”
“Maybe if I think this way, all the blood can rush to my head and give me more ideas.”
“Ella,” he sighed annoyingly. “Get down.. “
“No! it’s day One and I have nothing so far..” she whined. “NOTHING!”
He jumped on her bed and pulled her legs down, picked up her head and shook it. “ARE YOU AWAKE YET?!” he yelled right into her ear.
“Okay okay!” she pushed him away and shook her head. “I wanted ideas, not death.”
Ring Ring..
“Oh God! the phone!” She cried and hid behind Joe.
“That’s the your phone you idiot!.” he replied. “that’s the house phone.”

“That’ll be great!” Her father acclaimed. “We’ll see you tonight.”
After her father hung up, Joe and Ella walked downstairs. “Oh honey, where are you going?!”
“I’m.. taking Joe out.” she replied. “he promised me some new clothes.”
“Can you rearrange it?” he pleaded.
“Why Uncle?” Joe asked. “Is something going on?”
“Mr. And Mrs. Wu invited us to their house for dinner.”
“I don’t see how any of that has to do with me Daddy.” she replied. “I don’t have to go.”
“Mrs. Wu says that it’s a must that you go.” he said. “just make sure you get ready by 5 tonight.” and he left without giving Ella a chance to fight back.
“I can’t believe I have to go!” she shouted. “This is stupid why is he using his parents to…” she paused and gasped.
“What’s wrong?” Joe asked.
“I got it, I got it! I can make Mom and Dad buy the bakery for me without marry that asshole.. After all, Daddy is Adam Chen right?!”
“Wow, did the blood rushing to your head method work?” he teased.
“I don’t know, but this is the only good idea I have!” this time she lets out a big sigh in relief and walked back to her room.

That night, Ella, her parents, and Joe went to the Wu’s house.
“Evening!” Chun’s parents greeted “we’re so glad you made it.”
“Remember Daddy, whatever you do.. Just try to buy the bakery!” Ella whispered to her father while her mom was keeping them busy.
“Are you going to tell me what’s going on?” he asked.
“Just do it daddy.. And I’ll love you forever.”
“Evening Miss Chen.” Chun greeted as he walks downstairs.
Joe and Ella looked up and she finally saw it.. She saw it in him..
“I finally see it Joe..” she smiled.
“See what?”
“He looks like… like.. “she smiled bigger. “Satan walking out of hell.”
After all the greeting and exchange of evil glares, they , made their way to the guest room. Ella made sure that Joe sat right next to her.. But things had changed.
“Sorry If I’m late.” Ariel apologized when she walked in the door. Joe turned around and found himself amazed at her gorgeous appearance and how beautifully she glows at night.
“Joe?..Hello?” Ella called waving her hands in front of him, after no reaction, she smacked him on his forehead. “Wake up!”
Ariel made her way passed the couch that Ella and Joe were sitting on and sat next to Chun.
“Why did you invite me?” Ariel asked.
“Family time, cousin.”
“What are you planning this time?” she glare at him. “You know you can’t get her, why are you even trying?”
“Who says I cant get her?”
“I say she looks really cute together with Danson.” Ariel giggled. “They get along so well.”
“Who the hell is Danson?” he thought for a moment then remembered. “Oh that bakery shop owner, person, guy.”
“Hi Ariel” Joe greeted her. “What are you doing here?”
“Chun dragged me here and you?!” she replied. “What are you doing here?”
“Oh same, my cousin made me come.” he said right before being smacked by Ella.
“Maybe you two should go out for dinner.” Chun implied. “It beats staying here.”
“I’m ready if you are.” Ariel looked at Joe, who right now has a great big smile.
“Sure!”
“No, No, No, this isn’t going to work Joe!” Ella whispered to him. “Your just going to leave me here?”
“How bad can it be? He looks like he’s behaving, maybe its all in your head.” he replied and handing her a pack of pills from his pocket. “Here, use this if you need to, other than that, I cant help you.”
With that said, Joe left with Ariel and Chun took over Joe’s seat.
“What do you want now?” she asked. “Go away.”
“Did you make your decision yet?”
“I have exactly 2 days and 6 hours left.” she replied. “And maybe, I wont have to..”
While Ella and Chun were arguing, their parents were totally having their own conversations.
“Don’t they look like a cute couple?” Mrs. Wu asked. “I’m glad we did this.”
Mr. Chen glanced over at his daughter and noticed that she mouth him, telling him to hurry and make the deal.
“Mrs. Wu, we’ve been great friends for a long time, and maybe..” he paused and smiled. “Maybe you’d like to sell me Berry Blue’s land.”
“Why do you want that land for?” Mr. Wu asked.
“Well, Ella really love that place, and I cant have her bother your land everyday.” Adam’s Wife replied. “So, we thought it would be easier if that land became ours.”
“We’re very sorry Adam, but that land is now in Chun’s hands and we have no right over it.” His mother responded. “and I know he won’t sell that land, because he loves that land as well.. “
“But..”
“And I wanted to talk to you about something else Adam” she said. “look at our kids, don’t they just look adorable together?.. I’ve know Ella ever since she was born, and I love her attitude. Maybe we should be in-laws.”
“I think it’s up to Ella on who she wants to marry.” Mrs. Chen said.
At this point, Ella was confused. “That’s it?! Its over? Daddy lost?!” She thought to herself. “No! oh god this cant be happening!” Chun, Who was twirling her hair continuously smirked.
“You think I’m dumb enough to not know that you were going to use your parents?” he whispered. “I’m a fast learner Miss. Chen.”
“Why can’t you just leave me alone?!” she asked.
“You’d look good as my wife,” he grinned. “Give it up kid, no matter what you do, your still going to end up marry me, so don’t waste your energy.”
“Okay kids, “Chun’s mother said. “We’re going to go out tonight.”
“I want to go daddy!” Ella shouted.
“Honey,” Mrs. Wu laughed. “Your all grown up, you cant follow daddy everywhere he does, stay here with My son and keep him company.”
“Of course she’s going to stay mom,” Chun cut in. “Don’t worry Mr. Chen, I’ll take good care of your daughter.
While Chun walked his parents to the door, Ella took this chance and melted her sleeping pills in his drink.\
“Looks like its just me and you princess.” He said. “Beautiful night isn’t it?”
She nervously smiled and tried to scoot away from him. Chun took a sip of his wine and sat next to her. “Today must be my lucky day, sitting home alone with a beautiful lady.” he winked and put his arm around her. “there’s no way out tonight.”
“What are you doing? Get off of me!” she shouted and attempted to fun away, but He pulled her back and ended up having her fall on him.
“Why aren’t these stupid meds working?!” she thought to herself. “Why isn’t he sleeping yet?!”
Chun looked into her eyes and smiled, like he had never seen anyone so adorable and gentle.. Whenever his lips moved closer to hers, she moved her head away from him.
“Don’t do this..” she said innocently with a sweet smile. “This isn’t right..”
He could feel his head begin to daze and his eyes begin to close.. “Are you scared?” he whispered right before his head fell on her.
“Mr. Wu?” she called out trying to test if he’s awake. “Are you awake?”
She moved his head and hands off of her and got out of his embrace. “Scared?! Scared my ass!” she argued. “I’ll be scared of you when pigs learn how to fly, stupid, perverted, playboy.”
She took a marker out of her purse and marked the words “I’m A Dumbass” right on his forehead, tied his hands back and his feet together, and took a picture of him on her cell phone.
“Sleep tight Mr. Wu.” she smiled and hopped out of the house.
